These shoes looked good, but I had to return them because they slipped up and down on my heels no matter how tightly the velcro was adjusted.

I have the same shoe in white and beige. A size 8 fits fine. The black one runs small. The 8 is too small and the 8 1/2 is a bit too large

I bought this style 3 years ago and it fit fine. My shoe size has not changed. But my new pair is wider over the heel. No amount of tightening the strap solves the problem. My heels rise out of the shoe even when I wear the heaviest of socks. I hoped that this would be a temporary problem, but it has not changed. I wish this shoe would be sized a real B/AA, rather than Medium.

I have bought Brooks shoes for over 10 years. This is the first pair that make noise when I walk.

I am disappointed in them. They are heavy and clunky. The Velcro doesn't pull the shoe tight enough. I should've returned them.

Seem terribly stiff and clunky. I'm 85 and have been wearing Brooks running shoes for 30+yrs. Arthritis in my hands nowVelcro straps very hard to fasten. I put them back in the box til I can take them to my orthotics appointment to see if they can be softened and thus be more flexible.

These were not what I was expecting. They are, for me, really stiff. BUT, Brooks return policy is terrific. Seamless and easy, and prompt processing of my refund. Thank you Brooks !

I need a wider size but they said I had to try them for awhile before I could return them. I really wear a wide/D. The ones I ordered hurt my feet because they are not wide enough. It was my fault for not ordering wider. I would like to exchange these as they were very expensive.

The shoe seems very wide and the velcro straps are not particularly useful unless one can't tie her own shoes. But that's what the straps are for, I assume. Also, the shoes--especially the tongues--squeak like crazy. Really dislike that and I only wear them at home because of that.

I have been purchasing the Addiction Walker for 15 yrs. and never had a problem with them..... until my last pair . In fact, they are my 'every day' shoes (shopping, walking, cooking, etc.) I even have all 3 colors in this shoe. I usually buy a pair every 10 months. Last Fall 2021, I purchased a pair of Black Addiction Walker V-strap, but did not start to wear them until February 2022. Since they were made of leather, I felt that they just needed to be "worn in" After three months wearing these shoes, they are still hurting my foot. I am 78 yrs. old and surely my foot has not grown. I believe that Brooks has changed their manufacturer in cutting this shoe. I always took a size 9.5 M and I probably need a size 10 M on this shoe now. Unfortunately, I do not have the Brooks shoe box nor receipt to exchange these shoes for another pair.

Not as cushiony under the toes & ball of foot as I had expected. I had to put in a Dr Shoals pad. A bit wide across the ball of the foot. Still trying to make them comfortable with different socks. Expensive for a poor fit but I'll keep trying to make them comfortable.

1. I already did this when I returned them. 2. I've bought these for years, in the same size and now they are too short. 3. The new material in the inner heel pulls my socks down into the shoe.
