Shopping for my extra wide feet is always a chore. These shoes are exactly what I needed. Slipped on with no problem, will be easy to break in as they’re very comfortable.

This shoe has a lot of cushion, and has good stable support. I can fit my orthotics in it. The velcro strap makes it easy to adjust, with no worries about laces coming untied.

It's one of 2 brands I can buy because of problem feet. Worked for me from Day 1. I haven't needed any "warm up" time and wear them all day long. I'm especially appreciative of the velcro straps. I'm not a runner, just a walker.

Brooks is made for my feet. I have loved this shoe for years, but this time I thought I should try a cheaper shoe. I ordered 2 different sizes of Propet walkers and both went back. Then I turned to Brooks again. This was jinx on me time as first they sent Men's instead of Women's, but finally I am so happy! The 8.5 extra wide is just what I need for winter with heavier socks and sometimes one of those toe warmers. Old feet are prone to frostnip and frostbite and that happened to me this winter. Now I am prepared for next winter! It does not pay to go cheap for your feet. (I am not as pleased with the new more sporty style as I have to wear these for all occasions, but they will work)

I ordered the Addiction Walker V-Strap 2 to use after rotator cuff surgery. I knew using a velcro strap shoe (like kids who can't tie their shoes) would be useful as I gained arm and shoulder mobility. I am so glad i did. My recovery will be long, and this shoe provides substantial support while I walk and become confidently mobile again. A good buy for the injured or mobility-restricted.

I have a friend who has recommended Brooks to me for years and this is the first time I have tried them. I should have listened to her earlier. Love the "no tie". I average walking 12,000 steps a day 7 days a week. I do wish I had ordered a size larger than my usual size 5 1/2. My big toes touch the end just a little which I have never had in a shoe before. Great walking shoe.
