Felt like a plush, well cushioned shoe without too much jazz added to it. Happy to see that Brooks has cut down on all the extra flair from a few years ago and really simplified their shoes. The Ghost and GTS 20 felt pretty similar overall, but the Ghost had a slightly wider and more rigid toe box. The ghost felt more neutral, like the Launch I've been wearing, but with more cushion. Almost kept this and the GTS, but the wider toe box and extra weight made me hesitant. I wore the Launch from 1-6, but that shoe keeps getting cut down and has lost its snug/cushion/lightness combo and is now just light almost like a racing flat and was doing a number on my calves.

Overall I love how they feel, but they do feel slightly heavier than my all time favorite running shoes (Ghost 10). But with Ghost 10’s no longer being made, these do the job well. And they look awesome.

Having come from and loved the several pairs of Brooks Ghost 10s (perfect fit for me was D/medium width and 1/2 size larger than my normal for other brands), I found I had to move to a EE wide, same half size larger in the Ghost 11s. Recently, I purchased my first Ghost 12s from Zappos thinking they would likely size similarly to the Ghost 10s (D/medium and 1/2 up) based on reviews. I ended up keeping these although they feel a little narrower to my feet at the mid-foot point than the Ghost 10s of the same size. Perhaps it is just because they are not broken in yet through my usual moderate distance runs and walks like my older pairs of Ghost 10s are but I'm wondering if I might have been better served with the slightly wider EE/wide width. For context, I purchased men's US size 9 D/medium width Ghost 12s. I really prefer the cushion and neutral/normal pronation support of Brooks Ghosts over other similar running shoes.

The Ghost 12 are a nice shoe. Good response and cushion. The design is a bit bland. Time will tell to see how long they last considering I'm 6"2 230lbs.

Although this shoe fit my son last year in a size 11 N, this year it required an 11.5. Thanks Zappos for making exchange so easy!

Bought these to replace Ghost 11. Found them to be weirdly shorter and narrower than the previous model. Ordered half size up and crossing fingers they'll work. Loved the Ghost 11s.

For reasons supporting the stars, I really like the looks of this shoe. Brooks reputation was also a factor. I replaced the insole with a medical one for my plantar fasciitis.

These look and feel great, just seem to run a little small/narrow, so returned for a half size larger. We'll see if that does the trick or need a full size.

I love these shoes. I bought them based on a recommendation from a friend and they instantly became my everyday trainer. I’ve got about 75 miles on them now and can honestly say they feel great. The roll from mid foot to front is very propulsive and natural. They feel secure around my foot and you pretty much forget they are there once they are laced up. The reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because, for me at least, they don’t stand up well to higher mileage. This is probably a combination of my lack of strength at higher mileage and the shoes wearing down but either way, when I get into 8+ miles I start to feel it. I’ve got other shoes I use for longer distances but these are overall a great shoe.

These aren't narrow, but they are more narrow than my last Ghost 10. I think Brooks tried to make them more narrow and used softer material thinking the narrowness wouldn't be felt. For me its noticeable, but not enough to return them or try my luck with a wide width which I've never had before. Very plush when running, almost too cushy, if that makes sense.

My first purchase of a Brooks shoe. Good comfort and perfect fit but definitely takes some getting used to as this is a very different type of shoe over an Asic or NB in terms of feel and a certain "stiffness" in the sole. I needed something that doesn't allow for the heavy supination I seem to have and as a neutral shoe they are superb for that purpose, but again, they feel much stiffer on the outer edge and just takes some getting used to. I have experienced zero rolling out with these shoes and am happy about that. They don't offer much by way of style and while it isn't a factor for what I need they just look bulky and sort "old fogey" in appearance.

Great shoe as always. The 12s seem to be a half size smaller than the previous versions. I went up a 1/2 a sizes a they fit perfectly.

The Ghost 12 is good. Still not as comfy as my Glycerins, but better than the Ghost 11, which I returned. The 11's felt flat and poorly made. I previously had the Ghost 10's and these feel similar. The 12s have cushion and support, but again not like the Glycerins. There is decent room in the toe box. The color: electric blue is SATURATED! Very BLUE!!! You'll get comments. However, Brooks has has some quality control issues lately. I had to try 5 other pairs of different Brooks until I settled on these that didn't seem to have any issues. These are good enough to keep, but not my favorite Brooks ever. Glycerins are the most comfy, but they are $150ish!

I have been a 9 1/2 wide, but when I ordered in that size, the felt tight. I then ordered 10 extra wide and fit fine. In fact, these are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had.

The entire shoe felt stretchy. The laces definitely were. I guess I just have to stick with the Addiction line.

I love the Brooks Ghost series. This shoe seems to be tight on the top of the toes.

feel great for running, but a little clunky, and they tend to hit each other in the heel areas... the laces are way too long that I have to double knot it... but the comfort and feel is very good....

I ordered the Ghost 12 to rotate with my Ghost 11. I really like both shoes. I have a wide foot, so appreciate that Brooks offers so many W options. My only complaint so far is the laces, which are too short to tie a runners loop. I often have this problem, and don't understand why so many manufacturers include short laces. I did contact Brooks and they are sending a replacement pair.

Love the color (red), love the feel (great cushioning, but without feeling too overdone)l, love the long run.

This is the 5th pair of Ghosts that I've owned. I am an avid walker and do 6-10 miles a week. The support is good and I like the little toe cap protector for when I do run and lift my big toe. I felt that the EE was a bit narrower than other Ghosts that I've worn. I'm a believer that a running shoe should feel like it's already broken in when they're new. These will have to stretch first. I wish the choices for the EE width were not limited to black, gray, and navy. I like the darker shoe because it doesn't show the dirt as bad but maybe another choice with a more vivid color would be nice (Brooks, are you reading this?). Having only a week's worth of wear doesn't give me enough data to give feedback to the durability but I'm hoping these are as reliable as the past models have been.

These shoes are amazing!! I purchased one of the Melt series with the blue overlay and the red, white and blue sole. The length was great for my feet but the toe box could be just a little bit wider to have that feeling of a natural toe splay. The only reason I return these shoes is because I found my feet wanting to walk on the outside of my shoes. I have a pair of ghost nines from a few years ago and those shoes do not affect how my feet walk. After talking to the Brooks company I found this was indeed a defect in this particular pair of shoes. Overall I really love the cushion feel and the design of the shoe is excellent!!
