I tried to like the white color of these shoes. I just can’t see myself wearing them. I also don’t like black walking shoes. I started walking for my health 8 years ago. I walked exclusively in Brooks Addiction Walkers original version in the brown color. I bought many pairs of those shoes. I haven’t bought any since they stopped making the brown version. Brooks, help me out here!

Not a comfortable fit. A little snug. Did not like it at all.

Bought two pairs, narrow width -- two weeks apart. 1st one was size normally worn, 11.5 narrow. Was too short, plus big toe rubbed against front of shoe, width was good. Ordered another pair only 1/2 size larger, 12 narrow, same thing. Couldn't order 1 size larger (13) because it would cause it to be too loose. It seemed like the perfect shoe for walking, not running or hiking.

These were purchased purely for comfort and support when walking. Although the size ordered was based on the site's recommendations, I found the toe box to be a little tight. I have somewhat narrow feet but ordered the medium width (as I always do). As a result of this, I find that I don't wear this pair very often, especially if I'm planning to walk a lot.

Bought these and the Hoka Clifton for my husband who’s a mail carrier, and the Brooks are his favorite. Comfortable right out of the box. Gonna try out the Ghostmax on him next. Or if anyone has any recommendations.

Very comfortable, great traction and water proof. The toes are a little snug for my feet. I will get one size larger next time.

I am a delivery driver and walk a min of 12,000 steps a day and these shoes are the only ones that last the longest. Most shoes I have to replace after 3 months but these last me about 5-6 months. I have to have a polishable leather shoe for work. I will continue to buy the brooks addiction walker 2's for work.

I have been wearing these for years. My only mistake is that they hold up so well I forget how nice a fresh new pair feels!

My go to shoe. The black ones fit better than the brown ones. I don't know if it's my foot, but I am wondering why. I have had two or three pairs of each. They are great shoes for walking, standing and just wearing. They don't get wet fast so safe if raining.

I've been looking for a comfortable shoe for work. I may have found it. I usually put in 8 to 10+ miles a day at work, thats 20 thousand + step a day. I have various problems with my feet, these shoes are very comfortable. I just wish that they were truly non slip for working in a kitchen. I would rate these shoes at a #9! I will buy these shoes again! Brooks shoes are high quality and fit my work and lifestyle completely!

I would have rated these shoes a 5. The only problem I have with them is that they have an annoying squeak when walking.

The width size is misleading and wide is really not that wide. The sizing runs a little smaller. It's a very snug fit.

I like these shoes, but they do have a flaw. This is a walking shoe. All of my running/workout shoes are Brooks because they fit my foot. About to travel out of the country and wanting to take only the shoes I would wear, I looked for the right shoe starting with the Brooks website. I found these 'walking' shoes, which are really a running shoe with a leather front upper and all black rather than the bright colors on 'running' shoes. They also have a wear layer on the sole that is designed for walking rather than running. This is all good stuff. I wore the shoes for two weeks traveling on the other side of the ocean. We did a lot of walking and climbing stairs averaging about 15000 steps a day including days when we were on airplanes and trains. These may now be my daily use shoes. The flaw: The shoe is advertised as 'maximum support'. It is actually lacking in support. I fixed the problem by taking some insoles out of an old pair of Keens and had the support I was used to. The insoles that come with these Brooks are too flat.
