Shoe is very stiff initially but does feel similar to the ghost after a couple of runs. Impressed with the quality.

Decent shoe, good stability, but the toe box is not what I expected. I have Glycerins for road races and love them due to having peroneal tendinitis in both feet and they prevent flare ups. Also with the roomy toe box.. I like to keep my toenails where they belong. I was hoping the Cascadias would be as comfortable. They are adequately comfortable however 4 days later my toes are still on fire.

I was excited at the prospect of a Gore-tex Cascadia. However, the fit was odd. I'm usually an 8.5 in Brooks Cascadia shoes but an 8.5 felt a little too small and a 9.0 was too large. My heel slipped a bit in both sizes. It was noticeably heavier than the regular Cascadia 14 but not prohibitively. If it had fit, I would have tried these instead of the regular Cascadia shoes.

Too narrow of a toe box. The shoes immediately hurt my feet when trying them on.

My main issue with this shoe is the tongue as it rubs on my front right leg causing blister in just 1 mile of running. I have owned many, many Brooks shoes, trail and road & have never had any problem with the tongue. Also the shoe feels stiff all around but that maybe because it is waterproof, this I can overlook as I have only worn this shoe once.

Rubs my ankle bones. Good fit and cushion otherwise. Am returning.

Inner lining was uncomfortable and the shoe felt narrow, which made for some chaffing. I also found the laces for this model kept coming loose. They do look good though. I really love brooks. Too bad this didn’t work out.

Felt too constricted for my feet. I like the shoes' appearance, but my feet didn't enjoy Cascadia. We went back to my old, good Adrenaline!

This is a sad excuse for a trail running shoe. The uppers are all mesh - it started tearing apart at the toe literally after my third run. The sole is also uncomfortable with hardly any cushioning.

I run an average of 81 trail miles a month. I've been running in NewBalance Gobi shoes for years and decided to switch after I saw a chiropractor who told me I should be running in 'more expensive shoes because they will be better quality'. Stupidly I listened, dutifully went to the local running store and purchased these shoes. I am now retiring them 100 miles short of the 320 mile mark I use before I purchase anoter pair of shoes. The soles are falling apart, the inside has worn in 4 places, the stiching is failing and the most annoying part is that they collect more sand than any shoe I have ever worn. I literally have to take them off and empty the sand during my runs. I've never had to do that with my other trail running shoes. Too bad, I was stoked to have cool looking running shoes for once, but the complete lack of performance has driven me back to my ugly, yet really functional New Balance running shoes.

They hurt my feet. I wore for 3 days on my feet working essentially and during those 3 days my feet were red on bottom and hurting. When I got off work I would walk/ work in my yard in these shoes. But I couldn't handle the pain. Customer service is great. I sent them back with no problem with credit..thanks guys...

Took one three mile walk and came home with skin missing at the front of both ankles where the shoe tongues were rubbing. Also, because these are not zero drop shoes, I had pain in ball of my foot. I sent shoes back the next day.
