Addendum to first review - read the other reviews. I did not have any trouble with the backpack feature. I found I used it as a backpack less in a month of travel than over the shoulder. The backpack straps would not be comfortable if worn for a long time with a heavily loaded bag, but one would get a proper backpack for that purpose. Additionally, I loved being able to put my hand through the slip sleeve when in packed subways and other crowded tourist locations. It really was perfect for me.

I was looking for a convertible travel bag that was both a backpack and crossbody. I purchased a bag from target, this bag, two Sherpani bags (the Camden and Dispatch), and had my original cheap amazon bag I wanted to replace. This was the winner. I don't LOVE that the backpack straps arent dedicated, that is, they loop one big strap to form the two shoulder straps, but thus far that's fine. There are lots of pockets, plus the internally hooked wallet. The ability to slide over a suitcase handle is great. I wish the zipper were ON your back when being worn for secuirty, but I can make do with the secured wallet and internal zip pocket. I also wish it was cut proof. This was the most expensive bag, but fills all the needs of my cheap little Amazon bag I was so sad to lose, while also seeming like it will last me a long time (the amazon bag's only downfall).

I am a mental health nurse and see people out in the community. This a a great bag to hold all my essentials, it is light, deep enough, has several sections for syringes, medications. Blood pressure cuff, stethoscope. Love it! (I was not compensated for this review)

Love the bag. Perfect for travel. Has a slip sleeve, converts to a backpack and easily worn cross body when you want to keep a handle on it. Big enough to put devices and books, and small enough to carry around as a large purse bag and not have to check it when going to museums, etc.

I got this a few weeks ago I love the purse but the label is tag is upside down which makes me wonder if this purse is authentic

I got this bag some weeks ago and I love the fact that is 3 in 1. The design and quality are excellent. It is very apparent that it is a durable bag, so you can trust that it won't tear if bring a lot of items in it. It have tons of compartments and a water bottle holder, making It really good for travel.

The "backpack" feature was odd: one strap through a loop at the top; at first I couldn't even figure out how to put it on. Also didn't care for the shape - width was larger than height. Material was nice and seemed sturdy, as did hardware. When I ordered this bag, I also ordered another from a different brand so I could compare. I am keeping the other one.

I like Baggallini's and this one (dark red one) does not disappoint. It will carry a lot of stuff, but is still comfortable to carry with the padded shoulder strap. I wanted one smaller than the large one (eggplant/purple one) that is big enough for an overnighter, but larger than the smaller shoulder bags and wristlet that I often carry when I am running errands.

I love how versatile and convenient this 3-in-1 backpack is! I wear it as a backpack when when heading out for an essential run, wear as a shoulder bag when carrying my laptop for work or as hand bag when heading out with friends! So durable and fits all my essentials! I love

This bag is perfect for me, so I purchased another in a different color. I love the versatility of it converting to a backpack and the 2 side pockets are so useful for carrying beverages. Just the perfect size for my insulated coffee thermos/mug and my water bottle. Very easy to slip them in. The straps are durable, spills wipe away easily, pockets and wristlet perfect, and the over the luggage panel very nice when traveling. So much room for everything, including my iPad. Great sales too!

I have this bag in the Black Cheatah and the Navy. Please bring bright colors in this particular bag. This is the only bag I use for every day and even for some special events. Great organization, light weight, great zippers that glide easily, extremely functional, and the two side pockets on the outside are a plus. Inside has great organization as well as the outside of the bag.

I bought this for a recent trip. It slips right on the handles of my rolling suitcase but after checking my bag, to walk around the airport, I was able to put it on my back. It is slim and it does not hold a lot. For example, I put a large makeup case with toiletries and a smaller makeup case plus glasses and a book, but it is slim. It is not holding an extra jacket or sweatshirt and I used it more as a large purse/tote for the travel days. It's made very well and a respectable style bag for a woman as a "backpack." I would recommend it as long as you were not hoping to pack clothing in it.

I've been a flight attendant for 23 years and this is the best bag I've ever had ! It's what I'm using for my new tote bag. It fits everything from my bigger tote bag without having to carry such a big bag around. Love all the pockets. And I love that it's blue inside so I can actually see where things are. I bought two of these in case something happens to this one. I will use this for the next 20 years of my career

I bought this bag as my personal item in air travel. I love all the pockets, the versatility in ways of carrying it and, of course, the ability to slide it over my carryon handles. It was thoughtfully designed & so good looking. I bought one for my sister for her travels and she loves it too.

I have been using this bag constantly for a year now. I ordered it after seeing two of my friends carrying it on a 2-week trip to Greece. I use it every day if I need to carry items too large to fit in my belt bag. It holds my large iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard attached perfectly. I especially love all the pockets! The designers were very thoughtful about their placement.

I use this constantly when I travel. It's so good that I bought one as a gift.

I'm looking forward to using this bag when I travel to a large city for a conference later this summer will be able to carry my sandals while walking across town in my running shoes, then switch for the day no separate bag needed.

This 3 in 1 bag is perfect for traveling. It converts from a shoulder bag to a back pack to a tote instantly! This is my second bag because one isn't enough!

I bought this is the sand color...very neutral and goes with just about everything I took on my trip to Texas. It has so many pockets and is perfect for organizing your trip essentials. There are 2 slip pockets inside the bag along with a 10" zippered pocket as well. On either end (on the outside of the bag) are 2 slip pockets perfect for for a water bottle, sunglasses, etc. There is a even a piece that you can use to slide over the handle of your luggage to make the bag hands free. On the back it has a wide pocket with a magnetic closure. On the front it has a 7" wide zippered pocket, behind that is the 4" slip for your cell phone and behind that is another 7" zippered pocket. All measurements are approximate. This bag can be used as a shoulder bag, a crossbody bag, a tote or a backpack.

I do a lot of traveling and this bag is awesome! Works great on handles of a roll around suitcase, as a (large) purse, and as a backpack! I love that water bottles fit in the outside pockets and there is a large outer zip pocket to keep necessities easily accessible. My only complaint is that the strap that converts it to a backpack should have a strong snap (or multiple snaps) to hold the strap in place while using it as a back pack, as the entire purse drops to one side when you take off one (or both) of the shoulder straps. I've used a large decorative pin but they don't hold up. After two years and lots of use, one side pocket (water bottle) seam has started to come apart. I tried to repair myself but the fabric is so thick I could barely get my needle through.

This is a backpack, and a tote! Also carry water bottles. Super convenient!

I love big bags, especially when I travel. But it's not easy to find something that can double as a backpack and tote/shoulder bag, and still be stylish enough to carry sightseeing, or for shopping and lunch expeditions. This bag is great because it looks good no matter how you configure it, and it holds everything you could possibly need, and then some. I can fit my reading and sun glasses in the roomy end pockets, which are also the perfect size for carrying a water bottle and small umbrella. Front zipper pockets are perfect for my phone and back up chargers, and the large front pocket has enough space for a small tablet and stylus, or an old fashioned notebook and ink pen, with the bonus of extra card slots for anything you don't want to put in your wallet. It's too small for my 10 inch Ipad, but the rear snap pocket is the perfect size, unless you want to unzip it at the bottom and use the pocket as a sleeve to attach it to the handle of a suitcase or carry-on. The roomy interior has plenty of space for a large wallet and cosmetic bag, with room to spare for a book or other small items. I'm still waiting for Baggallini to design a large zipper cosmetic bag that is just the right fit with the zip around wallet. I carry a waterproof Vera Bradley for now, but would really like to have a fully matched set. Also loving the spacious interior zip pocket, and there are even more card slots, if you still don't have enough to go around. The long adjustable strap makes converting it from backpack to crossbody a breeze, and super practical when you want to keep it close and secure. I also like shortening the strap to carry it as a shoulder bag, but I think longer carry handles would add even more dimension, and make it easier to carry without having to sling it across your back or shoulders. Overall, I think it rates 5 stars for being the most versatile, roomy, and lightweight bag I've ever owned, with extra points for the stylish design. If you like big, roomy bags you can haul most everything you need in, without feeling like you're dragging your closet behind you, I very highly recommend it.
