I'm 5'11 and 165 lbs and own a medium in Tui Heather.
Greate fit. The gusseted underarms add a lot to comfort and mobility. The face of the material looks like wool and the interior is very soft. Compared to other popular half-zip fleeces on the market, this is less bulky in fit and fleece weight. This makes it great for layering, in terms of fit and temperature regulation.
The only downside I've noticed is that the bottom tends to rollup in the front. But this wouldn't stop me from recommending or purchasing again.

Just bought this to travel to the mountanis with, on route I've had a city break and a few extra days at home with the family in France, it has hardly been off my back. Rain, shine, cool or cold, it is a real asset. Thanks.

Just received my covert 1/2 zip a few weeks ago and have worn it several times. I absolutely love it. It is so warm and comfortable and is so versatile in how it can be worn. It looks like a wool sweater but feels soft like fleece.

I got this for Christmas and I must say I have worn it every day since then. It is incredibly cozy for cold mornings when I first get up. The inside fleece material feels great against your skin. Then it just great for cruising around outside during the day in the 30-40 deg F range with a light base layer underneath. It also works great for lounging around inside as well. It really does a great job at breathing and regulating one's temperature. Size medium works great, 5'9" 170 lbs athletic build.

I have a government job and I'm outside all day. The arc'teryx products are the best. I live in Pennsylvania,Pittsburgh and the winter is very cold. This clothing line is not cheap but all I can say is you get what you pay for. They are the best. Can't add a photo because of my job but I love the clothing. Thank You. Deano Capristo KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. And HAPPY NEW YEAR

Very warm. Love the new flat seam construction and collar material that does not collect any lint or foreign objects. I am 6 ft tall, weigh 172 lbs, and the medium fits perfect.

I cannot complain overall a great fleece jacket! Use this fleece frequently the only problem to this is it's just a bit bulky when I pack it into my bag. Other then that I'd recommend it

This is the thing you want for hiking or running around town in the cooler weather. It's even nice-looking enough to wear on a date night, Very cozy and I have absolutely no complaints about this product. If you just want something comfortable and warm, pull the trigger on this.

Thank you Arcteryx for bringing back the half zip! I've been waiting years for this to happen. I'm also extremely pleased you are now offering XS sizes. At 5'8", 120lbs, this fits like it was tailored for me. I purchased 3 colors and plan on ordering another. I wear a quarter or half zip almost daily in the winter. This is as good as it gets. Couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend to anyone!

I had actually contacted Arc about this item a couple years back when it was discontinued. I asked if they had some stuffed away in a shed or warehouse, to no avail I was directed to the hoodie, vest or alternate item. I walked in a local shop and saw this on the rack, Medium (as all my Arc gear for the past 20 years). No way I was walking out without this one. I love it, took the kids to the pool last night (Michigan August a balmy 55) and threw it on this morning (48 at sunrise). Uber comfortable. It is slightly trimmer than the previous one I acquired, but that was at least 5 years ago, so it may have stretched. I'm athletic build; 5'9, 33 inch waist, 41 inch chest. 16 collar and 34 sleeves. Medium is spot on with a tee shirt underneath, a collared shirt might be too tight. Depending on desired use, sizing up may be a good idea.
Thanks Arc for bringing this back, please keep it available.

I bought this to replace a similar Arc'teryx fleece that lasted me some 15 years. The cut is - fashionably of course - somewhat trimmer than previously, so if you are in any doubt order a bit larger if you are planning to wear anything other than a thermal / t-shirt underneath. I am 88kg with big shoulders and the XL is a good fit. Nice, expensive looking heather pattern in green/ black. However, the breast pocket on the old model is no more - great shame as was good for a slim wallet etc. and the tiny shoulder pocket on this one is too small for anything useful. Overall a class fleece but pricy!

I have 5-6 prior versions of this pullover and this version has a different cut from the prior. Most notably, the sleeves are at least 1-1.5 inches longer than the prior version. I purchased a medium and the sleeve length is probably equivalent to a man 6'2" or taller.

Saw this on a review show quite a while ago, thought that it looked like the sort of jumper i would wear. On closer looking noticed it was Arcteryx and started searching. Glad i found it on the site again. Already have the full zipper version but sorry i prefer this version.
Fits well to the size and warm and comfortable. ideal for getting to camp and putting on by the evening fire.

Very nice product but I find that Arcteryx has some weird sizing and clothing cuts. I returned this item, fit nice but the front is shorter than the back and it wasn't jiving with my longer torso.

Bought a great product and was happy with the stitching and construction of the fleece.
After two washes there was visible piling on the sleeves and chest area. Warmth and look of the covert is the expected excellence from Arcteryx but was disappointed in the material and issues stated above. Hope this minor inconvenience is addressed.

This is a smart and initially great fitting fleece however it does have significant flaws that is surprising and disappointing coming from arc'teryx.
1. The edge piping rolls up and the garment does stretch a bit and looks baggy after 5 or 6 wearings;
2. Not that wind resistant;
3. It is best worn next to the skin as the inner face seems to grip base layers - cotton, merino etc so when removing this fleece you end up taking your base layer off as well - not good when outdoors on the hill.
Based on the above, it has been relegated to casual wear outings only.
Not a patch on my many other arc'teryx purchases over the years.

This is a great fleece, love the stitching, colors, and clean detailing.
Unfortunately on mine the waist hem has curled up and won't flatten out.
The fleece has not been washed yet so I know that is not the issue.Will be returning and will update if there are any changes.

This is such a strange sweater.
Initially I really loved it, great color and warmth, but after about a week I noticed that the bottom curls up around the whole sweater. I'll straighten it out, and voila it curls up again. I don't know enough about physics and clothing to understand why this happens, but it looks goofy, and anytime I wear it I'm constantly trying to straighten out the bottom 2" of the sweater.
I expected better from Arc'teryx.

Kudos for design, colors and insulation level. Good craftsmanship too. Fabric ruined it though. Piling started immediately, which I lived with, although not v.happily. 1 wash/line dry and not more that 30 wears after the purchase (~1 ago) there is a hole, in addition to piling. No external damage/misuse. Have another covert 1/2 Zip from years ago (still good), and 2 full zip cardigans, one of them bought around the same time as the item reviewed here. All good there. An unlucky specimen? Bought Arc' garments for over 15 years, haven't had an issue with fabric before. Unexpected.

I loved wearing it for the first 2 months and then the material started to wore out, the material used for this product was not the greatest compared to the other sweathers. Also the length of it was way too long for my body, the end kept rolling back up.

I bought the fleece about 2 months ago and the textile rapidly started to pill by only wearing it in my house or under my insulated jacket. It already looks like used.. I'm quite disappointed since it was my first try at Arcteryx product.
