This is my second pair of Brooks athletic shoes. They fit perfectly and enable me to do a lot of walking comfortably.

I was looking for a shoe that was somewhat supportive; i.e. minimal movement side-to-side. (I do power walking and I have bad hips and knees.) These shoes fit the bill! It's been at least 10 years since I bought athletic shoes, and I completely forgot that my current shoes are also Brooks! My usual shoe size is 8-1/2 W, and both of my Brooks shoes are 9-1/2 W and fit perfectly.

I spent the weekend walking in these shoes, and never felt tired. I felt like I could just keep going indefinitely. I plan to take these with me traveling (by wearing them). They are my new all around favorites.

I have worn the Brooks Glycerin tennis shoe for several years but over the last 2-years they have raised the heel of that shoe to the point it was no longer comfortable for me walking. I decided to try their walking shoe and so far have found it very comfortable. I would like more choices in color.

I wear a size 8 regular in every other shoe I purchase. The reviews said to get a half size larger. This is still too small. From other purchases of this shoe, regular is too narrow and cramps my toes because the toe box is too small. The wide seems to be right, but I'm having to go up a full size up as the toe box is still too small and my toes are hitting the front of the shoe. I hope the 9 wide works because I love the support of this shoe. I just can't seem to find the right size.

Previous purchasers advised buying up 1/2 size....good thing I did. They are sturdy and comfortable but look huge and boxy.

my daughter has zero arch and she pronates quite severely. the support in these shoes are very helpful to her. we take out the arch supports to help her not get blisters in the spot where most of us have a arch. these are the only shoes except a few styles of keens

These are super comfortable for walking. I love the way they feel on my feet. I’m not crazy about the weird mauve/grey color, but others might love it. The only complaint I have is that they are not safe for walking on unpaved trails. The tread is very shallow and meant for paved surfaces. They have good traction on paved surfaces, but because of the shallow tread, they don’t grip on dirt, sand, or gravel; so on a slope, slips are frequently problematic. But for walking around the city, they’re very good.

Comfort is as expected with the Addiction Walker. But I cannot tolerate the stripes. I do not want a clumsy orthopedic shoe that draws attention to itself.

Too short and also too narrow for my feet. I am re-ordering them one size up and in a wide.

I have been wearing these shoes in the leather style. I found that the suede does not give me as much support around my foot, and I need a lot of stability. Also, as in the leather Addiction 2, the toe box is not roomy enough and it felt like I was hitting the end of the shoe even though I wasn't. I think the toe box is just too shallow and so my big toe was hits the top. I do wear custom orthotics, so this might be part of the issue. It's a disappointment because I was looking for an alternative to just wearing my standard white tennis shoes every day. I am returning these and have purchased the New Balance 988v3 in white leather instead.

Had to order a half size up because the length was too short. Wish for more colorful Addiction walkers and regular Addictions colors as well.

I ordered a half size larger, as suggested in reviews, and the shoes were still short, sad to say.

I usually wear a size 8 or 8-1/2 medium width. These shoes felt uncomfortably tight & short even tho they were 8-1/2. Must return.

They felt tight across the toe box and are heavy - I walk 4 miles a day but I have to return these and try another pair of Brooks. I've worn Brooks happily for years.

This shoe did not hold up well. The upper part of the shoe, the "suede" or fabric started fraying after moderate wear. I would buy another pair of these shoes except for this factor. Very poor quality of upper shoe.
