Being 5' 2" and curvy, it's been a struggle finding snow pants that actually fit not only in size but length too. I tried on about 10-15 different pairs / brands that nothing can compares to this. I was instantly shocked that the pants offered availability in short it's something I never come across with snowpants before! I'm glad that I took the risk and went for it. I got the medium size, short and they fit great! The length is spot on, fits around the waist even for extra layering and the crotch area was not tight at all. I don't understand the other comments about pockets being an issues because not for nothing everything I carry always go in my coat pockets anyways so I have no use for pants pockets. Anyways, Thank you north face for such this amazing find !!

These pants fit perfectly! I was nervous ordering online, as our ski trip is less than a week away- but these arrived quickly, and met my expectations. I'm 5'8" and 122 lbs., I ordered a size S Long. They fit well around the waist, and the velcro belt is adjustable to make them perfectly snug. There is room for a base and mid layer if I need them, but the insulation feels pretty warm. I'm super happy with them. I'm so glad that I ordered directly from North Face, because the other online stores did not show Long length as an option. The extra length on these is wonderful. I'm used to my pants coming up super high on my ski boots.

Plan on using these pants for snow skiing in Canada...They fit great. I have freedom of movement for snow activities. I'm 5'10" 150lbs with an athletic build and the medium long fit perfect, with room for layering.

I am looking forward to use it on my next time skiing.

Use for snowmobiling & these are so Warm

Purchased for down hill skiing. Are true to size, well made, allow freedom of movement, waterproof. Wearing them tomorrow with my new NorthFace jacket!

I am so happy to find snow pants that are long enough for me (I am just shy of 5'11"). I haven't used them for skiing yet but am glad to have the zippered air vents, which will be great for spring skiing. Looking forward to using these for many years to come.

I use these for snowboarding and they have a great fit, very comfortable.

I'm 6' 150lb (slim/athletic) and the medium talks fit great. Could've gone with a small tall but the medium leaves plenty of room for layers underneath and extra mobility.

Looking forward to wear these on the slopes with my new lostrail jacket from north face. I didn't like the horizontal stripe on the lostrail pants, happy that these are exactly the same white as my jacket.

Used these pants for the first time out snowshoeing in rain and then snow, and they were great. Nice weight and at 6'1" I love the length.

Bought these pants for skiing, and other winter sports. They are warm, comfortable, and fit well. I bought the golden color, and love them! I am 5'7 and 110 lbs, and bought the XS regular. They fit perfectly, and I still have room to wear multiple layers if needed. The pants are pretty warm on their own with one layer, even on cold days. They're easy to move in, and are comfortable. The best snow pants I've ever owned.

I've been trying to find some comfortable snow pants as I am traveling to Alaska next month. These were the most comfortable pants that I tried on after trying 4 other brands.

I'm 5' 5" and in decent shape, in my 20s. The fit very well, I love the adjustable velcro straps on the sides! I downhill and cross-country ski frequently, these are great for downhill skiing. Very flexible and breathable but also warm. I've gotten many compliments on the color.

I wore these for two days of snowboarding and stayed warm and cozy. I spent a good amount of time on my knees/butt and didn't even get the tiniest bit wet. These were super comfortable. I could have worn them to bed! I also love that they come in tall. I am 5'11" and usually wear a 34" inseam. The only problem was that the seam on the right "cargo" pocket tore when I tried to undo the Velcro. I sent them back and ordered a new pair.

PERFECT FOR WINTER! It fits perfectly to the legs. My wife loved them and will use them a lot this winter

I got these pants because I needed a good storm pant. Warm and waterproof were the two major things I was looking for. Specifically in the Pacific North West, we get the wet heavy snow, and there's nothing worse than having your pants soak thru on a cold, wet day! I went up in size because I like to have extra room in my ski pants for layers. The pants have an adjustable waist and belt loops. I was able to adjust my waist to the perfect size because of this, but had more room for adding layers and free movement by going up in size. They are perfect! The mustard color is fun and I'm easy to spot on the mountain!

These pants are great on the slopes. They stay dry, keep me warm and are light enough to move around. I was a little surprised that they weren't looser as I wear a small everywhere else. I got a medium after and they were a little too loose but fit well with my butt pads.

Excited for pants long enough for me!

I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THE WOMEN'S FREEDOM INSULATED PANTS! They were given to me for Christmas from my husband. I am constantly outside and this is my first pair of insulated pants and they make such a HUGE difference in how long I can tolerate the cold weather. I will use these all winter long while watching my children compete outdoors as well as walking my dog!

1st, for Zappos, not the pants: great experience, came faster than expected, didn't even know I could buy snowpants from what I thought was a shoe store, same price as everywhere else and great to deal with. 2nd, for the pants: Size: I'm 5'11", ~130lb, usually a size 4L. I ordered a size Small Long. They fit really well, are shockingly long enough, and have velcro on the sides so you can make them more or less snug around the waist which works well for me since i fluctuate +- 10 lb throughout the year. I tried on a Medium in an REI store to confirm Small was the right fit and Medium was significantly larger so, if you're on the fence and could fit into a small based on the size descriptions on the northface website, go with small. Pros: The white (instead of black) buttons on the front makes them significantly more stylish, in my opinion, than the other styles/brands. They look significantly less hideous / shapeless than other snow pants I've tried on. The pockets are a good size and easy to access. They seem very warm and comfortable (will update once I've worn them skiing). Other reviews on different sites had said they were somewhat low-rise and that this fashion enhancement was impractical - I found them to be midrise, hitting right on my bellybutton, so this was a pleasant surprise. Cons: There are no butt pockets - this is probably fine since I'll be falling on my butt plenty but I appreciate pockets so it seemed like a little con. The material is incredibly staticky - I got white pants and have dark brown hair and, after 10 minutes of sitting folded on my counter, I lifted them up to find about 80 of my hairs clung to them. If you, like me, aren't trying to advertise how much of your hair sheds on a daily basis, this may be something to consider.

I have now got 2 pairs of the Freedom Pants for Snowboarding. The first pair has always performed brilliantly, been warm enough and extremely comfortable to snowboard in. I was very exciting when I ordered my second pair this year as I spotted that it comes in a Long Length and I wear trousers with a 36inch inside leg. Got the Pants and not only are they just as good as the first pair I bought 6 years ago, they are now the right length as well. Tried on lots of different brands before I bought these, men's and women's and these are by far the best fit.
