I do not like that Brooks made changes to their leather sneakers. Removing the leather tongue was a mistake. It is not enough cushion in the tongue and it is very uncomfortable. Otherwise the shoe is fine. However if I find another sneaker with the same support I will no longer be purchasing this brand sneakers.

Not as good as Addiction I, why change a good thing?

I have worn Brooks Addiction Walkers for decades; it has been an automatic reorder for me. This time around I had no choice but to order the Addiction Walker 2, and I am sad to say that I must find another shoe. It simply does not have the support that the previous AW gave my feet. The resulting twinges in my feet after an hour of exercise have sent me back to my (very worn out) old pair. I hope that I can connect with another brand soon. I give these Addiction 2 shoes a 3-rating because they are probably better than many other shoes, but unsatisfactory for me compared to the original Addiction Walker.

i purchased these through an on-line shoe "store" (unfortunatley I did not know I could buy them direct). The Left one is fine. The right one needs arch support--after walking for about 1.5 miles, my right foot turns in, causing muscle pain on the inner top, lower ankle, and my hip to be out of alignment. Brooks was highly recommended by many people. If the right sneaker fit the same as the left, I'd give 5 stars. Do you have any suggestions on how to alleviate this?

I have been buying Brooks for several years and this new Addiction 2 has hurt my feet horribly. Leather doesn't seem to soften up like the Addiction 1

If you order these shoes, please order at least a half a size larger than you usually wear. I usually wear a 9 and had to return them. I then ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit better. Since they are leather, they will stretch. Otherwise they are very comfortable shoes.

I had to return it because the toe box is too narrow. I find that ghost is the only one that fits well at the toe box.

I bought this shoe in black and liked it so much decided to buy a pair in white while they were still available. The white shoe seems to have less arch support but still was a good fit overall. However, after wearing the shoes for a couple of days there is a very noticeable squeak when walking! I don't know if there is a way to remedy this problem. If I hadn't worn the shoes, I would have returned them. Very disappointed in this pair!!!

I wore these walkers for about the last 3 years---ordered another 2 pair for the next walking season, took them for a short walk and ended up with a blister on the front of my toe- the shoe was short, tight, and the most uncomfortable shoe i have ever used in my life--wont be coming back--too bad because I really loved them

PLEASE bring back the Addiction Walker in the Bone color!! I have worn this shoe for years, but I am a birder and don't want to look like I am either going to work at a fast food establishment or going to play a game of tennis! I am afraid you will lose me as a customer if you don't make the old color. Help, Brooks! The world is crazy enough. We really want our shoe color right!

Shoes squeak constantly when I walk. The leather material does not move well with my feet. Need larger selection of narrow widths. Prefer the Ghost 14 pairs of shoes I have had before even though I am NOT a runner.

I have bought this style shoe since they came out. I walk almost daily 1/2 miles fir exercise and have done marathon walks and other fitness activities and this style shoe has never let me down, perfect out of the box. Now it has changed. The toe box is too tight requiring me having to stretch it and it has developed a creaky sound with every step. Why did Brooks change perfection into misery?

your wide size does not give enough room in the toe box area. normally I loved the shoes but lately not wide enough for me

Love the shoe but I would like if it were available in colors other than black and white. I'm not a runner. These are for daily wear & walking. Would like a to see more variety in color. Maybe a light grey, or chestnut or deep red? I'm limited to what works best with my orthotics and these are perfect but boring. Just sayin.... maybe other people with similar foot issues feel the same.

I am very disappointed in the Brooks Addiction Walker 2. It isn't as comfortable, and seems much flimsier, lacking the support of the original Walker. Both my podiatrist and my trusted shoe salesperson commented that the quality seems to have gone way down. I'm also disappointed that Brooks discontinued the Bone color for the women's Walker; it was a very nice alternative to the dead-white athletic shoe look, and didn't show the dirt.

Disappointed in this revision of the Addiction Walker series. Squeaks when walking, toe box is tighter and less comfortable than the original shoe design, the side of the shoe places pressure on the outside of the foot in a place less comfortable than the original Addiction Walker shoe. Purchased this version because the original Addiction Walker series was no longer available. Have always wondered why a good-thing has to be revised just because.... I would fire the person who suggested an update.

I have worn the Brooks Walker for years and loved the support and comfort. These shoes felt short even though I went 1/2 size up. They just didn't have the support across the instep and heel area that I found in my old Brooks Walkers.

Was very disappointed about the new style, feel, and smell! It smells as if it was plastic instead leather. Okay, I know it's not a stylish shoe but why making it worse that the original shoe was? However, I return this shoe for a larger size and try again. These shoes look gigantic! But I need to fit in orthopedics and it also seems to be the only slippery resistant shoe I can find.

These shoes feel like a dream and I've walked many miles since I got them. However, the first time around Zappos sent me dirty shoes, they had clearly been worn outside. Their returns are not as easy as they were years ago, and I am pretty disappointed. They used to enclose a return label, but because I was sent dirty shoes that were clearly used, I had to call them which is never convenient. If I am paying this amount for shoes I expect them to be brand new. I won't order from Zappos again, seems like they don't check items that were returned to make sure they are fine to sell. If I wanted used shoes, I would go to the thrift store. Zappos did make it right, but it should not happen in the first place.

I wore the shoes (outside) TWICE. The material is hard, and not comfortable.at all. There is no absorption in the soles. It's like walking on car tires, ie, hard rubber. I'm a senior and I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe for my morning walks... This isn't it. I'll have to find someone to give them to or donate them to charity.

They cut into my heels. Had a hard time getting them on. The material seemed a bit shoddy. Won't order this brand again.

Shoe squeaked. I returned them. I have worn this style exclusively for about 4 years. The shoes are not what they used to be.

It is not narrow enough in the heel! You have been cheating up for several years now. I mean the heels are getting wider and there is significant slippage unless I wear very thick socks. Even then they can slip. Also, why do you have to make them look like old lady orthopaedic shoes? Why can't you make them look more sporty with some fun color choices? I have a very difficult time finding shoes that really fit my narrow heeled feet. Yours have consistently been the best and most comfortable until the last few years. Please review the sizing and make the walking shoes as appealing as the running shoes.

Ii was super excited in thinking I had picked the right Brooks shoe as a daily wear. I have Plantar Fasciitis and Pronation. When trying the shoes they were so stiff inserted of offering support and added comfort for my knees which are bad, I felt like I was walking g like Frakenstien. Very stiff legged. I wore them for a short time to get a true feel for them. The next day my back ached and well as my legs. They were not tge shoe for me.and as far as moderately cushioned , I felt they were hard.
