I can't run but love to walk about an hour a day. I Love my brooks so much that I wanted them for work. As I work in a restaurant, I have to have all leather, slip resistant black shoes. I was so excited to find the addiction walker met all of the requirements for my workplace. Now my feet feel amazing at home walking as well as at work. I wish more restaurant staff knew about these. They are the best work shoe hands down. The best part is that they are available in a wide size. I have always bragged on the brooks brand but after now having them for work as well, I will definitely spread the word!!!

I love this shoe fits very well, comfortable, comes in a good wide width. A good wide shoe is very hard to find. I got the double wide and fit beautifully. if you want a good shoe you'll love this one. I bought two pairs.

Good stable support. Pairs well with orthotics. They feel secure with just enough give in the leather. I would just add some colors other than black or white. These look like ? old people sneakers?. We may be older but we do like to look fashionable.

I love my new shoes. I used to have issues with shoes that slip easily. I feel much more secure in these shoes. I will order another pair.

The shoe is called a walker but it's very uncomfortable to walk for more than a mile for being so narrow. I would not order it again.

I do not believe the walker addiction 2 are true to size, these run smaller then the other Walker addictions I bought the same size I have in the past and the 2 my toes touch have no room width is smaller, I love these shoes now I have to return and try a size bigger.

I finally found the right size for this shoe after months of frustration. It was a full size up and I had to go down a width. It would be nice to have the option of getting several sizes at once and only pay for what isn't returned. It still didn't feel like hugged my foot like the previous version and it was hard as a rock. I think they took out some cushioning in this version. I need much more cushioning along with stability and support, which is a very difficult combination to find. Really sad these won't work.

Unwearable as is the medium size I usually wear. You've changed the last and design leading to agonizing pain for me. I will be looking for other brands after many a year of patronizing yours.

I started buying the original walking addiction several years ago after I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I loved that they were lightweight & came in black leather that I need as a letter carrier. I now have other foot issues & the podiatrist was happy with this sneaker choice. I found that the walking addiction II isn't as good as the original but it's the only black leather sneaker that I can walk 10 miles a day in.

As a long time advocate of Brooks, these are very comfortable, perfect for orthotic inserts. Great fit. Leather is #1.
Negative: Only available in Black or white. Would like beige brought back. (Nubuck was great too) White color is very unforgiving on dirt walkways. Impossible to clean despite constant upkeep. Beige is much more forgiving. Black is dirt forgiving and perfect for wearing with slacks, but not exactly stylistic when coordinating w/shorts in summer, especially when the only option is to wear black sup hose. Please bring back beige. A drawer of beige sup hose is now unused and crying to come out of the dark. Option: find another brand, difficult to meet Brooks standards, but need beige.

I am very happy with this shoe! I needed something supportive, yet also cushiony, as my foot gets back to normal following a broken metatarsal. In addition, there is midfoot arthritis at the joint. My orthopedic doctor told me this was an excellent choice for my issues! Plain white sneakers are actually in style now, so I don't hesitate to wear them in the warmer months!
I am sometimes an 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe. I got these in a 9.5 M a year or so ago, and just bought them again in a 9.5 narrow. They seem to run a little wide I think. Excellent room in the toe box. They are a bit heavy, but I'm not a runner so it's not a problem. They fit my needs for a good walking shoe to wear on walks, running errands around town, or exploring new places!

I have been wearing these shoes for the last 10 years. They are comfortable and supportive. I orginially bought them as they provide good support for my artifical knees. I would recommend them without hesitiation.
