Good quality. Great purchase. Other reviews sais ir runs small and I ordered a size up, but had to return for a smaller size. Return was fairly easy and got the right size in less than a week.

Love the versatility of having both the liner and the shell to choose from. The technology of the heat reflective liner is amazing. This jacket kept me so warm! And it's so stylish.

The warmth, the color , the price. Where do I begin? I am extremely pleased with my jacket purchase. The Whirlibird IV Is very warm when you wear the liner . I am an avid hiker and no matter the weather I'm out in it. The protection from the wind and pelting snow was great. I love the color but green is my favorite . The price was right on for the value of the jacket. Three separate jackets that you can match to your own weather conditions. I do have to mention the sleeve length, they are a little long . No bother to me, I was able to tuck my gloves in and the Velcro holds everything warm. I purchased a large and I like the roominess for movement I have.

The jacket is very nice. I like the blue color and the option to wear it three ways. I would, however, like a sturdy two way zipper. I purchased a similar columbia jacket but the zipper did not hold up. Can you replace the zipper as I like the wind proof and warmth qualities of this jacket? Thank you.

I bought this jacket to replace a very old Columbia 3 in 1 that had lost its water repellancy after many many washings and I could not be more pleased. I love the versatility provided by this jacket. I have comfortably walked in all types of weather this winter from wet 40's to snowy, icy single digits. The pit zips are a very nice addition that I didn't have with my older jacket. I do find that there is ample room but this jacket is cut a little tighter than most mediums that I own.

My daughter loves this jacket. The inner jacket is just as useful as the outer. She wears both for skiing, but just the inner to school every day. Cute colors

Found this while searching for a replacement for my beloved 25+ year old Lowe Alpine, so this was no ordinary search. The bold style was a refreshing standout in a bland cross-vendor field. This one checked all but one of the boxes on my list: pit zips, waterproof, comfortable collar when zipped all the way, hood that will stay on, enough lengh to cover my rear end, adjustable cuffs, comfortable pockets, and not too crunchy-sounding. The only feature missing was a bottom-up zipper, but it still won a feature-to-feature comparison with an NF jacket. After wearing it for about a month now, my favorite aspect is the warmth of the inner jacket; it is surprisingly cozy without being too hot and the cream color is refreshingly elegant. I was not searching for a jacket that separates, but I have found myself wearing the inner coat alone more often than with the shell. I rarely take the time to snap it all back together, but that has not caused any problems. During my curation process, I discovered I needed an XL due to hip size, though it makes the body and the shoulders quite large on me- just something I have to live with. Some in my circle raised an eyebrow at the bold pattern, but those who "get" me loved it. I even had a jogger shout, "love your jacket!" to me as she ran by.

Just got my new Columbia ski jacket and I love it. First of all, I got the Spruce (green) color and it is so beautiful. It has a really nice and even flattering shape and so far has kept me nice and warm. I normally wear a large so I got the large in this jacket ... it fits great even with a hoodie underneath. Definitely glad I got this jacket!

This is one of the warmest coats I've owned and I'm a coat fanatic. The liner coat is super comfortable and warm in itself and I often wear only that with a Columbia fuzzy jacket under it. In the super cold, windy and snowy days I add the outer layer and my torso is never cold. Very well made. Fits nicely and is a sharp looking coat.

Bought this 3 days ago I'm typically a medium but can be between sizes to a large. 34DDD 31W 43H 5'8 180lbs. This fit perfect at a Large. I'll have room to add a light sweater under when I skiing. My next test and review will be when I test it in the cold. But so far beautiful. Oh I got it in the green and it's stunning.

The jacket is lightweight & very warm. I sized up on the jacket in case I need to add layers. The inner jacket is very stylish on the cool days. The zippered pockets are large & very roomy.

I love this coat. I am that person that is cold in the summer, I can never get warm. This jacket was a lifesaver for NY winters, springs and falls. I've had mine for about 4 or 5 years now. I'm back looking for another one. I wore this win we went snow tubing in PA and other then my feet and hands freezing my body was so nice and warm. it cinches around the bottom so air can't get in and the Velcro on around the wrist keeps air out too. inner coat is good for spring and fall outer coat by itself is useless, but never really had a need to wear it alone in the winter I always use both. not to heavy, but might exactly light weight, but you need to consider you're wearing two coats and whatever top you have on. either one by itself is light weight.

Warmest coat I've ever owned. I have actually started sweating in the coat in 30 degree weather with only a thin layer top on. It holds up well in serious cold.

I bought this coat for Christmas and wore it in Ohio, Indiana, and North Carolina in 32 or below temperatures with a thermal and shirt underneath and I was really warm. I'm 5'7" and weigh 110lb and purchased a XS and it fits perfect with a little of room for some layers! In North Carolina and India I went skiing on some slopes and I stay very warm. It was 32 F and 25 F with a wind chill that made it feel like 15 F and I was so warm. I could not feel the chill of the harsh fast winds and I was warm from going down the slopes. At times I was sweating from all the activity. I love the versatile ability to wear one coat or both. It keep me dry after crashing many many times in the snow I didn't even get wet or feel the cold from the snow. This jacket isn't restricting and is very easy to do activities in. I love that I can go outside and be active and stay warm! Also, I'm a very cold natured person and it is very hard for me to stay warm but with this jacket I've had no problem. I 100% recommend!

If you are an active person, looking for a jacket to keep up with you, I highly recommend this style. I bought my first Whirlibird 11 years ago and have skied numerous times, snow shoed, XC Skied, watched football games, and done countless other things in it. I finally grew out of it this year sadly, so I am replacing it with a new one! You can't really beat having three jackets in one. On warmer days I wear the shell alone, and on dry, but cold days I can wear the liner with a hat and feel great. I grew up in Washington, and lived in Montana...This jacket has seen ALL the elements and every temperature and activity imaginable.

It's a great jacket i love it. I like to size up in jackets because i like them a bit baggy in myself. I adjust it from the wrists and the bottom! Also the puffer jacket under the big one looks cute by itself.

Hello everyone. I rally love this jacket. Very good quality. A big plus for the possibility of having "two" different jackets. I RECOMMEND to anyone who loves skiing, snowboarding, hiking, walking or cycling.

Love this. On colder windier spring or fall days I can wear it with the puffer liner inside and it is just enough. It is light, and you don't ever have that bulky feeling while wearing it. The layers are great to wear separate too and it is very versatile...easy to add or subtract a layer. Hood is great and is adjustable, has just enough of a brim out over your face to protect you from the rain and sun. 5 stars!!
