The V3's are a step backward for me and my walking stride compared to the V2's I've been using for several years (about 3 pairs per year)

I wear this model because I have always tended to pronate.

The shoe is great, but the shoe laces are lousy. The shoes feels better and better each time I wear them.

My 3rd or 4th pair of 1540s. Really like the feel and support of the shoe. I just wish they would have more colors/looks that made them look a bit more contemporary/stylish. I would love it if these were part of their "customize" program.

This is the only shoe that fits me well with no pain.

I bought these for work, but I like them so much I'm gonna buy a pair for personal use. I don't think they're as durable as the V2's were but they look much better.

They are great for walking and running. The 1540v3 is a great shoe.

Toung is a bit short therefore when you tie it ties against my leg not the toung

I normally only wear 990 series; bought this one because dark colors of 990 were unavailable in the right size. This was not a good idea. This is a comfortable shoe but in the way slippers are comfortable. The foot in it feels shapeless, and the look adds 20 years to your age.

this is 3rd pair of 1540's. after lace up the strings tight and then start moving. . . the left foot tongue disappears into the shoe. meaning the tongue that was sticking out past the laces is now not visible

I've been wearing the model 587 since They were first recommended by a podiatrist. Great shoe! I could walk all day with no pain at all. Then, of course, the 587 was discontinued. New Balance has a few models that are close, but none as good.

I run 12 to 15 miles per week. I am 6'6" and weigh 215 lbs. I wear a size 16 Narrow (B). I have been running in the Fresh Foam X 880 but was unable to get my size when I ordered recently. When I ordered, the only running shoe available to fit me was the 1540v3. I have found the 1540v3 to be stiff and for the initial runs in them I developed shin pain. This morning I ran 3.4 miles without pain, so either my body needed to accommodate to a new type of shoe, or the shoe is loosening up. I would be thrilled to know when the best time of the year is to order shoes so I can find a better selection of size 16 Narrow (B) running shoes.

Stiff heel and not any rocker motion built in for my ankle fusion relief. Comfortable with orthotic insert but clumsy with stepping. I won't buy again

I was looking for a model I had previously purchased (but apparently not directly from New Balance) that isn't as stiff as these are. These are good, but a bit heavier andstiffer that I wanted.

I'm a barber and stand on my feet all day and these sneakers are good for that, however, walking is a problem I feel like I'm walking in Franksteins shoes. My previous pair were 840v3 which I was very happy with, I thought the new pair of 1t540v 3 wold be better than the last, Incas wrong. I will continue to buy New Balance because I have a narrow foot.

I have bought several of these sneakers and each time the binding tears. I'm returning a pair today you are issuing me an email gift card as this last pair did it in about 2 weeks but I wore the returned pair a long time waiting for this above purchase which was unavailable in my size for many months as it's the only shoe I wear due to pronation. In addition you should offer a link where one can be informed when an outage on a style/size is back in stock as it was frustrating checking several times a week for months without success.
