I think the shoe size runs small. Or the design is such that it pushes my toes to the front of the shoe. Other than that they are comfortable.

My feet often hurt. I bought the wide , but had to buy the widest width later. It hasn't helped. The balls of my feet hurt constantly, because the padding has thinned so much from walking on them for years as a nurse. My podiatrist recommended Brooks, so I got them. I used to wear Brooks, when I could afford them, but I also wore orthotics. I wear an insert the Dr gave me, but it doesn't help. I've been disappointed with Brooks shoes for a while. The last pair I wore, a different style, wore out in the front toe after only a few weeks wearing them. I think your quality & value have gone down quite a bit.

This shoe, coupled with an insert from another company, is helping with plantar fasciitis. After wearing the shoe for less than a week, a walk on a paved path created no pain today.

I am not a runner but show dogs. I needed a shoe that would support my feet and protect my back while spending hours on cement floors. Happy to say they worked!

Absolutely loved Addiction 1. 5 pair later, you discontinued so had to buy Addiction 2. 15 minutes into my walk, feet started hurting like my plantar was back after two years. Put on my addiction 1 old shoes and pain gone. Sent back addiction 2. Now have to find replacement style. Ugh.

I had bought a pair of these in taupe color a couple of years ago. When I finally found white, I grabbed it! Excellent arch support and real AA width. Very comfortable. They look a bit "clumpy" but the comfort trumps fashion.

The product was well made, however, I had to return it. After not having plantar fasciitis for more than 6 months, I had a flare-up after wearing these shoes for 2 days.

I went to my podiatrist and he said I needed a supportive pair of shoes so I bought two of your regular running shoes but when I went to work I couldn't wear the beautiful colorful running shoes that you normally sell so I did my research and found your slip resistant and got those for work. My feet have hurt for years and now I've been stand for 8 hours and still walk home still walk the dog without limping and hobbling these shoes are amazing changed my life

The shoes are true to size and width, with moderate arch support, and not too heavy, ie. a bit more light weight than earlier Addiction Walkers - which i have had. i like the lighter weight.

I'm 29 years old and I have fibromyalgia and joint pain. However, I'm very athletic and like to walk long distances when I don't have flare ups. I used to wear running sneakers for long distances and got shin splints. After wearing these walking sneakers I've had no pain in that area. Worth the money. They are stiff at first but you just need to break them in

First, I love Zappos. They were friendly, helpful, efficient and even had jokes prepared while waiting on the phone.
Now for the shoes: I fell in love with my Brooks Addiction Walkers 1 after trying many other shoes and brands. I have had major back surgery and need a shoe that feels solid and really supports me. The Addiction Walker 1 did that but the Addiction Walker 2 is less comfortable and has a cheaper feel to it. There is only one row of stitching on the toe instead of two and the shoe just feels flimsier. Over all, all I'm a little disappointed and frustrated that the first Addiction Walker is no longer available as it took me several tries to find it.

I work with USPS and am required to wear leather shoes. I’m on my feet most of the day. I also have Achilles tendinitis and these shoes are great! I have been a wearer of Brooks running shoes for years, and thought I would give these a try. They have not disappointed me. My Achilles pain is not noticeable when I wear these. Hopefully in 6 or so months when I need to replace them, they will still be available.

The fit of these shoes, which I've been buying for years, is still good. They have room for my orthotics when I take the Brooks liners out. The one shortcoming which stopped me from giving it five stars is the the shoelaces--they're too short, and the rounder shape doesn't stay tied as well as the flatter cotton style. This has been a problem for a number of years, but it seems to be getting worse. I sometimes need to tie double knots to keep them from coming untied, and it's a real challenge to do that successfully. I have to buy another pair of laces that are longer, and for the price I'm paying for these shoes, which I still love, I don't think I should have to buy different laces.

I've been wearing this style for 5 years. They are NOT attractive but they support my bad hips and lack of arches really well.

I love the shoe itself, just not the color options. I'm an operating room nurse, so I'm on my feet, power-walking or standing, most of the day. Needed something comfy and with good arch support that was relatively fluid impervious, and these shoes fit the bill beautifully. Brooks are the only sneakers I've worn, both in and out of work, for the last 4 years!
