Its not real comfy to wear 9 hrs straight on my feet

Ive been wearing aAddiction Walker for 15+ years. Previous purchase not happy with. The material is no longer leather its plastic and squeaks when I walk. This was the only sneaker that accommodated my foot issues. Now Im tasked at finding a new sneaker. Customer service at Dicks in Woodbridge NJ needs improving. Especially when the customer is a senior citizen. The addiction walker kept my feet stable and in motion. Running shoe was recommended by my podiatrist for flat feet.

Good support for my wobbly ankles, but so ugly.

I have been wearing the Addiction walkers (Only shoe I wear) since 2007. At some point (years ago) Brooks changed the design of the sole/tread. This new sole design is at minimum, annoying. 1) There is no longer any traction due to the tight design cuts. There may as well be a smooth sole. Slipping/sliding is more common than before the sole change. 2)The design now picks up any and all sand granules that are on trails and sidewalks. These tiny granules that get stuck in the treads scratch hardwood floors like sand paper (Thanks Brooks!) . After 16 years 2023 is the last year I will be purchasing Brooks. Why the sole design was changed?

I need the support provided by the shoe, but it is very masculine looking, and they are quite heavy. I am finding myself saying, OK, but I am not delighted.

Im used to Ghost 14 and this is firmer than that. Its not bad, just not as cushioned as I thought it would be. Still good support for me as Im recovering from a torn Achilles.

This is a very good, quality shoe. It unfortunately did not work for me. I really like the arch support and heel support. The shoe is pretty and yes, it does squeak, but honestly, I wouldn't care about that if it were comfortable. For me though, I think they are a bit "over corrective". My knees and hips start to hurt after a while of wearing them. I think it changes my gait too much. They also are on the hard side. I'm sure they work for many, but not for me. Thank you, Brooks, for your phenomenal trial period and customer service.

I love these - better than expected! Im trying to thwart pronation in one foot, and these work great, I can tell a big difference. I wouldnt be able to run/jog in them (too stiff), but I walk about 5mi a day and they are fantastic for that. I do also use store bought orthotics w them.

I bought white Walker 2 in size 9 E and I must say that these are THE MOST comfortable shoes Ive ever owned! I find excuses to wear them all the time and match my outfit to do just that.

Good but not great. I purposely waited 6 months to write this review so that I can be as honest as possible. This shoe is good but not the best. I'm looking to see if I can find another shoe to help with my pain since this doesn't totally relieve my pain. I stand long hours on my feet in an outpatient clinic and I was hoping for this shoe to greatly relive my pain to like a 3/10 but even with this shoe my pain is still a 6/7 out of 10 especially after standing for the whole day. I am very flat footed and have a low arch so that's why I was excited to buy this shoe. I'm not saying it doesn't work, I'm just saying its not as effective for my feet. I'll just keep looking for another shoe. Hope this helps somebody.

Theyre not a pretty shoe but great for work

Im a veterinarian and on my feet all day. These shoes are great for foot support and protection.

They arent slip resistant and they are heavy.

I've worn Addiction Walkers for 4 years. Great shoe. But the latest one I ordered didn't fit as well, same size, but they seemed to be loose. And I knew a smaller size would not be big enough. I would recommend the shoe to anybody. I wear them to stand/walk, not run.

These shoes really help my foot pains.

I have been buying these for several years, they are not what they used to be. What happened to these shoes, the quality just isnt there anymore.

Perfect walking shoe. Passes the Walt Disney World I wish they still had fast passes test. All the fit and support of a running shoe but doesnt look like it just came off a marathon

Im a walker with narrow feet. I love the Brooks Walker 2. Perfect fit.

These are the best shoes Ive owned. I have arthritis in my hips and the support they give really make a difference. I wish Id found them sooner.
