This seemed like it would be a very warm and weatherproof jacket, but it felt rather bulky and stiff. I wanted something a bit lighter and easier to move in. The style was flattering, though, for a serious winter parka. I'm between a small and a medium (5'6"/125/athletic build with wide shoulders), and the medium fit well with room for a layer under (although I don't know that one would need an extra layer with this coat). Small would probably have worked as well, but might have felt even stiffer. I went with the Columbia Heavenly Hooded Jacket instead and am very happy with it.

Very warm and lightweight. The thumbhole feature is a must for all my winter coats.

I'm 5'2", 110 lbs, and got the XS. It's SLIGHTLY big/long on me, but I think it's within my tolerance. I mainly really love the slim fit and good quality zipper/materials. It seems warm enough but if you're heading into really cold/windy areas, may need to layer more. Since it's waterproof, I plan to use it as a bluebird ski day when it's relatively nice out.

I've gotten to test this jacket in one of the coldest winters we've had in MN and it passes the test! Very warm in the cold and wind. I get compliments on the style every time I wear it. Is very durable. My absolute go-to jacket. Has kept me warm through everything! Love it.

The fit was very good, but I did reorder the next size. I live in the midwest, and it has been particularly cold. I am 5 ft. 7 in, and weigh 130 lbs. I ordered the medium, which would have been okay if I didn't want to layer. I returned the med. for a large with no problem. I love the fit of the large as I can now layer and I can tighten the bottom sides to fit stung. There are two inside pockets large enough for my phone, so what more could I want. There are also 2 outside zippered pockets. Have only walked in upper 20's and mid 30's so will see later in week when it's colder. So far so good. Also I like that it is not bulky and the hood fits nicely over my hat in case of wind or sleet.

This jacket is nice and slim fitting but also completely warm. It is soft and comfortable. I think it will be a perfect hiking jacket and will work for carting my backpack too. The outer material is durable also.

I LOVE this jacket!!! It is so warm and light weight. Not bulky at all. Plus the unique pattern and color block looks very flattering on. I purchased both the black and plum and went with the pretty plum. I usually wear a size 12 so I got both the large and x-large to see which one fit me best. The Large fit fine if I were only going to wear a tee underneath. It was a snug fit, especially in the arm area. But in the cold weather I want to wear sweaters and layers under the jacket and the large would of been too tight to do that. So I went with the x-large so I'd have room for those sweaters :) This is a great jacket. Try it. You'll love it!

This jacket is fantastic!!! Fits true to size, very warm, very waterproof and very lightweight. It's the perfect coat for chilly, rainy Washington days.

I used the jacket while climbing Kilimanjaro. It's lightweight and kept me warm in freezing temps. Also I had great mobility. I gifted it to one of the female porters. I love it so much I'm buying another.

I am 5’ - 100#. I ordered this one and the Columbia “heavenly” coat both in my normal size XS. Both fit perfect except for the arms were extra long with both. Two things I could not get over with this coat leading to a return: the long arms, causing it to bunch up and bulge at my biceps in an unflattering way. And the collar when not zipped all the way up stuck way out in the air in your face and would not lay flat. I ended up keeping the Heavenly.

I agree with many other reviewers, this jacket is light yet warm and has a feminine, not boxy, fit. I am 5'9" 125 lbs. Often I order an XS because I like things more fitted, but I got a S in this one after reading the reviews and the fit, and sleeve length, is perfect.

Extremely cozy, keeps you warm and dry. Consider not sizing up

I love this coat. I sized up to a medium and was glad I did. The hood is very user friendly and the finger holes are a great bonus. It's perfect for temps in 30's and 40's though I've not had a chance to test it for colder temps. It's also really awesome to look at.

I absolutely love this jacket! I'm 5'6", 130lbs the size small fit me to a T, with enough room for layering. I tend to have an issue with arm length, not with this, even using the cuffs with the thumb holes. Perfect weight, hood will cover your whole head, warm and waterproof. A must have for skiing, snowboarding & hiking on those chilly days.

I love the color and fit. It hasn't been quite warm enough yet to wear as my everyday choice . Can't wait!
