I've got extremely wide feet and supinate when I walk. These shoes have GREAT stability and lots of room for my wide feet.

These shoes fit me just fine. They felt tight at first, but I had on thicker socks than normal. I’ve loved NB as they help my back after several vertebrael fractures. I didn’t know they’d gone out of style and back in style. Who cares as long as they do their job!

These were very comfortable; they have good support and they were a true narrow. It is hard to get something really narrow in my size 11, but these were. The laces are good, too, they are not slippery, so they stay tied.

This is the best shoe for my flat feet. Shipped quickly and in packaging in perfect condition. Would not hesitate to order again.

I'm an overpronator and rely on New Balance to give me the stability I need for a good gait. I wear a 9-1/2 in a running shoe and this fits me as expected. I add a gel heel cup b/c no shoe has enough heel padding for me. I'm happy with the 1540v3!

Toe box seemed a little bigger than my 1340’s

I've worn these since I went out of Nike waffle trainers. Anyone old enough to remember them? NB is supportive and comfortable, stands up to nursing shifts. So happy to find them on Zappos.

i always buy new balance

These shoes fit perfectly. I would have liked a little more arch support. I love the extra color shoe laces so shoes are not so drab. New Balance shoes always fit my long narrow feet the best!

I bought these shoes to replace shoes I already have that are worn out. This is my fourth pair of these shoes, so I obviously like them! They are everything I hoped for.

This is my fourth attempt at finding a pair of dedicated "walking sneakers". I walk about 2-5 miles a day to make up for all the sitting at work. I would like a dedicated walking shoe instead of a sneaker designed for running. Unfortunately, walking shoes are usually the ugliest, most matronly and geriatric looking shoes. The NB 1540V3 was the best option at a shoe that looked attractive and designed for walking. This pair would have worked if it were a half size larger. I am reliably a size 7 w/a medium width in almost every pair of shoes I own. In the NB brand apparently, I am not. I stopped at NB store and did the custom fit machine & was told to try a 7.5 narrow. This pair is another return due to size; they were simply too tight at the toe. I would suggest sizing up with this shoe. I have a narrow heel but flat arches, I need stability such as a heel counter in my shoes. The NB walking shoes have good stability but not much in arch support. In my case I always have to add inserts in my shoes, so this was less of a factor. I just wish they'd make attractive walking shoes.

Having an odd sized foot (10 1/2 N, which is one size you almost never see) it always makes me happy that New Balance not only carries a nice choice of shoes in my size, but they sell them through Zappos, where they are affordable, are delivered quickly, and fit nearly 100% of the time.

I am so thankful that NewBalance makes shoes in extra wide widths for small shoe sizes. This shoe is comfortable and smart looking.

A great supportive shoe, recommended to my by my podiatrist. I’m usually a size 9, but it felt a bit short and snug. Ordered the 9.5 and it fits perfectly. I was surprised because I’m a true 9 in all types and brands of shoes, including New Balance, so this model must run small. I’m not a runner so can’t to speak as to how it performs in that way. Would buy again.
