Very heavy shoe. Much heavier than other brooks shoes I own. I returned this pair.

I reviewed my New Balance leathers tennis shoes and that review is the same for this shoe but I forgot to look the tongues don’t cover the foot under the laces. Where are the quality shoes? I’m willing to pay but can’t find them.

Full disclosure - I returned these. I own several other pairs of Brooks shoes, so ordered these in the same size. They were about a half size too small.

These are the most horrible work shoes I have ever bought. Who would design shoes with a large thick seam on both sides of the heels? The seam immediately rubbed the side of my heel raw. Also within a few minutes my feet were soaked in sweat. The upper portion on the shoes is made of a thick, non-breathable rubbery plastic. The insoles were stiff and hard with very little cushion. The sides of the shoes around the ankles seemed too high and stiff and dug into my ankles. The size seemed correct, that is about the only positive thing I can say about these shoes.

The shoe looks nice but not very comfortable for my feet and the worst part about them is that they are noisy every step sounds like rubber ducks on both feet so I was like ok just need to break them in but no they still noisy.

The fit was great for a 9N but when I walked the heel slipped up and down. They are also big and clunky looking.

I have no issues with the comfort of these shoes but, in my case, they were not slip resistant. Not suitable for restaurant work.

These shoes are not fully slip resistant. If you need them for work in a restaurant kitchen I would not purchase.

I work at a restaurant and at first they were the opposite of "slip resistant" but it definitely got better over time. They're giving me blisters, I think they might be more slim than normal brooks running shoes (which didn't give me blisters).

They don't seem to have the support as the 1st Addition Walker which I'd been buying for years. My feet are sore when I get home. They also squeak when you walk.

I was really surprised of how uncomfortable these are.. they gave much such pain in my arches and pain on both side of ankles! Wishing I could get a refund! No go.

I am on my feet quite a bit and was looking for a good comfortable shoe. Several people who I work with recommended Brooks. I purchased a walking shoe rather than one designed for running, but am quite disappointed. They are not nearly as comfortable as some of my much less expensive shoes. I also had forgotten how hot ones feet can get in a leather shoe. I definitely would not order these again.

It is the second pair of Addiction 2 I have gotten. They are not nearly as supportive as the Addiction 1s that I bought in all 3 colors for many many years.

Extremely hard to clean tread......don't step in mud or dog doo. The grit retained in the tread will destroy your floors.

I have worn Brooks Addiction Walker for years and loved them. Unfortunately they have changed the style and no longer offer the beige color I prefer. I thought I could live with the white but it is just too white and will be difficult to keep clean in no time. Not sure what shoe I will find to replace my walking shoe. I do like Asics but I need leather!

they squeak, am sending back. the material on tongue changed causing squeaking. They make way too much noise when I walk in them. I have worn Brooks Addiction Walkers for many years and have always loved them. Can's stand these.

Like the other two pairs of shoes I bought along with these, these were much too short to be a true 9-1/2. Given the shoes' cost, I wouldn't have expected that they would be so skimpy.

Really miss the original Addiction Walker - the Addiction 2 is not nearly as comfortable or supportive - feels like a cheap version of the Addition Walker - any chance you will bring back the original shoe?

I decided to read some reviews first, and was surprised to see so many customers stating my complaints. I have worn the Addiction Walker for 15+ years because I need a supportive shoe that comes in a narrow width. My orthopedic doctor said they were the best. I would get 2 or 3 pair every year and was always happy when the salesperson came out with the same old shoe, no changes. Until this year. The salesman assured me the changes were minimal and mostly cosmetic. I totally disagree! As others have commented, the shoe does not fit the same. There was nothing wrong with the shoe that needed fixing. I am fortunate that my shoe store has a great return policy, as I may have to return them. I am not sure what I can get instead, since there are not many other brands available in narrow sizes. Just please bring back the original design for your loyal customers! I also miss the bone color.
