This is my second chatfield hill jacket. Previously bought in blue. Not too warm as a winter jacket. But when worn over fleece sweater and a puffer vest, is warm enough to use for hiking on rainy fall/winter days.

This jacket really fits true to size. Arm length is perfect and the length is just right. I like the weight of the jacket as well. Not to puffy and thick but keeps you warm. I also own this same jacket in the red plaid.

I just received this jacket and I'm very pleased! Fits great, looks great and is light but warm.

I bought this coat as a gift for my daughter. I looked at a lot of coats before buying this one. I choose this one based on my previous experiences with this brand. Excellent quality with attention to details. The drawstring at the waist let's you adjust the fit to your preference. It's a great neutral color. She loves it!

Fits true to size. The shoulders are not too tight. Doesn’t feel bulky, but keeps me warm.

I wanted a nice mid weight jacket for cooler weather. I have used it in 40 and 50 degree weather so and have been very pleased. We had a couple of blustery days here in Ohio and I was quite comfortable with the hood up. I really like the look of it too and highly recommend it. Columbia makes great quality products.

I love this jacket! Plenty of room for my unfortunately broad shoulders and growing baby bump. I bought it in the Elk colorway, and the color is super accurate to the images Columbia included in the product page. The leather accents are so cute and give the jacket a ton of character. The only thing that I could even remotely complain about is that the sleeves are just a bit long. Other than that-- perfect!

Overall nice jacket great light weight winter jacket. Now when the snow storm hits it'll get replaced by a heavier jacket. I got the olive and it is more of a hunter green and I was happy with the color, the picture on here makes it look kind of brown and it doesn't look that way in person.

This is a great season transition jacket. Great for fall and spring. The cinching at the waist makes it feminine and cute. Would buy again!

Purchased this coat for my winter trip to Chicago. Walked around with this on in some light snowfall and rain and it was great keeping me warm. I like the length - it hit a bit below my waist so my whole core stayed pretty toasty. Love the army green color, hood has a soft fleece lining and it's pretty water-resistant. Pockets are nice and big so they fit a bunch of my stuff and the cute drawstring in the middle helps cinch the waist if you want a more fitted look.

I absolutely love this jacket. I bought 2 in different colors. There is a plush lining inside to keep you warm. This is perfect for a chilly spring or autumn. The length is also great. It goes down to the hips and it is longer in the back. Perfect jacket for hikes or running errands.

I've been searching for a warm winter coat for a long time. I needed a coat that was light weight BUT warm because Nebraska winter's are cold. I also wanted the outer shell to be cloth because ski-type coats cause too much static electricity. This coat fit every requirement that I was seeking. I love the fact that this coat keeps the clean crisp fit even when my gloves are stored in the pockets. The draw-string waist is also flattering. The color looks sharp and the coat is tailored with a longer tail in the back. Perfect in every way! Honestly, the best coat thus far! I'm in love with everything!

I absolutely love this jacket I had to buy it in another color. It is the perfect everyday jacket. You can dress it up or down.

This jacket is amazing. The fit is very flattering. It keeps me dry in the rain. Although it is a light jacket, it is very warm and good for layering. I live in a very warm region, so it's good for mild winters and still good for the few extremely cold days we have. Would recommend.

This jacket is perfect for Southern California "winters". I'm originally from the Midwest where this would maybe be an "October" jacket, but it's perfect for December/January in San Diego. It's roomy enough to fit a light sweater underneath without feeling tight. I'm 5'2", 100lbs and the extra small is prefect. I wore it in a light rain and it kept me dry. This jacket is exactly what I was looking for, for San Diego winters.

This jacket is my new favorite Columbia product. I bought it for snow days this winter and it has not yet disappointed me. I'm able to stay warm in it, and it fits perfectly. I'm a tall gal so finding a nice jacket that is long enough (long torso problems) is extremely difficult, but this one did not disappoint. I'm a satisfied buyer!

This jacket is perfect for everyday. It is not the deep winter jacket, but more of a cold fall/winter jacket. It is true to size. I am 5.7" 160lbs and bought a large. I use a fleece or vest for layering for the really cold days. I used it by itself for 30-40 degree days and felt comfortable. I ordered the light stone color and it was true as the color advertised. This has become my go to jacket for the winter. No regrets.

I love this coat! I actually returned a similar Columbia coat for this one - definitely the right choice. I get cold easily so this won't be my warmest winter coat. It is good for the 40s or 50s in my opinion. Plus, you can still fit a sweater underneath.
