So I bought this jacket and received it on November 10. Within less than two months of owning it, feathers started coming out and the threading was coming undone. Thankfully, the north face has excellent customer service and they allowed me to return it for a full refund being that I didn't even own it for 60 days. My guess is that this is an isolated incident as I didn't see any other reviews stating the same- so I just think this was a manufacturer defect. I ended up buying a different one, but I am sad because I truly loved this style. BONUS- it even made me look a little skinnier which is a big plus for a post partum mama!

Great for work or formal wear due to length of jacket.

Love it but it's not as warmth as I thought...just love the white Northface stamps on the jacket..it's stylish....my husband says it's overpriced but I am happy he got this for me using his Healthcare worker discount....

I wish the material was a little softer on the outside. Not as nice as other north face jackets. Fits tighter, but longer sleeves. If I ordered up, the sleeves would be way too long.

This coat has a nice shape and is pretty. I've owned other North Face coats. They seem to be getting smaller especially in the bust. I am not big busted but also not small. The sleeves on all of the coats this year are so long even in size small. So they are tighter with longer sleeves! My last one was an extra small this one a medium. Doesn't make sense to me.

This is not stylish enough. Was looking for a down coat that is not too puffy, warm and stylish enough to be worn in the evenings. Am sure it's a very nice coat otherwise but I returned it. Also there are WAY too many options and it's really hard to figure what the differences are. Even the north face staff cannot explain. When I asked they said "all of them are basically the same" which makes no sense.

I love the product except for the size. The XS is too fit and S is a bit loose. Otherwise it's so light and feels warm. But still feel it's worth the price

So far this coat proved to be warm. Wore it in a 32 degree weather with a sweater underneath, did not feel cold at all. Wore it later in a day, when it got to 45, felt a little bit too warm. This jacket is stretchy but does restrict movement a little bit. Material is not as soft as thermoball or other jackets i had in the past, and it does make some noise when moving arms while walking. Does feel true to size. I am 5' 8 and around 125. pounds, got a Medium. It is a slim fit. Arms are a good length, I usually have problems with Medium being short in the arms, but Large too big everywhere else in other styles. Pretty sure, large in this coat would be too big. With a sweater feels pretty snug, without sweater feels good. North Face logo is not stitched as on my previous coats. Would have preferred the material to be a bit softer, as I can always feel the neck being itchy while the hood is on. Nevertheless, so far it served the purpose to keep me warm and looks stylish.

Ordered this because I have been searching for a longer, down jacket for some time. Most seem bulky and overwhelm my body. This has a slimmer fit, so it's not quite and huge as other parkas. I like the fact that I can move freely in this jacket. This is a must for me. I typically wear a small in North Face, but I prefer a medium in this due to the slimmer fit. It's a little longer than I had hoped for, but it's still shorter than majority of the other parkas out there. Overall, pretty darn good and am looking forward to wearing it this winter. For reference, I am 5'4" and 125lbs.

This is the 2nd North face jacket I ordered, and am returning. The first was a medium, fit fine but appeared to have been worn (white cuffs were dirty). I ordered this jacket in a Large and it too small over sweaters. Not worth the price you pay for the "name" IMHO.

This coat is warm and it fits nicely. However, it looks cheap. There is nothing distinguishing it from a jacket you can get for 1/3 the price.

I like the style - very flattering. However, I returned the XS for the small and kept the small but it's a little too big even though it said slim fit. It was labeled as "warmest" but it is not as warm as a NF coat I have had for years.

This item was returned because of size issues. I felt it was too small. I have not heard back from the company nor received a refund.

I tend to be a medium to large size and thought I was getting a size up (L). When I received it, the coat was very snug, even on the wrist area. I would be unable to use a sweater or anything underneath. 4 weeks later, still waiting on my credit. Returning has been a complete hassle.

Seemed to run a bit small. I think the water repellent technology makes the coat very loud when the material rubs against itself.

Beautiful jacket but unfortunately the wrong size. I had to return it. I would recommend it but suggest buying a size larger than you normally wear.

This jacket was warm and high quality but bulkier than I was looking for. I need something I can move around in to chase my kids in the cold and keep me warm as a teacher on recess duty. This wasn't quite it.

What i ordered and what arrived were not the same. There isn't a white stitched enblem, but an iron-on looking emblem that is the same color as the coat,. The coat is very thin for the winter. I will be returning this coat.

I really wanted to love this coat, it's lightweight but warm. However, it was way too fitted in the midsection. I'm 5' 116 lb, athletic body type (big butt and thighs). XS was too tight, sleeves on S were too long. I went with the Metropolis Parka instead, which is what I had last time. It's fitted in the waist but has room elsewhere.

Yikes! Def not an XL winter coat for me. Would’ve been great to know this was considered “slim style”. I live in MI & need to be able to wear a sweater or polar fleece sweater under my jacket. There’s no room for that with the slim fit. Definitely a comfy jacket & the stretch was nice but I’d def say order up a full size (esp if you’re full figured like me) if you want to wear more than just a shirt underneath. If you have no need to wear a sweater underneath then this might work for you.
