Note, I am not a runner, these are used for daily casual wear and walking on a treadmill. Very comfortable, sturdy shoes. Reasonably grippy on wet surfaces, I suspect that if they were more grippy then the outsole would wear more quickly based on past experience. Like all shoes with punched lacing holes they are a nuisance to loosen and tighten, I decoupled the laces from the tongue and that helped a lot, but I still spend more time than I like getting pressure even from the bottom to the top of the laces. I would pay extra a model with low profile metal loops. Silver lining is that they do not loosen during the day. I appreciate finding shoes in narrow; I have a long, narrow foot with a high instep and finding comfortable, supportive shoes is a challenge.

I bought all the original addiction walkers online i could find in my size. I had 10-12 pairs stocked up since I seriously doubted I'd like the the # 2 Addition Walker as well. After using all those up, i tried some very expensive shoes before returning to Brooks. This is my first pair of the new Addiction Walker #2. I am pleasantly surprised at the shoe. Although it is not the original, I'll be staying with Brooks. Thank you. EB

These shoes maybe fine for someone else but my geetvached after wearing them and caused my feet to swell, especially around the ankles considerably. I am returning them

Bought these for work as I am on my feet a lot. They are firm without feeling like a board has been strapped to your foot. My feet feel much better after a 12hr shift. Thanks for the shoes.

Too narrow in toe box Also I was not thinking about The shoe not breathing. Otherwise ok. Not a shoe for hot Weather are long track use.

I felt the shoe was too tight in the toe area. I should have tried to exchange it for another width or size but I got the shoe size I normally wear and just didn't want to keep sending back shoes. Most of the stores that sell Brooks have so few shoes to sell and only the ones that are most popular.

I was skeptical when I saw that this style had been updated last year. I bought a pair and have walked on them for six months. The new style is an improvement. I don't get foot pain and these are rugged shoes. I walk a lot and tear up my shoes but these look pretty good after six months and many miles. The only small complaint I have is that the shoe strings are about two inches too long and I sometimes "step on the loop" and untie them when I am walking.

I bought a pair of Addiction Walkers about 4 or 5 years ago and love them. I was looking through the current reviews and saw someone suggest you should make them in a brown. The reason I was looking on your site was to see if you had added a brown version. The shoes may look a little bit clunky but I wear them everywhere for all occasions and having a brown option would great.

Much more supportive than running shoes I have been using. I have PTTD in both ankles so this support is very important.
