My wife put them on and the the first words from her mouth was "they're so comfortable and I love them ". Thanks for making a comfortable shoe that helps with her feet problems.

I love them for walking, and wearing all around the house and outdoors all day long. They are my primary shoe and I really appreciate how durable they are!! I wear them most all the time every day for months before I need to reorder. When that time comes, I order the same shoe. I'm a big fan for sure!!

For many years the Addiction Walker was my only footwear but I was cautiously optomistic about the changes. The inside blue cushion is good but the sizing is off somehow - I'm usually an 8W but now my great toes hit the top/end of the shoe! 8.5s feel clunky and my orthotics slide forward. Wish some of Brooks many designers would adjust the sizing part back to the old way.

They are wider than the Addiction Walker 1. In addition they don't feel as supportive. The Addiction Walker 1 is a firmer shoe.

I am 80 years old and I do not run, but I have a problem with my balance. Brooks shoes really help me with my balance as I walk through my day

I got more ankle support from last years. I only walk in them though.

Does not seem to be as well made as the original Brooks Addiction walker which I found effective, attractive and sturdy. The key element that I find disappointing is the seam on top of the front toe box. This seam is likely to cause problems and I cannot understand why anyone would deliberately design the top this way! A second negative feature is the that overall the shoe feels less sturdy.

These are my favorite shoes. They fit perfectly. The only change I'd really like to see is to add some color. Is there any dye or paint that I can safely apply to these shoes?

It was very comfortable but not slip resistant on a commercial kitchen floor. Wow! I went to Brooks because they make an awesome sneaker. These gave me support but could slide across a floor. I wouldn’t recommend for kitchen work.

Does not have the support like they used to. Seems soft and a bit floppy. I do not run, I am on my feet all day and usually the Brooks addiction are comfortable and I can go and go, but these not so much. My feet are tired at the end off the say.

I loved them. Very comfortable and lightweight. I hope they go down a little in price because I would like to buy another pair.

I was worried about changes in a shoe I have worn for 15 years. They were the only shoes that don't hurt my feet. I loved the comfort of the new Brooks Addiction Walker but the toe room is too short. Unfortunately I will have to return them. I really don't think the next size will work, but I'll try because I really depend on these shoes.
I'd also recommend:

I have been wearing this shoe for many years. My podiatrist gave me a prescription for these after foot surgery I999. Now I wear them all the time. No running though. Just a comfortable walk.

I?m not a runner. I am an elderly person who walks a lot. My Orthotist recommended Brooks Addiction to me years ago and I keep buying them because they?re great. They?re true to size. As my feet become larger (more spread out) with age, I just buy a size or size-and-a half larger every 2 or 3 years. Their quality is good. Price is a little higher than I would like to spend, but I also don?t want inferior shoes. I prefer to keep walking as I age.

This shoe size 8 is the exact same length as my older 7.5 Brooks leather walker - so I have to return - since my foot grew. I also do not like the insert - the arch is too high - good arch support does not means it supports your arch, but does not mean it is so high that it hurts and your arch is support your body weight. I called and unfortunately Brooks no longer sells replacement inserts since with a different insert it could be quite a good shoe - or if you have high arches - I have average.

Liked the original Addiction walker better. Tread is not as good as the original. Doesn't provide the support I need. Probably will not buy again. Also cost more.

Tried half size larger since my regular size felt way too small. New order felt better overall, but was too large on the heel and I kept slipping out. Will return also this pair and give up on this model.

I like the shoe. The toe compartment is not as wide as the addition walker in the past.

The redesign does not work for me. Specifically, the back of the upper shoe rubs on the back of my ankle. The 2 protrusions are placed closer together than on the original version. I'm very disappointed and now I'm at a loss for shoes that fit me. New is definitely not better.

Was very disappointed about the new style, feel, and smell! It smells as if it was plastic instead leather. Okay, I know it's not a stylish shoe but why making it worse that the original shoe was? However, I return this shoe for a larger size and try again. These shoes look gigantic! But I need to fit in orthopedics and it also seems to be the only slippery resistant shoe I can find.

Not as comfy as my Ariels. Seems a little wide. Leather uppers are warmer than Ariel mesh uppers this time of year. Once weather is just a little warmer, I am back to my Ariels.
