Lateral margin rubs up against lateral malleolus. The front of the toe starts to peal before anything else. These are minor complaints. Very comfortable for someone who is on their feet all day. I will continue to buy these as needed.

My husband did like the shoes a lot but unfortunately due to his health problems with his feet he needs a very large toe box (which Keen shoes Have) and had to return but did think they had very nice cushioning and were very nice looking.

I'm putting my mark on 4 stars for now. They're still a little tight, getting broken in. It's difficult to say what my future rating will be, but as with prior my Brooks experiences, comfort and quality show themselves in the long run

Not bad. Not a true 4E shoe though. Feels like a 3E

I had the Addiction Walker box from my last purchase about 2 years ago. I bought the same size and had to exchange them from a D to 4E width. Zappos are the best. Made shopping, return ,and new purchase super easy. Keeping new size. Like others said below the leather is not the same quality, but the shoe still has great support..I also have the Brooks Beast love both. They really help keep my heels straight when walking.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Propet, Duncan , and the Birkenstock Arizona soft footed for extra wide feet.

I?ve recently started clinical rotations as a Radiography student and I purchased these to be on my feet for 8+ hours a day. The shoes had to be all black and non porous and I chose these. They are comfortable. I had worn the original Brooks addiction walker as a valet and they absolutely saved my feet. I?d only ever worn cheap shoes for work and had a stretch of 3, 18hr days over TX OU weekend that left me unable to stand. In an emergency, basically, I purchased the original walker, reluctantly because of how ugly they were, but by the end of a day that started with me thinking I?d done serious damage to my foot, I had fully recovered and felt great. After 6 weeks in these I like them as much as the 1st addiction walker. They work incredibly as far as comfort and plantar fasciitis is concerned. Unfortunately they just don?t tick all the boxes for me. I bought these hoping they would be more stylish but they?re just grandpa shoes. You can?t get past it. They also do not breathe. I?ve never had a problem with foot odor. I don?t wear a pair of socks more than once, but because of the trapped sweat, I?m dealing with major foot odor that I?m catching whiffs of while working, and it?s awful taking the shoes off at the end of the day. I very much am a Brooks fan and am grateful for their return policy. The products are solid. You gotta make this thing breathe and figure out a black leather shoe that isn?t embarrassing for someone under 60 to wear. Thank you.

They are incredibly comfortable!! Much better than the original Addiction Walker. However, they seem to run a bit smaller than the original. I have to wear inlays and with the original Walker I could use an 11.5. So I ordered an 11.5 in the Addiction 2 and they are too small. I'm going to have to go with a size 12. They are great shoes. I strongly recommend them. Just be aware you might have to order a slightly bigger size than you used to.

Material was too stiff, squeaky when walking and too narrow at the arch. The toe box was good.

Fit and size are adequate, but disappointed that there is more rubber now than leather on the upper portion of the shoe.

The shoes feel a bit tight. They also squeak. I think that happens from the tongue rubbing against the insides. I wore them once and am still scratching my head whether I like them or not!

The shoe is very comfortable and stable, but it looks like I just left the senior living facility. I got the extra wide as the standard width in the Ghost was too tight. I may have been better off with a standard width on these.

Not as comfortable as I hoped. Heavier than I expected. Best shoelaces on any recent Brooks shoe.

I am a female who generally orders Men's 10D in lieu of Women's 11W in athletic shoes. I have purchased and enjoyed wearing several Brooks athletic shoe models in this size, but this particular shoe felt smaller and narrower and was not particularly comfortable. It is also kind of ugly, but I need slip-resistant shoes for work and most of them are ugly. Sending them back. For reference, I did take out the insoles that came with the shoes and replaced them with the CADENCE EX. This may have affected the fit, but as I stated in my review of the Hoka Bondi, I have no problem with the 10D in other Brooks models I have tried.

The shoe is well-made and feels durable, with good overall quality. However, it's a bit on the heavier side, and the sole is quite hard. If you suffer from plantar fasciitis or need extra cushioning and support, this might not be the best choice for you.

The 4E feels like a 2E and crushed my toes. This is the first time such a thing has happened to me, so I wonder whether the shoe was mislabeled at the factory, since I own other 4E width Brooks and other manufacturers' 4E shoes that fit perfectly.

Very dissapointed with this shoe because in the description says that the shoe is slip resistant and its not.

The shoes are pretty comfortable. I have no arches so it took a little bit to get used to. However, the shoe size they are slippers resistant they are not. I work in and out of kitchens, and the first day I wore them I almost fell on a wet floor. And it's not only indoors, after a rainstorm, the pavement was wet, stepped and almost fell.. Well, most likely be sending them back.
