I bought these for a summer of work on the west coast trail and I'm very happy I did! They fit my foot really nicely and the break-in period was pretty short. Their grip is good for scrambling, and the waterproofing held up to a couple of trips along the muddy and rainy west coast trail. Even just walking through and standing in low tidal water, my feet were dry. Very happy with these and stoked to keep using them for hiking and backpacking.

I've had these for several years now and hiked CO mountain trails with no blisters or foot pain. Very supportive, comfortable and relatively light for a firm structure.

Great boots. These are my every day shoes. I walk an hour each way to work and back on city streets plus a six to eight hour shift in them. Very comfortable a durable shoe. I recommend that if you wear them like I do buy a second pair and switch off every other day, they'll last forever. Please Arc'teryx never stop making this boot in all black. Many jobs require black shoes and these are the best work boots I've ever had.

Bought these boots for the purpose of winter hiking in a wet climate, areas of BC. The comfortable fit and light weight makes them a breeze to hike with. The gortex have kept my feet dry it the wettest conditions. Durability for rocky forest terrain on point. These were a top shelf purchase. Thank you Arcteryx

I love taking these boots on my fall/winter hikes, especially snowshoeing days. These fit well on narrow feet, but won't on wider feet

Grabbed these on a Black Friday sale, I initially shopping for a second pair of Aerios ARs for work but there weren't any listed on the website and I'd heard good things about these. They are a great alternative to the Aerios AR, I go through mixed conditions daily for work (mostly in and around town, into houses that often have poorly maintained stairs/property, but commonly end up hiking up and down embankments, in the woods, etc). These feel a little lighter and less sturdy around the ankle than my Aerios ARs, but that is a nice change for times I don't need the extra support or warmth. Great grip on these, though I'd prefer closed loop eyelets all the way up after the laces on my Aerios ARs shredded after about a year.

This is an excellent boot! Very comfortable, good looking boot. For as rugged as this boot seems to be it is quite light. It will be a pleasure to wear for those long days on the trail!

I bought these boots to use both for personal use and for use in Mountain Rescue. They're great! Grippy enough on wet rock and mud, comfortable, lightweight, stiff enough to provide a good platform on unstable ground but not so stiff they feel difficult to walk in.

On the 2nd anniversary of owning these boots I thought I'd toss an update in for anyone considering buying some. I purchased a size 9.5 uk and I'd say they're absolutely true to size. I have wide feet which I know can be an issue with some of Arc's footwear but these boots are absolutely fine in width for me. In my day job I'm a wholetime firefighter and a coastal rescue hovercraft instructor so they get a lot of use in particularly unpleasant environments as well as fairly heavy off road use in my local hills. After two years of this they are and continue to be, frankly, amazing. The soles have plenty of life in them, the uppers remain tear and damage free, and every now and then they get a dunk and scrubbing brush treatment in the sink. They always come back looking good and really, the only criticism I could possibly have for them is that the original laces never stayed done up so I replaced them with some Hanwag ones. I've never owned a pair of boots that survived two solid years, let alone ones that still maintain waterproof was, still look good and still serve me well. Top kit.

Rugged and capable. Would recommend. There was a horizontal split on the heal after 170km GR20 trip in Corsica but only effected the outer layer and they were hammered by me on the trip. Most waterproof boot I've owned. On second pair now as first were so good. Put in their paces on a numerous mountain rescue callout to aid folk in trouble in the hills. A little bit of colour on them wouldn't go amiss! Go on Arcteryx, break out a tin of yellow paint, I dare you!

I purchased these as I wanted a boot with good ankle support and ability to grip a variety of terrain. I am pleased with my purchase as these boots meet all of my requirement. They are comfortable, great ankle support, awesome grip, waterproof, and they look good.

Went on an intense winter hike. Waterproof and was a 10/10 the ENTIRE time. Great traction while my friend was slipping in his military boots behind me and I was doing just fine on my feet.

I bought these boots 10 months ago and I can't lie they really are the real deal comfortable is an understatement, wearing the right socks too is like wearing bed slippers. I put these boot through its paces because I needed to know that what I have can do what I expect of them. They came out the best, laugh your way through autumn and winter even spring too in fact all seasons will do but don't just take my word for it, try a pair. Money well spent and yes if they had cost more I'd still be happy with my purchase. Keep up the good work Arteryx

I bought these boots 4 months ago.I love the that sole actually flexes. I feel that most hiking boots are over kill with how stiff they are. They are true to size. They are surprising tough too. Dont tell Arcteryx but I bought these for construction work ;) I easily wear these for 8 hrs a day. The only thing that was disappointing was that both laces broke after a month. That said i haven't own a bad Arcteryx shoe.

so i bought these shoes as a last minute decision, literally 1 day before setting off to hike up Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.. I was in complete shock at how comfortable and how versatile these shoes were with everything i threw at them with zero prior "breaking in" period the grip is phenomenal.. traversing up slippery slanted rocks or coming down the smooth, fine-sand footpaths on the mountain caused me no issues. super waterproof and even on summit day where the temp dropped to -10c. My feet were a-okay.. i honestly could not recommend these enough. As someone who has played with Salomons, On's & various other hiking shoe brands. These are by far the best i've had.. don't question the price.Get them.

I got these boots on the professional peogramme as I work outside and sometimes in difficult weather/terrain as a special Operations Paramedic. These are the best boots I have had and give me everything I need and no blisters. I have and would recommend these and they also look smart.

Super lightweight, super tough state of the art materials/design, flex in the boot may have the flexibility to avoid the dread split/crease across the toe line, this is the main reason I bought them. Laces stay done up and mega cool lace fastener when you tighten them up. Fit true to size. Immediate comfort.

These lightweight boots are good-to-go right out of the box. No break-in period is required. The Megagrip outer sole is grippy in all kinds of conditions. High'y recommended.

Bought these a couple of months ago as a Summer / Autumn pair to replace my old scarpas, as I have a few items of clothing which I was happy with . 1st time I was a little sceptical but there proved to be very comfortable over 13 miles of hiking in the UK lakes, despite a mixture of terrain , rock , marsh gravel paths they were flexible enough but stiff enough to scramble and despite that no wear marks / cuts . I have now used them several times in the hills but also in UK farm shows where they proved to be comfortable all day and thoroughly waterproof

Bought these boots to replace some from another manufacturer that might have caused my painful Achilles tendon (correlation is not always causation but it's likely here) These Acrux boots appear to have resolved this problem and I'm very grateful!
