It’s a very good shoe, I have a pair of Brooks athletic shoes. The shoes are not what I thought they would be. I wanted more of a casual shoe.

Overall a very comfortable shoe with support but it's LOUD. The squeaky sounds are hilarious and a bit annoying. I have to remember to take the shoes off before I put the baby down or else the squeaky shoes wake him up as soon as I start sneaking away.

A good solid shoe for those that need that extra structure.

Very noisy shoe when walking, slippery on wet surface. Not for all day wear. insole is very hard.

In the past I have bought the lateral platform shoes - when I searched for them this time the addictive Walker came up - I am not certain it is the same as the lateral platform shoe

Having never worn Brooks, I made the mistake of buying them online. If I would have tried a pair on in a store I would have bought bought a pair 1/2 size larger. They seems to run small.

A bit too stiff for my liking. I will go back to a running shoe next time. I like the Addiction last. My back had some issues adjusting to the new shoes but has finally done so.

Bought size 7.5. Realize I need size larger. All in all comfortable-supportive shoe for me. Next time will purchase size 8. Been wearing Brooks Walker for 15 years. Cant go wrong on these.

Felt fine for a while. Instep support didn't last very long. Still good shoes for short time.

From a runners perspective, these are probably fantastic shoes. I've walked quite a ways in them and they're great. On the contrary, I got them as work shoes for food service. It says slip resistant in the description, but I don't trust them to keep me from falling on damp floors. It's also a bit difficult to get things out of the grooves on the bottom of the shoes. I've attempted to do so with a hose at work, but will have to go after them with toothpicks to get the lions share out. They're also way snugger than I'm used to, but that's probably because I usually wear loose shoes without much for padding. I get used to the feeling as the day goes on, but in the future I'd opt for more the wider option than the regular.

The fit was ok however compared to the former shoes I ordered there is not enough cushion in the heel area. It feels hard under the heel. So I’m returning them.

Overall, I'm pleased with these. I did not purchase for running, but I walk miles a day and have bad feet. They have good support and I've been able to walk 3-4 miles in them. The only suggestion I have is for a slightly wider toe box. The first few times I walked in them I did experience some pain in my large toe, however I think I'm getting them broken in.

Bought these shoes for work as I must have ALL BLACK for work and this was the only Brooks option. The fit is fine. Wish it had more cushy padding in the soul as I am on my feet quite a bit at work.

This model is not as ?Narrow? as previous models, so bunches up in front of laces.

Leather seeks as I walk. Hopefully that will not last as the shoe is worn more often.

I'm used to Ghost 14 and this is firmer than that. It's not bad, just not as cushioned as I thought it would be. Still good support for me as I'm recovering from a torn Achilles.

When I tried them on it felt like they were made for my feet. They're very well-made. The only issue I have is that throughout the day my feet swell a little and there is NO give to these shoes so they become tight on my feet. I just loosen up the laces and go about my day. I'm no runner but I do a lot of walking and they're very comfortable. I highly recommend these shoes to diabetics and people with disabilities.

Shoes are great. I like that it comes in wide width. A little heavier than i expected but so far so good and I know it will improve my overall quality in walking and balance.

I had to exchange for a half size larger and wide. I'm not sure if this was because of the shoe or my feet because I have gained a little weight recently but my toes were scrunched at the top in my usual size 10. The 10.5 wide is much more comfortable.

The shoe is very stable side-to-side and cushioned, which relieves knee pain. However, it feels clunky and hot on the foot. If the sole were more flexible under the ball of the foot, a more natural gait would be possible. If the vamp were vented, they would be cooler. Style-wise, a less sneaker-y upper, approximating an old-time Oxford, would be *much* better.
