I LOVED Ghost 11. Had hoped 12 would be just as good. It isn't.

These shoes used to be great but now seem to be good for about a month or so. They don't last long at all.

As others said, they narrowed the toe box. Why is unknown. It seems manufacturer's like messing with stuff that is fine alread.

I had a pair of Ghost 10's that I almost lived in for two years - they were so comfortable all around that I couldn't give them up and wore them for probably longer than I should. I read the reviews on the Ghost 12 and was worried about what some people said - narrower and smaller in the toe box. So I bought a pair of Adrenelins a half size larger, but they did not work for me at all. So I rolled the dice and tried the Ghost 12s. The reviews I was worried about were true for me -- too narrow in the toe box and actually too rigid in the heel stabilizer. I gave it a try for almost a month - laces tighter, laces looser, with my arch inserts, without them - no go. It threw off my hips, my back and my legs felt like cement after a two mile walk. So I finally returned them. I did love the style and color, though.

Bought these based on previous reviews. Zappos recommended size 11 based on my previous shoe (Asics Men's GT-2000 7 Running Shoes size 11) but Brooks sizing is not the same as Asics. I'll get the Asics next time.

These are smaller than the Ghost 11. The toe box is narrower than the Ghost 11. The Ghost 11 is a much better fit for me. I will be returning these.

Size and Width right on for 11 4E. Felt like very little arch support. Cushioning at first seemed good, but hard sole and needing more tough length created ankle pain smelling and outer tendon smelling. Had to return.

I have been buying Ghost 11 for a year now (width 4E) - I usually go through a pair every 2 months (about 350-400 miles). Best sneaker I have owned for running. I just tried the Ghost 12, and they have a narrower toe box just as others have been reporting. I wore them around the house, but decided against running with them as I could already feel them tighter on my toes. I decided to load up on the 4E width of Ghost 11, and hope that Brooks returns to wider toe box for Ghost 13.

I have two older Ghost 12 size 10.5 that fit like a glove. This one is larger than those two. It is easily seen when I hold them side-by-side.

My previous Brooks fit just fine. Size 15 with EE width. The new shows say they are same size; however, they are tight.

My absolute favorite shoes to run were the Ghost 4. I tried to get a hold of them in any way without success so I decided to try this new model and it is a complete disaster. The shoe get very hot inside, probably the new fabric generates a lot of friction making the shoe really uncomfortable after a few km. Also I started to have problems with my socks. They slip and wrinkle under the feet. (never had this kind of issues with any other shoe and definitely not with the previous model). I thought was how I was wearing them but no way to have them stay in place. I still have a Ghost 4 so I tried them and no problem. These shoes are really the worst running shoes I ever tried.

I've only been wearing these for 2 months. Daily use. The outside edge is ripping off of the sole. I'm disappointed because they are a very comfortable pair of shoes.

The shows look good, but they don’t last long. Mine were very cushioned at first, but that went away in less than 2 months. I wear the shoes everyday. I’m just walking in the shoes and they didn’t last long for $140!! Pretty disappointing.

Like many of the reviews of the Ghost 12, my pair were just close to being the right fit. I went out and bought another pair of Ghost 11 in 9 4E because the fit of the 12 was too narrow. Such a shame! They were close to being ok. Very close. Like most others, I was not willing to go up half a size.

the entire brooks line seem to be a half or full size smaller I went to a shoe store and measured my feet and brooks ran smaller and so it is back to new balance

My big toe rubs on the side due to a too straight last. I would not have ordered these had last information been readily available.

This is the third pair of Brooks Ghost sneakers that I’ve bought...Same size, same width . These seem to be about a half size too long. I felt like I was walking in clown shoes. Just that little bit of extra length seems to make a difference. When compared to my Ghost 11, (last two purchases) they are about an inch longer. I love the sneaker and will be returning it for a different size. ?

I have worn Ghost 10,11, and soon to be 12's. The inside of each shoe abutted up against my foot. It was beyond painful. I wish Brooks still made the 11.

Small Small Small. I’ve had 12 pairs of Brooks Ghost between the 9, 10, and 11. Something changed with the 12. All other pairs were great from the first wear. The 12 is small and tight and stiff in every way. Now I have to find a new shoe. Very disappointing.

The GHOST 11 was great, I had 3 pairs of those. The GHOST 12 not so much, the toe box is terrible. I returned 2 pair because I thought it had to be a flaw, guess not. Disappointed how it could change it one year. A lot of companies are doing it, since when did such tight toe boxes become the new norm.

I have worn this model for a few years -- Ghost 9, 10, and 11 -- and the 12 really hurt my feet. It felt flat to me and my toes wore on the inner shoe walls. I normally wear a Medium size shoe, so this one feels more narrow than the previous model. I love the Ghost model, but tread lightly :) with the 12

This pair of shoes were dirty! I paid for a new pair of shoes and received used "Outlet" quality shoes! They are going back!!

I love the ghosts I have worn them for years but this was the first pair I developed holes near the big toe in within the first few weeks of wearing them. The tread began coming off as well. I returned the shoes for a different pair of the same hoping it’s was just a defective pair, had the same problem with the next pair within a few weeks. Same exercise regimen nothing had changed there. Have never had that issue before. Love Brooks hoping it’s just this particular shoe. Zappos has great customer service and return policies so I was able to return the shoes for something different.
