I am a long-time Brooks Addiction Walker wearer. Unfortunately, this new model does not fit the same as the previous version. I found that the shoe lacked enough length in the toe box. It definitely felt shorter than the previous version. Also, there was not enough support in the insole. My feet felt like they were walking on a very squishy insole. I need firm support in shoes. The old version was a better fit for me. The materials used for the shoe felt more like plastic than leather. I hope that Brooks will work on designing a walking shoe similar to their old Walkers.

very comfortable shoe. I am on my feet for my whole 8+ hr. shift, I have arthritis, high arches and get shin splints easily. No issues while wearing these shoes

I ordered 1/2 size larger, as suggested, which worked. But the shoes were too wide for my narrow feet. Will send back.

The wide toe berth and narrow heal makes for a comfortable fit for needy feet.

I've seen lots of reviews saying they are not as good as the original Addiction Walker. So far I can't tell the difference. I'm glad they run small because when I get the bigger size my orthotic insole fits perfect. Need to make more walkers instead of all runners.

This is my second pair of this shoe. The first has been wonderful for stability which helps control complications from hip and knee arthritis. I would have rated this show 5 stars based on my experience with the first pair, but, the second pair feels a bit shorter in the toe. Because my foot is wide in front and narrow at the heel, I feared the next size up would be to loose on my ankle.so my plan is wear only thin socks and keep the size I ordered. Others may want to consider ordering a half size up.

A bit stiff for a walking shoe.

Super duper white - but they'll get dirty soon enough and tone down. I wish they were all leather, but they are not. Would be nice if they had some vents or hikes for breathability. I'll put up with those cons for the support and comfort. Really great- I usually wear 8 1/2 wide- I got a size 9 and have a great amount of wiggle room for my toes which is what I wanted. It's nicely built up in the arch area and the soles have a wider footprint through the instep which gives me confidence walking on different surfaces - grass, pavement and trail.

As a long time advocate of Brooks, these are very comfortable, perfect for orthotic inserts. Great fit. Leather is #1. Negative: Only available in Black or white. Would like beige brought back. (Nubuck was great too) White color is very unforgiving on dirt walkways. Impossible to clean despite constant upkeep. Beige is much more forgiving. Black is dirt forgiving and perfect for wearing with slacks, but not exactly stylistic when coordinating w/shorts in summer, especially when the only option is to wear black sup hose. Please bring back beige. A drawer of beige sup hose is now unused and crying to come out of the dark. Option: find another brand, difficult to meet Brooks standards, but need beige.

I have been wearing this model shoe for years and finally figured out that I need the narrow size. These feel so much better now that I have the right size. I buy them because my podiatrist recommended them and they are the best I have found for day to day use. Sometimes you just have to put up with ugly in order to reduce pain.
I'd also recommend:

These run ridiculously short. I normally wear a 10N, could barely get it on with this shoe. Exchanged for a 10.5, toes still bumping the front. Now awaiting an 11 to see if that fits and feeling grateful they make an 11.5N in this because I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what I end up needing. Aside from that, the shoe feels very comfortable - which is why I’m keen to get a pair that fits, so I can really find out!

I’ve worn these before, and am happy with my new pair. I’m a little concerned that the outer sole might grip too much for my knees, but time will tell.

My first pair of these were great and just right for me. These second one are NOT the same!!! They are larger, roomier and bulkier on my foot- I would have returned but I had already worn outside.

The shoe was ample in front, but still a little narrow in the heel, as Brooks tend to be. I need the 9.5W. The right shoe has a rough seam on the inside of the heel, which made the problem worse. I have worn the Brooks Addiction Walker for years, and I now need to find my size in the new model. I also thought the new shoe was not as well made as my old ones, though it does look a little better.
