I am 5'3", and the proportions were just a SMIDGE off...the jacket covered my whole bum instead of hitting at my high hip. Some people might not mind at all, but it bothered me enough to return this. (also, as a sewist, the fact that the side baffles didn't line up with the front channels was visually difficult for me. hahaha.

I got the small which fit just right but still gives me some extra room. I haven't been able to try it out in the Baltimore weather I bought it for but it's handling the TN weather just fine.

I was a little upset when I first received the coat. It is very thin and I was expecting a thicker fluffier coat. My daughter loves it! She says it is warm and likes how it fits her body. I give it 4 stars

I love this thin, down jacket. It is plenty warm enough for 30 degree temperature.

Fits great and true to size. a little lighter weight than I was hoping for.

A little thin but i like it just dont wear it when its 30 degrees or less.

Nice jacket for fall weather. The only problem I ran into was that it took a month to receive it in the mail.

This jacket has a very trim fit through the body. I wear an 8 women's size and it just barely is large enough in a medium. My other Columbia medium jackets are larger. The sleeves are a good length. The hood fits well. And the quality is up to Columbia's usual standards.

Bought a medium as I have a fleece Columbia jacket which runs big. The jacket is bit small. Washes well.

I am a size womens 14, bought the xl but was too small in my bust area so I had to return it. loved the quality of the jacket but fit just was not right.

This jacket is a great for mild/cold weather. Perfect for crazy Texas weather.

This jacket was great for Seattle in January. I wish it had a string to make the hood tighter.

Perfect for cold evenings and winter weather. Fit is true to size and the hood is a great feature to a well insulated jacket.

Ordered this for myself to replace a jacket system. I have gotten several compliments on how this jacket looks. It is roomy enough to wear layers underneath and is pretty warm, especially when zipped up all the way & hood up. Perfect for the relatively mild winter weather we've had so far, not sure if it'd be warm enough in sub zero temps though. (that's why I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars) It's light weight, not bulky, warm & stylish!

I ordered this jacket online in Black, and in a size small. I was impressed with how light the jacket was, and the fit was perfect. I'm five foot one, and the length was comfortable! I currently wear the jacket with a Benton springs sweater since the temp has been below 40 in my area.

This a great lightweight coat, perfect for hiking, walking the dog, running errands when you are in and out of the car. I got one for myself and my daughter. I originally hoped she could ski in hers but as she is a beginner so won't be skiing that hard and hates to wear layers I don't think it will keep her warm enough if the temps are below 30. We both feel like it runs a little big. I'm normally a medium and she would be a L or XL, and the medium and XL were both a little big on us. The only improvements I would love to see on this coat would be a drawstring at the bottom and a drawstring or corded hood so you could adjust both to hug your body. For reference I'm 5'4", 125, 32D, about a size 6 and The medium was just a little too baggy. My daughter is 5'2", 145, 34F and the XL was too big for her. It fit okay across the busy but she is thinner through her tummy and hips so it was too baggy there. Great coat though!

Bought this as a winter light weight jacket. It runs a little small, I'm a women's size 14 and usually wear a L or XL, the XL size jackets fits but is quite snug. Also, the jacket is good for winter wear in Temps above 30. It does not feel like enough in freezing temps

Jacket is great, when you on the move, it really keeps you warm. With a little jacket or sweater underneath 20 degrees outside is a breeze. I love the inside pockets cause I am able to fit items in them and you not notice the bulk on the outside.

This jacket is surprisingly warmer than I expected. I have and 800 fill down and this 65O fill is just as warm. Size small is perfect for wearing another layer underneath. I was undecided if I wanted to send back and get an xs for skiing, wearing under a shell but decided to use the jacket for everyday wear. It's has a stylish fit and won the test against some of the competitors I also ordered jackets from.

I bought this jacket because I am tired of wearing "heavy" coats. I wasn't convinced that it would keep me extremely warm during the Kansas winter months. I have noticed that it's taken some getting used to, and I think that's because it is so light weight. I can't imaging it being warm - but each time I wear it, I become less aware of the outdoor temperature. It's the perfect weight and thickness for the car, and if you're running into the grocery store. I feel like it does run a bit snug. I bought a large because I like to wear sweatshirts and sweaters. The jacket does zip up - but I don't feel like I have any extra room. Maybe that's by design? I normally wear a size 8.

Jacket was not as warm as I thought it should be. I wear it in 50 degree weathered with two long sleeve shirt and another Jacket and I was still cold.

Bought this for my daughter to keep her warm at college and she loves it! It is so lightweight yet provides warmth.
