I love Brooks. I have great running shoes from them and was hoping to find a great and comfortable work (slip resistant) shoe from them as well. Unfortunately this was not it for me.
The shoe is all leather and is very sturdy. The "slip resistance" is not up to par to use behind a bar/food service environment, you will slip. Additionally, while they are very sturdy they take a LOT to break in to actually be able to move with your feet comfortably. I was in more pain than usual at the end of my shift every weekend day which I was hoping a great pair of Brooks would alleviate. These are not like their running shoes. If you do order these and already have a pair of Brooks, size up a half size.

Purchased these hoping they'd be better than my Hokas and they weren't. I have a wide foot and was looking forward to trying their extra wide size as Hoka doesn't offer it in womens sizes. The toe box was too narrow for me and squished my foot anyway. Even the normal wide with Hoka was better fitting than these. They also felt awkward to walk in when I tested them at home, so unfortunately this shoe was a no go for me.

I’ve worn Brooks Addiction Walkers for years. The fit of these have changed completely. They are much smaller than they used to be. I already wear a WW size, so I can’t “size up”. Very disappointed. I won’t buy Brooks again.

I have bought many pairs of Brooks Addiction Walkers in the past and loved them, with the exception of the tread peeling away from the toe area. However, the Addiction Walker 2 is an awful shoe. It is squeaky, uncomfortable, and ugly. For some bizarre reason Brooks decided to imprint the leather with what appears to be an attempt to make them look like athletic shoes. One of the nice things about the older style was that they were super comfortable and looked a little bit dressier. Why change a good thing? If people want athletic shoes, then they will buy athletic shoes. Dumb move on the new look Brooks!

I got a 9.5 and it was much too big so I returned and ordered a 9 and that was too tight. The difference in this shoes half size was unbelievable. The 9.5 looked like a clown shoe and the 9 like a child's shoe. I am too stubborn to send them back AGAIN and have lost a big toe nail because of it. I like the shoes they're cute and comfy but the sizing sucks. Big sad.

Have only been wearing my shoes about five weeks but are coming apart. The rubber that wraps up the front tip of shoe is pulling away from shoe. Trying to glue back. Sad because fit great and are very comfortable. Wear to work at convenience store. Just don't know how much longer before they come completely apart.

So disappointed! I have worn Brooks Addiction Walkers (Black), in Women's Size 11 for more years than I can even remember! Over 25 years?? Always Loved them, straight out of the box! UNTIL..... They have changed the style/size - something!- and these Addiction 2's are awful! I am SOO disappointed! They now seem a whole size too small, and ordering the larger size just gave me a shoe that still slipped up and down on my heel and felt wrong in the toe box. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL WAY - and don't ruin a good thing! I would love recommendation for overpronation, which is what brought me to these shoes in the first place. 25+ years is a long time, to now NOT know what shoes will work, or to buy! Bad call, Brooks~!

I work retail and am on my feet all day, everyday and have relied on my Brooks Addiction 1 for over ten years to get me through the day. Now I have a pair of Brooks Addiction 2 and my feet are in agony. Please, please bring back the old design or tell me where I can find a pair.

These shoes fit well but were entirely too heavy. TOO heavy!!! I wore them for one walk and immediately purchased a different shoe. They are sitting in my closet and as soon as I can justify the guilt, they will be disposed of.

Returned shoes today. Tried to adjust to the newest look but toe bed too narrow for me. I loved my "old" Addiction Walkers but not these. I will give it one more try and order a half size larger to see if it makes a difference. Have very flat feet which are narrow so I liked the snugger heel. Don't run and used these strictly for walking which I do daily. Am hopeful the larger size will do the trick as my old ones need to be replaced.

Terrible experience. All I have worn is Brooks Addiction. They changed them. Not a good move. So far, I have been through five purchases just to get one pair that fit fairly well. Very disappointed.

I ordered this in my true size and a full size up. True size fit the length of my feet, but the toe box was too narrow, despite being EE/WW width. Full size up fit the width, but my heel slipped in the heel cup, which seemed too short.

I'm a huge fan of Brook's and have 3-4 pairs that have been great over the years. I thought these would work out perfectly for a 4 day universal studios/epic trip with tons of walking. I wore them around the house, treadmill, dog walks and thru the airport. They never made the cut for the parks. No matter which socks or different insoles i tried. The sole was so think that i could not get any real grip or traction. The heel was too wide and made my ankle feel very loose and unsupported. I will be returning these.

I love these shoes! Not only are the cute and functional, but it is hard to find fully white shoes- so these are perfect to match whatever outfit. They were true to size. And as always with Brooks, feel like I'm walking on air.

I love this shoe but the sizes run small. I need a 10-1/2 instead of a 10. I returned the black shoe but will purchase a white shoe soon since spring is so near. I love the style of this shoe and although it ran a little small, I could tell that it is very comfortable.

I bought these shoes because I have a current health condition that makes my gait unsteady. As soon as I put on the shoes, I felt like my feet were cradled and supported far more than other good shoes I had tried. They easily accommodate my insole inserts. The shoes are true to size and width and are flexible to allow good foot motion while reducing foot fatigue. The leather is high quality making it a handsome shoe that is appropriate for work, the gym or casual use.
