Cold weather here, this makes a run much more comfortable. You hardly know you are wearing them they are so light.

I am happy with these pants. The light compression is comfortable and warm. I find the waist fits a bit tighter than other pants, so consider going up a size.

Use: Backcountry Splitboarding. Me: 6', 165 lb, 39" C 32" W. A little too bulky in fit, please add a trimmer fit option.

The fit is great, I use it as a base layer for hiking and as an undershirt on cold days. The material has a white knit on the inside and black on the outside which makes it look translucent. overall I like I would purchase this product again but in a different color combination.

I bought these to replace my pair of smartwool merino 250 bottoms because they had worn a hole in them these pants are a lot more durable and have nice ventilation in that parts that need it the most

Great for Cold Weather Adventures I've been using the Men's Intraknit Thermal Merino Base Layer Bottom for a few weeks, and overall, I'm very impressed. The merino wool blend provides excellent warmth and breathability, making it perfect for hiking, skiing, or any cold-weather activity. The fit is snug but not restrictive, and the seamless design prevents chafing during long wear. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the waistband could be a bit more comfortableit tends to dig in slightly after extended use. Other than that, these are durable, well-made, and worth the investment for staying warm and dry.

I like them. I wish they were a little longer in the legs, but they are very warm and very comfortable. I will definitely buy again

I am in good shape with wider shoulders and lats. The medium was too snug around my shoulders/lats and I had to return it. The medium in the classic thermal fit great. If your border line I would definitely size up on the Intraknit.

I run pretty warm, and I use this as my mid layer for skiing. It is light and comfortable and plenty warm for me with a merino undershirt and my ski jacket. It breathes and moves well, and I love that I can take off my jacket for a break and not smell like a locker room while in the lodge! My only complaint is that it sometimes snags on the Velcro closures on my jacket, leaving little fuzzy patches. But that's only mildly annoying. #sweepstakes

#sweepstakes. Unbelievably warm for the lightweight material. I wore this as a base layer under a light wind-breaker/rain gear and was warm in 50 F with 50-60 MPH winds. Great temperature regulation I was warm while sitting and not too hot while moving around. 4 stars because I personally thought the neck was too wide on the crew neck.

This is the best fitting base layer I've ever owned. The Slim fit hugs the body in all the right places without feeling too tight and moves perfectly with the body in outdoor activities. It is very comfortable to wear all day long and kept me warm in subzero temperatures. The durability has been good thus far, but I have yet to put it to heavy use. Only downside for me is the odor resistance is not as good as the NTS 250 baselayer, as this is a merino and polyester blend #SmartwoolLove

I bought a set for running. I wear a medium in Smartwool base layers, the medium for intraknit is a lot shorter. I returned it, and bought an extra large. Its best to buy two sizes up from the merino wool base layers you normally buy, at least for me. Its a little heavier than the other base layers, its also not full merino, its 50% polyester. It doesn't absorb sweat as much as the 100% merino base layers, this may be because it has polyester. I ran a few weeks ago in 5 degree weather for ten miles, it kept me warm, the layer was just damp from my sweat. Its good if you just want to use it for the cold weather, but you might want to use a 100% merino base layer fir running.

The elbows don't line up well. As for the bottoms...the knees line up well, but the tops...the elbows do not. Seems kinda strange. Also, the Small fit pretty snug and I'm a small in all other brands. I'd maybe size up to a medium.

My husband works outside most of the day, and at times needs to be very active . He he said it is comfortable to move in he doesnt feel restricted however his sweat dries and lingers in the fabric and he can smell it all day. If I could I would have bought him the 100% merino wool as he wanted the benefits of wool instead of his usual rotation of polyester base layers. I would recommend for outdoor sports, not for all day work..

I use this product as a base layer when fishing or hunting, and have worn it for casual daily use. This layer is too fragile to wear without something tougher worn over top, even for casual daily use. After the first day of use, loose threads started to appear in multiple locations on the garment. It would be an excellent piece of clothing if not for how easily it is damaged. It will be interesting to see how long it survives until it is no longer wearable. Comparable icebreaker merino layers over 10 years old have withstood casual and active wear much better.

I really wanted to like these leggings. I'm a huge fan of the Men's Intraknit Thermal Max Merino Base Layer Bottom and buy a pair every year for the last few years. When I didn't see it for sale this year I went to this other intraknit product. These leggings are stylish but theyre so thin. Its labeled as cold weather but it feels more like early winter cold, not deep winter cold. For context, I currently live in Alaska and have lived in snowy freezing parts of Colorado, Idaho, and California. Working and living in the woods and mountains. So my needs may not match everyone's needs. I need thermals that will perform all day consistently in heavy rain and snow. These are great for runs to the grocery store and under clothes for an extra boost. They will have to work as a layering. Which is unfortunate because the past intraknit products I purchased were amazing stand alone products. P.S. smartwool, love your plus size woman's items but they still do not hold up to your male products. Some of us plus size women work amd play in the outdoors for months of a time. Would adore it if you made more hard-core plus size products.

The waistband is far smaller and less flexible than any other medium I've ever purchased. It borders on uncomfortable. The length is perfect and every other part of the bottom is a perfect fit and very useful.
