I need a winter shoe for walking, so selected the leather upper Addiction because the Dyads I use the rest of the year are ventilated. Im 74 years old and no longer run due to some leg and foot issues. The Addictions fit well, and definitely are more suited for cold, wet weather, but do not offer the kind of support that the Dyads provide. I cannot walk as far or as quickly in the Addictions. The lack of support causes back and leg pain fairly quickly. I realize that my situation probably is not typical of your customers, but I really wish you had a product available such as a leather-topped Dyad for winter use.

Fits my narrow width well and no problems inserting my orthotics. I've taken a 3 mile walk in them plus several shorter walks and they have been comfortable.

I've only had them for about 2 months, i use them for work where i am standing and walking all day. At the end of my day my feet feel much better than other new shoes ive gotten. Good support, and they are very slip resistant.

Not a true fit . I have worn a size 9 for 40 years and these shoes run 1/2 size small.

Looks great, goes with more formal clothes, feels like a good supportive running shoes. It is noisy when I walk, a rubbing sound, doesn't seem like it will go away.

Im a choral musician, so Im on my feet quite a lot. I have been looking for a shoe that provides good support. This shoe is the shoe that does that for me. This shoe is very comfortable. I would definitely buy another pair.

Bought them for my husband who walks a mile or two with the dogs every morning. He loves the support and comfort. We both agree that we wish they looked more sporty. But for my husband who has foot and ankle issues, it's a great shoe.

They're not the most stylish thing in the world but are the most comfortable shoe out of the box i have ever worn.

These would have been 5-star if they did not squeak with every step I take. I work in a quieter environment, and I'm the only one in the area who squeaks with every step. Otherwise they're wonderful in every way.

Not sure if they fit or it's just break in period. I just returned a pair of NB that didn't fit and some other 5e shoes that felt like cardboard. Used indoors only on a Treadmill and inside the house. My beast 18 seemed to fit okay but I'm not sure. Having massive feet is a real challenge. I would like to get some kind of custom sizing or something. I haven't had good fitting shoes since I was a kid. I am a 15 4e. Probably actually a 5e width.

I have owned several pairs of Brooks Addiction Walker shoes over the years. This is my first pair of the Walker 2. They are different as other reviews have noted. Seemed to fit my somewhat narrow, low volume feet, mostly flat arches, better overall. I continue to use a half-size higher than most other shoes. It seems that some cushioning has been lost in this new version, and maybe some arch support. Stability is good. Overall am pleased, however, I do miss the cushioning of the previous Walkers.
I'd also recommend:
Saucony makes a walker that also fits my hard-to-fit feet fairly well.

This is a very comfortable walking shoe, save one thing: there needs to be some ventilation in the upper sole. Feet got a little warm in 90ish degree weather. I will explore your other options, however, to make sure there wasn't anything that I might have missed with this option, with this comfort level. Otherwise: lots of support, lots of stability!

I recently switched to this shoe from another brand ( New Balance)that I have used for the past 15 years. I wear a size 14 B so the selection of footwear in my size is very restricted. This is my first pair of Brooks shoes and I am impressed with the fit and manufacturing quality. I would have preferred an all leather upper but am satisfied with both the fit and comfort of this shoe. I will probably buy an additional pair shortly so that I can rotate the pairs of shoes daily.

Great shoe with fantastic support and comfort! (Mine are black and wish that the upper wasn't quite so shiny.)

Great shoe. I just wish the laces weren't so long. I usually have to trim off about a foot from each lace.

I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 only because they make a noticeable amount of noise when you walk, which seems to be coming from the foam padded tongue . I've walked a good 50 miles in them now and it hasn't gone away. It really detracts from an otherwise excellent shoe. Great shoe for outdoor use but too annoying for indoors . I wish they'd redesign it to make it quiet.

good hardy overall walking shoe i do 3 miles a day everyday its not raining on nature trails and asphalt or concrete. i wear shoe inserts for my high arches so the inserts that come with the shoes get replaced. only complaint i have is that they don't breath, i tried the mesh version they used to have but it wasn't as sturdy.

I love the Addiction Walker. I do approx. 10,000 steps a day and these offer great support. I prefer them to the Brooks Beasts given the agility I need as I teach. I wear the Beast for exted walks. Gave 4 stars not 5 for aesthetics. My kids call the old man shoes. Guess I'm getting older. Walk on.
