These ski pants fit me beautifully. Wore them today in very cold Vermont ski weather (15F and sunny). I was warm all day, and very comfortable. For reference, I am 5'1" and 112 lbs, and the medium short is right for me, with room to adjust the waist. I prefer to tuck in my upper layers and like the extra room of the Medium.

If you are a 00P/PXXS, order the XS in Short. For reference, I'm 5'3" and 90lbs. The velcro tabs at the waist cinch without bunching up the fabric, and you won't be dragging the (very nicely reinforced) cuffs. Plenty of mobility at the knees, even squatting down all the way. They are wider/more flared than needed for just snow boots, but it accommodates ski/snow boots well. They are immediately warm when you put them on. The blue is a really nice color in person, true to the website image. I love these!

i got these for my girlfriend for snowboarding. she's very thin, with long legs, so it was nice to have a "long" option for the legs. they fit her perfectly and they're very warm and waterproof. the first pants i got didn't have pockets, and that was a con that we couldn't deal with. these have some pockets, they're warm, and fit over large snowboarding boots. they're great!

I'm amazed how fast I received my pants: ordered Sunday night and I received it Wednesday morning during busy holiday season. It is great because I need it this weekend to ski with my kids.
The product is good quality, stylish design, great construction, very bright and warm red color. The insulation is light but warm enough. The lining is in the red color too to make it like a design pants. The outside material is soft but strong enough for snow days. The nice design of this pants is there is a curve from hips to waist which is great for someone like me have large hips but thin waist. Overall, it is a very good buy.

I am a short (4' 11) woman with bigger thighs. I struggled to find snowpants for up in the mountains. Literally went to EVERY shop there is where I live and had no luck at all either they wouldn't fit in my thighs, would be left with way too much room in the waist or they would feel like they were 5 miles too long. I finally broke down and decided the worse that can happen is they don't fit and I could return them. I'm so glad I did because they are amazing! They fit especially with the adjustable waistband and keep me dry and warm all day!

My first TNF garment was a fabulous shell with a fleece liner that my husband gave me for a gift when I turned 40. I had refused to pay that much for a jacket prior to that. That jacket has been a lifesaver to me over the past ten years. Between ice cold soccer games, on the slopes, football games, cold days on the trail... I have loved that jackets and it is still in amazing shape. I am adding these pants to my TNF collection and look forward to many days spent together on the slopes. Love the functionality, breathability and the POCKETS! Thank you for making a great garment.

I was skeptical of the fit of these as some reviews said these pants fit small but I would say these are true to size for what I was expecting of a medium waist of long length. I'm 5'10" and finding women's snowpants that are long enough can be a struggle. The fit of these is incredible as well as flattering and when it comes to snow pants that's a unicorn! In jeans I typically fit between a size 4-6 or 27-28 waist and with a pair of thick leggings underneath I found that these pants fit perfectly with a little extra space to move or put on something thicker. If I just wear leggings underneath I would make use of the handy velcro tabs on the sides that allow you to adjust the waist. All in all - I'm obsessed! The color (I got Golden Spice) is incredible, the fit is perfect, the only thing left to test is just how "insulated" these pants are...I ski the North and it gets chilly so TBD but I'll update after use. Also one last thing, a major factor for me with these was the lifetime warranty - I had a pair of Burton insulated snow pants before these and they lasted just over a season before splitting quite spectacularly down the crotch....and they were by no means cheap so this pair from the North Face is something I'm truly excited about.

I used these pants on a ski trip. They kept my legs warm by blocking wind, and kept out snow. I had enough range of motion, and they were comfortable.

I normally wear a size 8 pants. 5'6" 143 pounds and purchased a large. I tried on the medium and it fit well but I wanted plenty of room for warm base layers so bought the large. These pants also have wonderful Velcro side adjustments so you can tighten the waistband to fit your shape. The pants are a classic rise, not too high or too low. Many pockets, lightweight yet lots of insulation, packs up well, and super stylish. I ordered the light blue and love them. I will have to hem up the bottom since I ordered the large.

Very comfortable and easy to take on and off. They kept me warm sitting on metal bleachers at a football game. Fit great with my winter boots. I would get a size up to be on the safe side. It will give you better movement and comfort but they are not bulky by any means.

Bought these pants for my daughter for skiing. She wanted something in a blue or blue green color which was challenging to find. These pants fit great, appear well made, have zippers over the front pockets along with a side cargo pocket, and adjustable Velcro side straps. Not sure about how they will hold up or warmth because we haven't gone skiing yet but will update the review when we do.

Ladies I bought this as a gift for my wife, black, Women's Freedom Insulated Pants. She previously had a pair in that was too small, they were too small to wear layers underneath, defeating the purpose of the outer shell. After speaking with her, we bought a pair in the correct size, and now she can wear layers underneath, and they are now comfortable for her to wear. They are well made, they are not restricting, and in the cold Colorado wind and weather, they have been performing admirably. Just a thought ladies, when it comes to over pants that are meant to be worn in layers, order the correct size and stop worrying about what other people think. These are well worth the price, and we believe they will last more than a few years.

The best pants for snow!
They got perfect, they're stylish and give you the best movement unlike the extra tight ones or huge ones.
If you're going to ski or snowboard, these are definitely your pants!

Absolutely love the color and the fit! At 5'4" regular length is usually dragging on the ground for me, but I love that there was a short option! The pants are definitely well insulated so I'm not even the slightest bit worried about sub zero temps. Very excited to get back on the slopes and test these out!

I wore them to ski and they felt great. The waist would be more comfortable with some flexible material built into the back, vs. just relying on small velcro straps on the sides to adjust. I've seen this with other brands.

Warm pants. Wish they were higher waisted. My shirt became untucked. Also for me tight in the hips. But overall I'm happy
