I absolutely love these shoes. I have had problems all my life finding shoes that fit properly snd are comfortable until I was referred to Brooks by my Orthopedic surgeon. I had to buy a new pair since my old ones were looking pretty bad, but they're still good for yard and garden work. I am a Brooks customer for life.

The only shoes that work for my poor 78 years old feet. Podiatrist recommended these for my over pronation. Not the most fashionable , but what I need everyday all day

I have been purchasing brooks for many years They are a great shoe and fits well The only problem is that there is only black or white. Not understanding that one. Would like to see another color as I wear these shoes every day

Mass General Hospital PT recommended this sneaker for me back in 1998. Have worn these ever since. Only way I can walk without pain!

I love this shoe (and the company behind the shoe)! Because I'm always cold, I need a sneaker that is not mesh, and this one is perfect besides having perfect support. I'm sure the same shoe only with the velcro straps would be much faster to put on, but I was too vain to purchase those. I could easily see someone with either a nursing or waitress profession (or other profession that spends a lot of time on your feet) buying the velcro straps, but I'm just a 68-year-old woman and I thought the velcro would make me look older. Please don't stop selling the velcro version of the same shoe though, because that's my next purchase! I purchased a wide shoe, and I loved how Brooks helped with sizing by comparing shoe sizes of other brands.

Best work shoes I have wore. Cushioned for hopping in and out of my truck. Like walking on air. I buy two pair at time, so they don't ware out as quickly. They last me about 3 to four years. I walk about 5 to 8 miles a day and hop in and out of my work truck for 8 to 10 hours a day.

Size up!!! As so many others have already said, the Addiction Walker 2 runs SO MUCH SMALLER than the original version. Have worn the original for years, always a size 9B. Was disappointed to learn the original was discontinued, however thought I'd take a chance on the "2" version. And before ordering, I read the reviews, many of which indicated to size up. So I ordered a half size larger, as the Zappo size guide suggested for this shoe. But even the 9.5 was too short. For me, a full size larger (size 10) is needed...and I have NEVER worn a size 10 shoe or sneaker before. Other than the sizing being so off, the shoe is nicely made, feels like quality leather, has comfortable padding and good arch support. Wish it was available in black in the size I need. Why on earth would Brooks not only change such a popular shoe but completely revise the sizing is a mystery.

I can't run but love to walk about an hour a day. I Love my brooks so much that I wanted them for work. As I work in a restaurant, I have to have all leather, slip resistant black shoes. I was so excited to find the addiction walker met all of the requirements for my workplace. Now my feet feel amazing at home walking as well as at work. I wish more restaurant staff knew about these. They are the best work shoe hands down. The best part is that they are available in a wide size. I have always bragged on the brooks brand but after now having them for work as well, I will definitely spread the word!!!

I have been wearing these shoes for the last 10 years. They are comfortable and supportive. I orginially bought them as they provide good support for my artifical knees. I would recommend them without hesitiation.

I bought these for my nursing clincal courses. My brother in law said on a positive note I wouldnt need to buy new shoes when I was old enough to go to a nursing home. My sister in law said it was a good thing I already had a boyfriend. I cant hear them though, because I'm walking on a freaking cloud they're so comfortable. This is my second pair of Brooks and I have to say they are 100% worth the money.

These are nice shoes. Due to foot problems, they are the only shoes I wear. I usually wear size 10 but these run small and require ordering a half size up. The insoles are removeable so the shoes accommodate my custom orthotics quite nicely. I have worn this style of Brooks for a number of years now. My right foot pronates and these shoes provide support for that. They work well for me and I hope they never stop making them.

Very supportive and well-balanced shoe; just what I need. The size and width seem to me to be consistent with earlier versions of this shoe that I have had. The removable insoles are very resilient and offer pretty good arch support, but I need to wear orthotics. Fortunately there was plenty of room in this shoe to replace the stock insoles with the orthotics.

This is a very sturdy sneaker. The shoe is very comfortable and helps with foot pain (plantar fasciitis) and balance.

I love these shoes! I don't know anything about the Addiction Walker 1 that everyone seems to love...but these 2's are great! I have plantar fasciitis periodically and these shoes are a life saver. I also have a high arch and a lot of shoes like Nike's just are too high for comfort. I wear an 8.5 M and these were an exact fit. They are a little heavier than the Addiction Runner's that I also bought...but both are super comfortable and fit better than my Merrells.

The new Brooks Addiction Walker 14 fit my feet with orthotics better than the previous style which always ran slightly large. It was a perfect fit. The leather black walker fit better than the Brooks Addiction 14 running shoe with upper mesh fabric in the same size. The mesh shoe model ran too long and less wide. Foot lifted out of shoe when walking. So the black leather walker and the mesh running shoe fit differently in the same size.

These shoes are wonderful. I have problem feet-they are narrow and I need a very good arch support. I use orthotics and these shoes accommodate them very well. I love when my feet feel good and they do when I wear these shoes.

I had bought a pair of these in taupe color a couple of years ago. When I finally found white, I grabbed it! Excellent arch support and real AA width. Very comfortable. They look a bit "clumpy" but the comfort trumps fashion.

I use these shoes as my work shoes. I have been working retail 2-3 days per week standing, walking, lifting on hard floors for 8-9 hrs per work day and my feet are happy after a long day. I purchased my first pair of leather running Brooks in 1983 and this brand has never failed me!

Extremely comfortable. Excellent cushioning and support resulting in no negative impact on my knees when I am in motion. Shoes aren't heavy on my feet but they feel a bit boxy when I walk about. Shoe size is 8.5 2E and I my lower legs/ankle are slender and not as strong as they use to be which I think contributes to shoes feeling boxy. Recommend these shoes.

My feet have hurt for years have tried all kinds of shoes and insoles. I went to a new foot doctor and she recommended Brooks do I ordered and took 3 days to get. I still have problems with arthritis in my toes but so much better then before. I will buy more.
