I bought these shoes for my husband who is a plumber and is on his feet constantly. His feet got too hot in them, so we decided to return them.

Best shoes for flat feet I've ever owned. But they have one MAJOR flaw; that little part of the sole that flips up and is glued to the shoe's front end. I've owned these for 10 months (less than a year) and they are coming unglued. Everything else looks great; event the tread still loods new. I only wear these for work in the hospital. I wear sandals EVERYWHERE so my Brooks walkers stay in my car. I switch from the sandals to the walkers before I go in and switch back when my day is over and I walk to my car where I put the Brooks on the floorboard and put my sandals back on. So the only wear they really get is walking around in the hospital. Brooks, you need to fix that. I've read another review similar to mine so you guys should consider this. The shoe GREAT, the sole GREAT, the look GREAT, the support for my pronation and flat feet GREAT. But for the price that front end issue is unacceptable. Fix it, and you've got the World's Greatest walking shoe of all time throughout the history of manking. You're so close Brooks; be the first to accomplish this almost impossible feat (pun intended).

I miss the brown swede version Brooks sold years ago. These were supposed to be double e width. They are narrow and off by a lot.

If they fit your feet, these are high-quality shoes well worth purchasing. After more than three weeks of regular use, I found these shoes to be too stiff overall, likely due to the solid leather uppers and/or the construction of the soles. However, my biggest issue with these shoes is that although the width (medium 1D) and sizing (10.5) feels correct, the toe box tapers too much and is too narrow, especially for my flat left foot. I can easily see the difference when comparing these shoes with other pairs that I own that have a more roomy toe box. I will be returning these within the next few days and already have ordered a pair of Adrenaline GTS 22 shoes as a replacement. Based on the available online information, these are apparently excellent walking (not just running) shoes.

I bought these for my husband. They are his everyday work shoe. He always loved them before the new sole design. He says this new type of tread is very difficult to clean out and are slick if the ground is wet or muddy. But they still wear really well and give him excellent foot support.

Comfortable shoe but not slip resistant at all. I bought these to work in (Chef) but it?s impossible because they are very slippery. I wear them around the house now. 140$ lesson learned.

The bottom of the shoe is the same as the laced version. I thought I would try the velcro version for ease of use should my hands lose soem dexterity in the future. Unfortunately, the pull point on the wings of the shoe that draw it tight on the sides are fewer and this means it doesn't conform/fit as snugly on the side of the foot. Having the pull points more overly distributed along the wings & tongue definately results in a better fit and a more comfortable walk, especially if you walk a lot daily. If you can, I recommend getting this shoe in the laced version.

The shoes are very good and very heavy. They don't have the spring of a running shoe, but they do give strength and support. I was once a runner, albeit not a fast one. Not walking is a challenge, and these shoes make it better.

I’ve worn Brooks for over 10 years and I’m disappointed in these. They run a smaller in size and seems stiff and not as comfortable.

They fit small - a little too short, a little too narrow - thought they "break-in" a little; not so ... well-made though ...

I have tried many different brands of shoes and I don't find brooks to be much better or worse than similar priced shoes from any other brand.

They are nice enough shoe, though the tongue is not wide enough to keep it from moving to one side.

The heel was much too wide, and my right foot bumped up against the toe box. Just no shaped for my feet. Not for someone with average heel width.

The right shoe is smaller than the left shoe, which is very uncomfortable. This is the first time I've encountered a problem like this; I have ordered about eight or nine pairs of these shoes.
