Toe box is extremely tight and too pointed, even in X-Wide width it's cramped. Also not enough depth for an orthotic -- and I ordered a full size larger than usual. Too shallow in heel area and the padding around the ankle collar HURTS. I couldn't wear these for even one minute. The Addiction Walker is supposed to be a "walking" shoe but it has none of the important elements needed in a walking shoe -- no room in toe box, no depth to accommodate even an OTC insole/orthotic like Powerstep Pinnacle, and it has a very overly padded, shallow ankle area which puts pressure on the back of the foot and causes pain! If you have Insertional Achilles Tendonitis/Bursitis problems, or any foot pain for that matter, avoid these shoes. A good walking shoe eases pain, not causes it! Brooks really failed on this one and I don't understand why they don't redesign it, fix these problems and make the Addiction Walker a shoe that people needing a "walking" shoe can actually wear comfortably. Put some TOE BOX ROOM and DEPTH in this shoe! Ditch the pointed design and ROUND the toe area!

this is not the same addiction I purchased ten years ago in the leather. The addiction walkers I purchased that brought me back for another pair at this high price were solid walkers with good tread and good arch support. That is not what I got today. I returned.

Way too small! Color is soso

I am unsure if it's just these pairs of shoes or what. But, they cause a lot of static and don't have enough arch support. I got these to wear around the operating room (I work in the hospital) and they kept causing static which would cause me to shock anyone or anything I touched. Also, due to the minimal arch support, my feet get tired and sore easily. Like I said, I am unsure if it's just my pair or in general. I plan on returning them.

I have purchased many, many Brooks running shoes and they have been the most comfortable shoes I can wear. I decided to purchase a pair of walking shoes and they are the opposite. They are very uncomfortable. I will not buy walkers again.

Very stiff and having to break them in. Used to running shoes, wouldn't order walking shoes again.

Toe box too confining and I want zero drop in my shoes. Foot problems. I?m not a runner. Just trying to find a good fit for my problems. Remind me from mailing list please.

do not like this pair at all this is my forth pair. Not sure if sizing different always get the same size. These hurt. First tim not happy

What a beautiful shoe! Sadly, all that careful research and design work got messed up by whoever does sizing. I ordered a full size large, in wide, and the shoe was way too small. Also, the toe box is nearly as tapered as a dress shoe! Who wants that? Not I.

Really wanted to like these, but the pair I received was poorly constructed. The sole that was sewn in was too long for the shoes and bubbled up. The bubble would move back and forth as I walked. Returned immediately!!!! I want to order them again, but I'm not confident about the quality.

Runs small. Not comfortable at all. Would not purchase this style again.

I always wear the Adrenaline. However - they only last me two months. Customer service recommended Addiction. I bought them and they are way too small!!! I have toe pain, pain in the side of my foot and my shins hurt. My foot is hitting the front of the shoe. I don?t know whether to size up a half size or size up a half size and get extra wide. Such ashame because I feel they would last longer.

I always heard good reviews on Brooks. Few days before I bought my brooks walker suede shoes.The main reason for choosing this is anti-slip. yesterday due to climatic changes their a lot of moisture on the floor . I was walking carefully in my new shoes. I slipped and fell because it's not holding traction. My regular Nike shoes themselves are enough for moisture. Very disappointed ...

It's a nice looking shoe but not as comfortable as the sneaker. The toe box area was most uncomfortable as there was a rubber area there that was rubbing on my foot. I did order the correct size and if I would have gone up a half size, it would have been too big. I have since returned the shoes for a refund.

Did not care for this shoe. I am a faithful customer of brooks and have wore many of there shoes. However this pair I must say are not doing much for me. I cannot wait to take them off at end of shift my feet seem crampedi in shoe
