Does not fit well with high arches.

Just ridiculously TOO SMALL IN EVERY WAY! Too short in length, too narrow and tight in toe box, too short in laces length. And I don't mean a little too short/small, I mean 2-3 times too small/short! I wear a 6 Medium in New Balance 993. With Brooks the 7 Med is short, tight and the laces cannot be tied they are so short, if you use the top eyelets. If I order the 7.5 Wide I'm afraid I'll look like a clown. I'm 5'3". That would be 1.5 sizes over my normal size and maybe too wide. That size would look huge on my feet. Don't know what I'll do. Very disappointing. It has very good support along the bottom, but the sizing is severely flawed and inaccurate.

Per recommendation of Zappos, I did go up 1/2 size and they were perfect. I have some toe arthritis, and with the width of D, they are very comfortable.

The fit and support were excellent. I have been wearing Brooks and only Brooks for many years at the recommendation of my doctor.

I purchased size 10 and a 10 1/2, both sizes larger than my normal size 9 1/2 in dress shoes. The 10 hit me on the big toe and the 10 1/2 was longer but walking around in them in my house with my custom orthotic , I found my big toe moving forward enough to cause an issue. I returned both and will stick to buying a pair of New Balance where I seem to only need a size 10 even with orthotics. Thanks, Zappos for making shoe shopping so easy.

I normally wear women’s size 9-9.5 medium. My first pair of this shoe was a size 10 medium to accommodate orthotics and added padding (I have fallen arches). But at the end of the day they felt a tad short. I ordered a size 10.5 medium, thinking this should do the trick. The shoes felt more narrow than the previous size 10 M, and not much different in the length. So I ordered a size 11 Wide, and they’re just right. They’re very comfortable and well padded. It is my opinion these shoes are mis-sized. I’m not saying this from a Cinderella step-sister perspective. I believe they are one full size short and run a little narrow. They are a little heavier because they are nicely padded. Once you get the right sizing you will love them.

I normally wear size 7 in Brooks, so that's what I ordered. However, they were too short! Had to return and ordered a 7 1/2 and they are perfect (I have never worn a 7 1/2 in any shoe.) In most other shoes I wear a 6 1/2. So, if you are ordering these shoes make sure you go up 1/2 size. Brooks are my favorite shoes for daily wear.

There is always a question of width for me and combining a wide width with fashion is a never ending search. These look nice and fit well. I am pleased !

Thank you Brooks and Zappos. I am 5 months post ankle fracture, which is my third. I need supportive and stable sneakers while I try to regain full function. I have slightly flat/wide feet. I sized up 1/2 size which was perfect.

I’ve had 2 pairs of Brooks Addiction Leather shoes but like these suede ones better n couldn’t be happier with their lighter weight n fabric. Great walking.
