It is not narrow enough in the heel! You have been cheating up for several years now. I mean the heels are getting wider and there is significant slippage unless I wear very thick socks. Even then they can slip. Also, why do you have to make them look like old lady orthopaedic shoes? Why can't you make them look more sporty with some fun color choices? I have a very difficult time finding shoes that really fit my narrow heeled feet. Yours have consistently been the best and most comfortable until the last few years. Please review the sizing and make the walking shoes as appealing as the running shoes.

I bought these shoes specifically for work expecting them to work well due to these shoes being "slip resistant". THESE SHOES ARE NOT SLIP RESISTANT. I almost fell on my second day of work because the floor was the tiniest bit wet. Very disappointed.

I have plantar fasciitis and Brooks is one of the shoes my podiatrist told me to wear. They are comfortable, the only drawback for me is that I would like to have more arch support. I have changed insoles with my protalus insoles. The shoes run small. I normally wear 8.5 and had to go to 9.5.

I bought these for nursing school clinicals and Im so glad I did! Not only do they meet the requirements, but they are comfortable and look much nicer than the alternatives.

They are cut just a bit too short. I need more room for my toes. They are cramped. And, yes, I wear a 12 in all other brands.

I wore them this summer July-August 2023 while vacationing in the French Riviera and Spain. I walked daily for hours. I think it helped to avoid plantar fasciitis pain and sore sole. I recommend them. I wore the all white sneakers with no-show socks with dresses and summer pants. They remained white for weeks during use. I even washed the leather by hand on my return and no stains remained! The leather stays clean and easy to wipe-out.

These shoes are very nice. My issue with them is that as an older person I need a shoe that provides me with a softer foot bed. Wearing these shoes for any length of time caused my feet to hurt. The fit was fine, but the feel after awhile didn't work for me.

I am a Walker and the AW2 has since 2017 been my shoe. I walk not far, only around 60mi./week. (Some days 20 another day 6 or 12.) I have stayed with the shoe because it has last through all the years (only 3 pair/yr. So about 18 pairs altogether + a couple extra for show up bright.) and I have not had foot problems because say Brook felt it had to tweak the designNO they have not messed with perfection! I like it runs true to size.

These shoes are so comfortable for everyday and walking. They are a slightly heavier feel compared to running shoes (these are my first walking shoes) but I don't mind that. I got these to replace my Nike Air Forces and it was SUCH A BETTER investment. Air forces are wayyy heavier and clunky whereas these have better bend. I got these in white and have not regretted it. It's become by go-to casual shoe.

Shoes are very comfortable, but very ugly. Do orthopedic shoes have to look so clinical?

Some heel slippage. Ok with 2 pair of socks. But then had to size up a full size vs a 1/2 size.

Comfortable, supportive and long lasting walking shoe/sneaker. I walk an average of 3-5 miles a day. I have been wearing these Addiction walkers for years and hope you never discontinue them.

I do not run but I do speed walk and do elliptical at the gym. Plus I stand on my feet all day. My orthotics fit in them perfectly

From a runners perspective, these are probably fantastic shoes. I've walked quite a ways in them and they're great. On the contrary, I got them as work shoes for food service.
It says slip resistant in the description, but I don't trust them to keep me from falling on damp floors. It's also a bit difficult to get things out of the grooves on the bottom of the shoes. I've attempted to do so with a hose at work, but will have to go after them with toothpicks to get the lions share out.
They're also way snugger than I'm used to, but that's probably because I usually wear loose shoes without much for padding. I get used to the feeling as the day goes on, but in the future I'd opt for more the wider option than the regular.

The Brooks Addiction Walker 2 is a good leather sneaker that I have purchased several times. Even though the quality is not as good as it used to be I do continue to purchase it because it is a leather sneaker which is all I wear and the fit gives me the support I need. I wear them with an arch support insert. The sneaker is attractive and doesn’t look weird like other sneakers made of fabric materials and have assorted colors. I wear only White leather sneakers. The Brooks are comfortable and look good..
