Great foot support for all day

Nice & comfy, just like their lace-up shoes. Wore them all day the day after they arrived. The Velcro held nicely & was easy to adjust.

These shoes are true to size, and they accommodate my orthotics. I have had this same shoe in the past with laces, which I actually prefer, but the velcro makes it easy to put these on quickly. This shoe has the most cushion of any Brooks shoe that I have worn, and provides good stability for my knees.

To make my longer (4.5 mile) walks more comfortable, I've taken to wearing thicker socks from Darn Tough Vermont. The socks are great. Trouble is, the toes are so well padded that they felt cramped in by the walk's end. What to do? Either dump the socks or buy larger shoes. As vain as I am, it took me about 5 months to admit that I should do that. I ordered 1/2 size longer shoe and left the width as it has been (B). Comfort has won over vanity. I'm taller in the shoes, too. Style plays a small part when shoes encourage walking. After all, people who keep moving keep moving.

This is the third pair I have of them.They are the best for my back pain.

Big improvement over the older model. More cushioning for the ball of my foot, the tongue lays better, the top strap is longer and just feels better on my foot. The toe box is slightly more narrow but I think that is an improvement. My foot is weird and a size wide is to narrow but a EE is to wide. I did replace the insole with a pair of downunders but the ones that come with the shoe are better than the previous model. Still a clunky show but all in all a happy woman with happy feet.

Love these shoes at 82 yrs I need support and comfort

I liked the convenience of the velcro fastening. Felt shoe ran 1/2 size too small in the toe area.

The width and length were fine (Wide 7.0) but I found the material too stiff especially at the back of the heel. It came up to high and I could feel it rub instantly. I am afraid these are being returned. I have been wearing Brookes Ghost since #12 and would have ordered the latest in that style but I wanted an all white shoe and currently they are not available

Nice shoe just too narrow

Love the style and the ease of the velcro straps. They're very heavy for walking shoes and I don't expect to get a lot of miles from them since it feels like extra work. Because of the thick soles and material, they're also very warm.

This shoe fit well as I took Zappos advice and ordered up a half size. Nice study shoe. However I tend to pronate toward the outside with my shoes and need a strong external edge support. I didn't feel these provided that support. Otherwise a good shoe.

I just didn't like the style....for me, the New Balance velcro sneakers looked better.
