Fit is as advertized... Comfort is decent but not great quality is not very good anti slip sole is useless. You can and I did slip on wet concrete. Do not expect any sort of traction with these shoes.

Before I purchased these online, I did so, because I wanted to be professionally sized. I went to one of your dealers here in town. I am very happy with the overall fit and craftsmanship. However, the pad of my right heal caused me a sharp pain while wearing them at work, standing on a rubber mat over concrete. My left shoe is fine. I work i an USDA grade food lab. After standing for hours, it can be very painful. When finished with work walking can improve the painful condition, but it is still with me even though reduced. How do I keep up with their appearance and condition? Do I use good quality shoe polish to dress them up if alcohol drips on them? Will it be possible to buy more shoe laces for these shoes? They are very nice quality and will wear out before the shoes. I would like to buy 4 pair for siz 11.5 d. Thank you, Stephen Williams

Nice, good looking and comfortable shoes, BUT they're not slip resistant. At least in the kitchen.

The sole is too stiff for ideal walking distances. Its great for standing. Very comfortable. I wear it to baseball games where I'm largely sitting and short walks. I use other Brooks shoes for fitness walking.

Change of length and quality of shoestring definitely a negative. Don?t seem to have as much support as the last pair I bought from you.

They just weren't what I was hoping for. I am on my feet walking on concrete and climbing stairs and I thought these might work, unfortunately not.

On the hunt for some slip resistant work shoes. It has been extremely difficult to find my size lately so when I found these I figured I’d give them a try. Still a half size too big but may have worked out as the toe box seems to be right. So, the disappointment lies in the so called slip resistance. These shoes do not provide any slip resistance with oil and water, perhaps a little with water alone.

Disappointed. My daughter recommended Brooks. Leather looks like plastic . Heel. Flares out to much making it tougher to walk. Bought as a diabetic shoe alternative. Buy a diabetic shoe.....same price or LESS.

I like the look and material a lot. But Shoe feels a bit broad or lose near the toes. I am concerned that may hinder the full support I need.
My older Brooks were more canvas, but felt a little more snug from toes to heel. I'd like the support I felt in those.

These Brooks fit my feet very well, it's too bad they are like walking on a plank of wood. Even with an orthotic I find them to be too hard but they are still an option since New Balance forgot how to make walking shoes and other brands just don't fit me very well.
If they could make the sole softer and had more arch support they would be 5 stars, as is I have to give them only 3 for the hard ride and cheap insole.
I'd also recommend:

The new sole design gets small pebbles and sand stuck in the narrow grooves. Don't like the new plastic sides that used to be leather. Plastic sides squeak.

I love my brooks beast shoe. I can wear them all day and still feel great. This shoe just doesn't seem to have the same support. I had to discontinue it for a period because it was causing a pain in the bottom of my foot. I purchased these so I'd have comfortable shoes I could wear at more "dressy" functions. Wish it had the leather uppers with the beast sole.

Shoe is very good for me when new, but loses its shape and support in a month. Have to toss them despite still looking new. My back and hips and feet start to hurt once the support goes away. Keep in mind that I'm 6'3" and weigh 255.
Wish they'd last longer. I'm continually looking for a shoe that can make it past 20 miles.

It's pretty comfortable, but not a game changer interms of walking shoes. I will rate it as better than runnings shoes in terms of comfort in walking, but not remarkably better.

I have always purchased Brooks shoes, at least for the past decade. I was excited to get these as they are the only white leather shoes (style points). 2E is my comfortable fit. However, these do not feel wide in the slightest. They almost feel narrower than any other regular shoe. The big toe and little tow are both uncomfortably rubbing against the side.
Love the style of the shoe, however, the fit is below subpar : (
