The original suedeAddiction Walker was a comfortable fit and durable. You discontinued it for a couple of years and then reintroduced it. This new version is clearly redesigned as a narrower shoe from heel to toe and no longer fits unless your foot is shaped like a banana. You should have left well enough alone.

Will return them for a refund. I use my shoes for walking everyday, never running. I'm 5-10, 175lbs. Sturdy and looks great in navy blue/almost purple and gray, but too narrow in the toe area in wide (2e) in both 12 and 12.5. I tried this model after discovering the newest Beast has cushioning that's too soft for me. Haven't been able to find a suitable Brooks shoe since the Beast 20, so I'm done with Brooks for now unfortunately and will have to test out a bunch of different brands in-store. Hopefully, Brooks can bring the Beast back closer to the 20 for 2025.

I recently ordered a pair of Addiction Walker Suede in 11 Wide to replace the exact shoes I bought 3 years ago. When they showed up, I tried them on, and discovered they were 1/2 size too short! Even though they were the exact same size of what I am wearing. I returned the shoes to Brooks, and received a refund. Now, I am really reluctant to order another pair online because I can't trust that the sizing will be correct. Love the shoes, but they still gotta fit!

12 mm midsole drop is too high for balance

Disappointing. The fabric forming the shoe top very quickly became stressed at the big toe, even to the point of incipient disintegration on the outside of the shoe in that spot ? long, long before there appeared any signs of wear on the tread.

My husband is tall and he says these shoes are not supportive enough for him

They're very okay. You know that feeling when the back of your shoe "breaks" and it runs into your Achilles? My right shoe felt like that from the moment I put them on. The sole is also already peeling off from the toe. They are very comfy for these flat feet, though.

These are comfortable but they're horrible to wear if the surface you're walking on is wet. Your feet will definitely get wet and if you're on a wet smooth surface you don't have any grip. Worst of all, I've had these for about a year and there's already a hole on the suade.

I could barely get my foot in the shoe. Ran way smaller than the other 15 pair of Brooks that I have. Did my feet grow??? Had to return..

I am a Brooks fan but this shoe didn't quite make the cut. I bought the same size as I usually wear for other Brooks shoes but this shoe was extremely tight around the entire foot and my toes were jammed into the end of the shoe. I couldn't wear them because they were just too uncomfortable so sent them back. On a positive side there was no problem with returning them through the website. Since I am a walker not a runner, I had really high hopes for them but they just were too tight. I may try a bigger size but not sure if I want the hassle of the whole order then return process if they don't fit.

I honestly don't know how good they are. I do know they run small compared to the Beast: I'm pretty sure they are not as wide and certainly they are not as long. So, I had to send them back.

not enough foot support to keep my foot stable.

I really wanted to like these shoes. After all, nearly every review, professional and personal, rated these shoes highly. They are also great looking. But, after wearing these for 3 days straight, I had back pain, foot pain, and leg pain. My foot conditions: Sesamoiditis, and general arch and foot support. 1) The shoes run small. Buy 1/2 size larger. I had to return the first pair. 2) The toe space is narrow. Even with a correct fitting size, the toe space on these shoes is narrow. My toes still feel squeezed. 3) Little support in the ball of the shoe. I do now recommend these for Sesamoiditis conditions. 4) I found overall general support to be lacking, especially in the sides of the shoes. Because of the aesthetics, I decided to keep the shoes. However, I will only wear them for very short periods of time for certain occasions.

EVERY SINGLE pair of Brooks I purchase are Men?s size 10 regular width except this pair of Addiction walkers suede they are NOT true to size and are VERY tight fitting and I think Brooks should have informed customers to purchase them a 1/2 size larger. I?m just disappointed because I always rely and NEVER have doubts about Brooks shoes so HOPEFULLY someone from Brooks will contact me

It is a nice shoe, but I cannot wear it. I can tell that it would be a very comfortable shoe, if it fit me, but the 8.5 (which I have always worn in the original Addiction Walker-leather, is too short. My toes hit the front of the shoe. I tried a 9, and it was too long and too wide and sloppy in the toe box. WHY, do shoe manufactures have to change how a particular size fits when they change the style slightly? I also cannot wear the new Addiction Walker -2, for the same reasons. Very sad to say I cannot wear these shoes. I have worn the originals for many years. I give the shoe a 5 Star, but I give the SIZING of the shoe a 1 Star, for that reason, an Overall 2 Star. If it fits your foot, you will love it. Lucky you.

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks. Feel very ?clunky? and a bit heavy. They are also a bit larger than my other size 8?s. Would recommend if you have a semi-wide foot

I was expecting an actual suede material, similar to the leather version.

I find this provides no support for feet. I should have chosen a brand for walking. Since your heritage is running I think us older walkers should avoid Brooks.
