I do not run and got these for an active job with lots of standing and walking. They aren't as professional looking as I'd like, but after wearing my other shoes (less than a year old, running shoes from another brand) for a quick walk down the block, I don't know how I lived without these. The soles offer excellent shock absorption and are very supportive. They work well with my custom orthotics. I have tried so many shoes in the last two years and these are finally the winner.

I like the addiction walker 2 for cold weather. It's flexible bends fairly well with the foot. It does run a little short, so I had to order 1/2 size up.

I wear these while working at Universal Studios Hollywood. I am standing/walking over 5 miles a shift and I'm pretty happy with the shoes. I was some insoles from The Good Feet store with a different pair of shoes that weren't doing the job. I may install the insoles in these and give them a try

I'm so happy to be back in an Addiction shoe! I am not a runner. These are perfect for a supportive walking shoe.

Purchased these hoping theyd be better than my Hokas and they werent. I have a wide foot and was looking forward to trying their extra wide size as Hoka doesnt offer it in womens sizes. The toe box was too narrow for me and squished my foot anyway. Even the normal wide with Hoka was better fitting than these. They also felt awkward to walk in when I tested them at home, so unfortunately this shoe was a no go for me.

I had to purchase these shoes for work. Overall they were okay but they were very heavy shoes. I have had Brooks before and did not have that problem. Maybe the leather made the shoes heavy? Besides that the shoe was more narrow than expected.

The Addiction Walker 2 is comfortable from the first time I put the shoe on. Can easily wear all day or just for the daily 3 - 4 mile walk. Went with the leather version for cold weather so my feet stay warm. Great shoe!

Have wore shoe for 15+ years and they are the reason I can take my walks everyday. Definitely best for walking. Like that there is lots of room in toe area. I wear with customized orthotics so order larger size. Better now as far as slippery on wet surfaces but still would like more traction. I wear them every day and most of the day.

Full disclosure - I returned these. I own several other pairs of Brooks shoes, so ordered these in the same size. They were about a half size too small.

I ordered the white. Super comfy & stylish. Will definitely order again. These run small. I normally wear a 9 in Brooks and got a size 10.

This is why I delete the emails. Too demanding. The company should look at what is purchased. This is a work shoe. Questions arent relevant

They are very comfortable and I didnt even need to break them in. Im really happy with Brooks shoes, the quality and customer service seems great!

I have used this shoe daily for over 15 years. Really. I had lower back problems and needed a supportive shoe to be able to stand at work. I was fitted with this shoe and have continued to order two pairs a year ever since. I use this for walking, not running.

I have very bad feet- bunions and hammer toes. These are the best I've found since searching for months. They come in wide and have a high enough toe box when I take out the inner sole. Overall I'm quite happy with them.
