I am huge NorthFace fan. I'm also from the north where it gets sifniciantly colder than places in the south and have grown up in areas the drop to -25 degrees to 35 degrees every winter. This is without question my favorite NorthFace article of clothing. It's cut like a hoodie but has a fleece lining on the inside so it fits very well and can function as a second layer of clothing over a T shirt but interestingly enough is warm enough to pass as a jacket. I own multiple NorthFace hoodies and a Denali jacket as well. Some how this jacket breathes If you are inside and you won't be too hot, but ironically is also warmer than my Denali. The buttons in addition give you some nice options as to the style and appearance of it and the pockets are large. I carry a hat and NorthFace gloves in my pockets. The small arm pocket isn't as big as I thought it would be, maybe big enough for an iPod or cigarette pack to fit in, but a cell phone would not fit. Still a cool pocket for a lighter, money, credit card, or something small that needs to be easily accessed. This jacket is worth every penny and I get complimented on it every time I wear it. I bought a Medium and I'm 6'1 and 185 pounds. Best NorthFace purchase I've ever made.

To stay warm

Great jacket! Warm, stylish and a great fit. I love the button front closure, but it also has the full zipper as well. The hood has a secret face shield that's a pretty cool feature. I usually wear a medium, but got a small to have a more custom fit feel. No complaints on this jacket.

It's really warm. I wear it in 20-30 degrees weather here in Detroit with a t shirt under. I bought the grey and now I want to get the black also.
