New resident of MN and needed a jacket for nordic skiing. Its been great for walking and birdwatching in single digit weather but still need layers for these less mobile sports. Wish the parka section had a hood. The various pockets are well designed and useful.

I purchased this jacket to replace my old Columbia 3-in-1 jacket which was at least 7 years old. I bought the White Florescence Print. I was worried that the light color would make it look dirty quicker but the grey parts of the jacket are darker in the picture. I disagree with the reviews that claim it is necessary to size up. My last Columbia jacket was a size large and I am definitely a little heavier than when I purchased it. I went with a size large this time too and it fits perfectly. I would even say it is a little roomy. An XL would have been way too big. I agree that the zipper is small and flimsy and I worry about it holding up with repeated use. I love all the pockets and other features of this jacket. I look forward to using this jacket for skiing, snowmobiling and hiking in our Minnesota winter.

I like this jacket and wanted to get a second one for the cabin The fit is nice for walking the dog and snowshoeing. Love the length and pitzips, keeps me warm. I wanted to purchse the Malbec Crossdye, but I won't get it because it has a white inner liner. WHY???!!! I wish it would have been black which is more flattering for all body sizes. If you are XL or larger ,white is not the most flattering color to wear! Also, I do like the dark navy jacket -- except for the White zipper on the chest - it should have been the same color as the jacket. A definite deal breaker for me. Sometimes, I'm shocked at the color options for this very popular jacket. Why isn't there more of a purplish jacket, bluish red, olive green, brown?????? Overall, I wear this jacket everyday and hope to find the right color combinations so I can get a second jacket.

Love the jacket, despite the snug fit, except for the outside shell's zipper. The zipper designed to hold the inside liner jacket securely to the shell is the size and strength I expected to see on the outside. Instead, the outside zipper is 1/2 the size of the liner zipper! It's very small and skinny, and I worry about it's stability in the long run, as I expect to wear a jacket for many years. The slightly snug fit isn't a problem since it is so warm. No need for a plethora of layers underneath.

The perfect jacket that can go through more than one season. I love the versatility of being able to wear the shell, or liner separately OR all together for ultimate warmth. This jacket carries me from fall, to winter and early spring! I just wish the color and pattern options were better for a woman. Most color options are boring or look a bit masculine. (Dark green, Navy, black)

It is super warm and comfortable! I am spreading the word that people should buy Columbia!!

It's a good jacket and very warm. It's pretty slim fitting so I can't always wear both layers and a sweatshirt underneath. My only issue is the sleeves were a little short on me. It's not a huge deal becuase usually jackets and long sleeves are short on me, but it is a little annoying. Overall a good jacket though

I love this jacket because I can use it all year long. As a teacher I am outside daily with my students in all the elements. I bought one a few years ago and now that it is worn out I bought another. The one disappointment I had was I ordered it and then found it for $30 less at the outlet:(

I would like the outer material softer, will be more comfortable.

Great coat for cold weather. I wear it as a barn coat and stay warm and dry during the winter. This coat runs a bit small.

This is my third 3-in-1 jacket from Columbia. I have enjoyed all of them for different reasons. I appreciate the fact that this one has a down omni heat mildly puffy jacket instead of fleece. The fabric on the outer layer is what has me slightly dissatisfied. It is more rough and almost canvas like. it has some velcro on the front zipper flap that I was not expecting and am not fond of. The zipper is only a one way zipper and seems to be a bit temper mental. Overall I like this jacket and with a few minor changes it could be great.

I love this jacket, the quality is so good, is very warm and light. Is only a little big for the XS size (principally the shoulders) but I'm happy with my bought.

Living in the frigid north, I have worn Columbia jackets exclusively during the winter for the last 20 years. I have always been pleased with the quality and durability of these jackets. I purchased this coat because my current Columbia is now too big on me, even at 7 years old it still has plenty of life left in it. I went with one of the slightly lighter weight winter jackets. I was worried it wouldn't keep me warm, but it does a great job keeping my temperature even. Sometimes I notice I am a little chilled at first but that is to be expected with our temperatures. My two pet peeves are that the sleeves of the inner jacket don't "let go" when I try to take the coat off, not a deal breaker but something to note. Also if you happen to be a woman with large hips, know that this coat may be a little snug around the hips. I wear a med/large shirt and went with a large coat because most Columbia's have this issue. The coat is quite snug around my hips but will stay over my behind and doesn't ride up, another inch of fabric would have been a little more comfortable for me though.

I am quite pleased with this purchase! This coat is very comfortable and warm. I love how you can take the inner layer out also for when it's not quite so cold. This coat has been doing an awesome job so far keeping me warm in the MN winter. The heat reflective lining works well also! I definitely feel a difference between this and other coats in that aspect. The only complaint I have (which is a problem in pretty much every winter coat anyway) is that in order to have shoulder movement, I have to size up to fit my large chest, which makes it a little bigger and looser than I'd like on the waist.

The coat is great! Keeps me warm. Love that it's 3-in-1. I ordered "black cross dye" and it's dark grey at best. It says "black" in the shopping cart. That was a bummer.

Fits nice but I have long arms so the sleeves are a bit short.

Good warm jacket. The omni heat fabric really does make the jacket warmer. The interchange feature makes it very versatile and completely waterproof and warm. It is a little heavy and runs on the small side. The underarm vents help give you a little more room in the chest.

Got my jacket it is everything i thought it would be well made and good looking. Now i just have to wait to test it out in the cold and snow. I am sure it will be great but it doesnt matter as i will be stylish..

This coat is stylish and really functional. The 3 in 1 system makes it easy to dress for the weather. I am 5'5" 110lbs and ordered an xs. It fit perfectly. The only reason I ended up returning it is because I decided I preferred the black color.

This is an excellent coat. My only issue is the outer layer fits differently (larger) than the inside layer. So I don't like wearing it by itself as much. I had ordered a medium but had to get a large for the inside jacket being a smaller fit. But all in all it's a great jacket and would highly recommend it.

The jacket looks good and is warm and comfy. I just wish it was a tiny bit longer. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.
