This is my 5th pair of this shoe. By far the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever owned. True to size.

I have been buying the Brooks Addiction Walker for too many years to count. It's been awhile since I replaced my worn pair, and I was a bit disappointed in my most recent pair. They are comfortable walking shoes. However, they are advertised as being leather like my many previous pairs. I dare say, they seem to be mostly vinyl. The toe area may possibly be leather. But the rest of the "upper" is not. It is vinyl/plastic. The shoes are such a bright white vinyl that I am sure they are visible from outer space. Again, comfortable walking shoes.They are not cheap in price. But they have a cheap look now with the materials used. Had I known they were really plastic, I never would have bought them and I won't make that mistake again.

I'm way past running, but these help me to continue walking despite arthritis. Not pretty, but comfort is more important.

Great shoe, very comfortable and true to size. The problem is the shoes SQUEAK LIKE CRAZY!!!! Please do something About this!!!

Needed to switch Brooks models as my feet changed. Love this model, fits well and is perfect for walking. WISH FOR MORE COLOR CHOICES! Worth the price for my comfort.

Fit is good, support is good, shes are too squeaky!

I'm a letter carrier for USPS. The Post Office finally approved carriers the ability to choose shoes other than what we can get from the uniform store. Those shoes are just ok. There was always a time of "breaking in and getting used to" a new pair of shoes. My feet would hurt for about a week and need to take my old shoes with my so I can switch halfway through the day. I looked up shoes that are recommended by podiatrists and Brooks came up as one of the top 5. I chose these because we still have to have certain parameters for shoes, black leather uppers and non-skid sole. These shoes are a game changer for my feet!! There is no "breaking in" or "getting used to a new pair" of shoes. My feet aren't hurting and actually still feel good at the end of a 10-12hr day. I like the removable insole so I can replace it with my orthotics. The toe box is wide and doesn't squish my toes. I wonder if I had a choice at the beginning of my 30 yr career, if I would have the feet issues I do today.

I had a problem with a pair of shoes and they sent me new ones even before I sent the first ones back! Excellent customer service! I?ve worn this style of shoe for what seems like 20 years due to a foot injury. They are the only shoes that don?t end up hurting my foot after a day of wearing them. For years I bought them at a local shoe store but they went out of business so I found the Brooks website and started purchasing here. Knowing nothing would work as well as this model, I ordered what I thought would fit using info from my last purchase. I was wrong, I needed a half size up. I went in line to start the return process. The site told me I would be credited once they received the return. That was fine with me, but today I dropped off at the post office and a short time later received an email from Brooks and then PayPal that my refund had been processed and received. Please don?t let buying from Brooks Running on line scare you, the are super easy returns with lighting fast payment refunds. At the same time I entered the return info I ordered the next half size up. They also showed up quickly and are perfect, again!!

I've been wearing the Addition Walker for over 10 years same size/width. The Addition Walker 2 runs small, both in length and width so not true to size. The original version had linear insoles which was perfect for folks with no arch. The new version have an arch and my feet and knees hurt terribly at the end of the day. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! Not sure why the design was changed. :-(

I don't run in these shoes. These are my work shoes. I am on my feet in a laboratory setting all day. These shoes help my tired aching feet. :)

Alas the Addiction 2 does not fit like the Addiction 1 or original one, so my 9 D was too small and not comfortable at all. I had to send them back. Now I understand that no one is manufacturing any Addiction model so I must find another shoe for comfortable walking.

I loved them at first. Ive been having trouble getting shoes that fit so I wore them around the house a few days before trying them outside. they were a tad stiff, but at home, it seemed ok . I was able to do a lot of chores that required standing and walking. I thought I finally found something I can wear other than the one pair of sneakers that are never in stock. then i wore them out snd walked a few blocks. after a while my feet and legs were killing me. I am soooo disappointed
