Good looking but had to return as did not run true to size. As a result I went with a different shoe, another Brooks shoe that I purchased locally.

I liked the styling, but they were no where near as comfortable as the many addiction walkers I have worn in the past. Even though they were they same size as my old ones, my toes hurt in less than a mile. I sent them back.
Please use the same styling on the old platform!!

This is my only disappointing purchase from Brooks. This is not a comfortable shoe to walk long distances. I purchased a pair of Ghost 12 at the same time and I wish I would have not spent the money on these. The Ghost are amazing to walk and run in. This shoe is garbage for the price.

While they looked good, they ran small and narrow and were really stiff. I couldn't do a proper heel toe transition in them. And they're more flat footed than me, with no arch support. But thanks to Brooks Run Guarantee, I returned them for a full refund. They might work for a more neutral foot but they weren't what I was expecting out of a shoe with a podiatrist accreditation

Like the overall design, but the sizing chart was off. I typically wear 12's, and bother were too small. I need 12.5. I sent my shoes back and have yet to receive full refund for both.

"I purchased the Brooks Addiction Walker shoes based on their description of providing soft, responsive cushioning and being ideal for long hours on my feet. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. Within minutes of wearing them, my feet started to hurt. I'm very disappointed, as they feel much smaller and tighter compared to my Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 in size 10 2E, which are incredibly comfortable. I had high expectations, but these shoes did not meet them."

Well this is a men's shoe. I was not aware that's what I was ordering as I only searched for women's shoes.

Good looking shoe but not nearly as comfortable as other Brooks shoes. Very stiff and very little cushioning.

The build quality is good, but the toe box is too small. I have enjoyed the Adrenaline for years, but wanted a shoe with more stability for walking. I had high hopes for the Addiction Walker, but found as other reviewers pointed out that the toe box is inadequate.

The insoles did not properly fit in the shoes. They bubbled at the toes. I had to return them, but willing to order again. I just hope the next pair will be better. Part 2, pending arrival of next purchase.

I have worn brooks for 27 years, using orthotics for Hallux Rigidus. The Addiction 13s and 14s worked well, but we're changed for 15 and no longer help. Tried these but they are painful.
Any recommendations?

First of All, it is not suede. I had one previous pair that did not hold up. I ordered another pair of the same because Brooks has been eliminating
Many of its walking shoes. SAD.
And, don't mix up walking shoes with running shoes. I have not been running for many years. Overall, I think Brooks has made a big mistake in moving toward eliminating its walking shoes,

Terrible compared to the leather model. My legs and feet hurt after walking during an afternoon. This pain NEVER occurred with my older pair.

The original Addiction Walkers were the best shoe I've ever worn. The Brown Nubuck style was a perfect winter shoe for the Pacific NW, I wore little else. These are too thin to be a winter shoe, aren't nearly as comfortable, and not nearly as good for plantar fascitis and flat feed. They aren't as solid either. I've spent thousands on these--though not cheap, I never regretted it. Won't be buying any more of these, they seem in truth a completely different shoe (yeah, they look really cool) that should have been introduced under a different name. Would have bought 10 pairs of the original version in black *and* brown if I'd known the style was about to be degraded. Really poor choice.

Maybe it's me or my feet, but how can a $140 pair a shoes feel so uncomfortable?

This shoe runs about 1/2 size too small. The cushion sole on the interior, is non-existent. Comfort level, subpar. Almost like walking on 24 wooden slats.
