I loved the sneaker at first. After two weeks the toe bed fabric was tearing. I never had this happen before with other Brooks sneakers. I want to return them. Very disappointed!

They were not comfortable. With my orthotic inserted they rubbed on my big toe.

I admit I have picky feet and knees. However, I’ve owned multiple pair of the Brooks ghost model. This one is not the same - the material feels much different and the last feels shorter. Husband recycled box so I hope I can switch for a pair that works.

It was recommended to go up half a size which I did and it needed it. I REALLY wanted to like these. I loved the Ghost 11 but the arch support on this shoe was uncomfortable. Why can't companies stick with models that work as well as the Ghost 11 did?

This style of Brooks, for me, was uncomfortable. My feet "burned" when I walked in them. I wish Brooks hadn't restyled the Glycerin into more narrow toe bed. These are nice shoes, but not for me.

I ordered the G12's when I found out that they stopped production of the 11's. The first time i slipped the 11's on, it was a match made in heaven. The new G12's are NOT that! And Im saying that just after my preliminary testing. Width, size, length, all good. The sole feels like it's made out of concrete compared to the G11's. I hate to be harsh, but this is what Im seeing so far. I have a second pair of Ghost 12's on the way, as I type. If something changes, I will update my post. At this point, Im sadly disappointed with the Ghost 12's so far. John.

I have had every model of Brooks Ghost shoes since Ghost 5. I usually race half-marathons. This is the first time I was disappointed. I have always worn a size 9.5 in every single one of their Ghost models. This time, the Ghost 12 was too tight in the toe box. I had to exchange them for a half size larger (size 10). It felt more comfortable while walking in the larger size, but while running, I have had joint pain and severe blisters on the ball of my foot and big toes for the past 5 months (this shoe was the only change). It has caused several breaks in my training to heal. It hasn't improved and I just got another blister on my big toe today. I am finally giving up and getting a different shoe after years of running in the Brooks Ghost. I'm very disappointed with this shoe. I'm not going to be able to stick with the Brooks Ghost any longer.

I bought these Ghost 12’s because Ghost 11’s are my personal version of Cinderella’s glass slippers. The 11’s fit me perfectly, don’t exacerbate my plantar fasciitis, and are basically magical. Well, in the 12’s I am no longer Cinderella but one of the step sisters. They are too stiff, the support feels wrong/weird for me, and after a few outings, my poor arches were crying out like the prince had snubbed them at the ball. These are going back (thank you Zappos Runlimited)!

I have worn and loved the Ghost 11, finding it to be immediately comfortable, so was anticipating the same experience with Ghost 12. Not so with this new version! The toe box is slightly smaller, the toe a bit longer than the old version, but the real issue lies with the much more narrow fit at the arch. My feet went numb after only a short time in this shoe - could not even wear it to one class after testing it around the house. VERY disappointed!!

WAY TOO NARROW! I’m on my feet all day for work and absolutely loved loved loved my ghost 11s but the 12s are too narrow. I wore them around the house for 30 min. and my heels were hurting so bad I took them off! The toe box isn’t as roomy either. What’s worse, I thought I’d try a wide just to see if they worked since I think the width was my main issue and I really liked the style, but they only make 3 colors in wide!!!! SERIOUSLY!? Super disappointed! :(

TOO NARROW! I’m on my feet all day and have the ghost 11s and loved them but the 12s hurt my feet from the second I put them on! I wore them around the house for 30 min just to see and my heels hurt something awful and the toe box is much smaller than with the 11s! And what’s worse is I thought I’d try them in wide bc the style and arch support weren’t terrible and I think the width was my main issue but they don’t offer hardly any in wides!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!? Please go Back to the comfort of the 11s or at the very least offer more than a couple colors in the wides. SO disappointed!

They were a little too big for me when I inserted my orthodics. I did have a problem with the laces unfortunately. The plastic ends of the laces broke off so I contacted Brook's Shoes and they sent new ones-a little different color but they match well. Decided to return them.

I’ve worn Ghost Brooks for years and when it was time for my annual purchase I was super excited about this new plaid design. Unfortunately the fit was terrible. Ran 2 miles in the Ghost 12 and I couldn’t run for 3 days after due to pain on the top of my right foot. I thought the laces were to tight but it happened two more times after that. Sad to say these were returned.

I was disappointed with this newer version. Loved the previous version. I felt the shoe ran smaller and the toe box was indeed much smaller than previous version. Unfortunately I had to return them, just too just crowding and rubbing of toes.

This were very comfortable, cushy and nice looking shoes but my back was killing me. It could be me out of shape but since my other shoes don't cause they pain, I have to return them.

Sigh. Why can't Brooks leave a good thing alone? I have worn Ghosts for years. Each re-design makes the shoes more uncomfortable. Wore the Ghost 12's one day. Couldn't wait to get them OFF. Feet were so cramped I couldn't feel my toes. Sigh.

Not as comfortable as my Brooks Ghost, these feel shorter and narrower, I will return or exchange.

I really liked the ghost 10s. Did not like ghost 11. I read other reviews that said that ghost 12s were more like the 10s...but I didn't think so. The 12s fit the same as the others, but they are very stiff.

After I wore the shoes a few times the back would roll down when I would slide my heel in and would be very difficult to unroll the back up without any creases or make it comfortable. I loved everything about the shoes except, for the price of the shoe, the backs should not roll down when sliding my foot is so therfore I need to return them :(

I love brooks but this one particular shoe is squeaking when I walk. I though maybe it just needed to be broken in but it still continues so much so my husband tells me he now hears me coming. I'm going to try another to see if it's this make or just this shoe. Never had this problem with brooks before.

Unfortunately, I have a very narrow foot. The Ghost 12 in narrow width was just too wide, especially in the toe box. Tons of padding and support which actually felt like too much bulk around the ankle. Very few narrow width athletic shoes are even made which really limits choices. Brooks Glycerin is a better narrow fit but a horrible color. ASICS no longer makes narrow width.

I was really hoping these shoes would provide the cushion I need when standing on my feet for 8 to 9 hours a day. Two-thirds of the way through my shift I found my feet started to hurt and the cushion wasn't as reliable as I wanted it to be. I do like the overall design of the shoe as it is a slightly wider toe box but would love to see even a wider toe box so that it's not as pointed near the toes. It would also be great to see a lower heel-to-toe drop for this shoe. Maybe something around the 8 to 10 mm heel-to-toe drop. I also did find the soles of the shoes to be slippery on wet terrain. I don't know if it just needed more breaking in but I was not able to wear these shoes more than once due to not being able to walk on wet surfaces safely.

The toe bed is smaller than the Ghost 11 that I am replacing. Extreme pain on the balls of my feet and my toes went numb around mile 2. I would like to return these and get the ghost 11 for as long as I can...the glycerin still feel amazing on my feet if you’re looking for a more Comfortable Toe bed

Darn it. Darn it. These were recommended highly by some in my women's running group. I had to return them though because after 4 hours my right heel really, really hurt while walking. Prior to this, I have never had a moment of foot pain and log 75 miles of running q week. Not enough cushioning, too much heel drop for me? I really don't know. I very much appreciate Zappos return policy or this would have been a very costly discovery. Thanks, Zappos.

I have been running with the Brooks Ghost line for years, really happy with the fit/feel of the 12s (which felt like the Ghost 10s). My major issue though is that I bought these shoes in June and have already worn through the middle of them. I haven't been running/using them any more than my typical routine, so I'm pretty frustrated that they barely lasted two months!
