Stabilize my feet, I tend to pronate my left foot.

The 1540 has been my go to shoe since being recommended by my Chiropractor and Physical Therapists several years ago. I hate to say anything positive has come from Covid 19 crisis, but for my most current purchases of two pairs of 1540 v3 I can say that NB customer service has finally caught up with the world class quality of their Made in the USA shoes. The responsiveness and helpfulness of their support has catapulted from arrogant/hopeless to friendly/do anything to help. I will continue to be purchasing these shoes into the foreseeable future. I hope their sales and customer service teams continue on with their positive changes as well.

These are very well made, just looking at the construction they have clean, tight seams, no glue, and quality materials. After twenty mile "break in," these 1540v3's are very stable with plenty of shock absorption. I purchased the Black/Castle Rock...they look great and feel super comfortable. Definitely will purchase again. These replaced the 1080v2 which were good overall, but are outclassed by the 1540v3's. Go New Balance!

Walking and playing golf Best shoe of this type I have ever had

The podiatrist told me I needed these shoes with my inserts to keep from foot pain and ruining my back. They are the best, my feet don't hurt and hey are all I wear.

I do alot of walking and these sneakers are so comfortable! They feel like slippers only with great support! Will buy again!

My favorite shoes; actually it's about the only ones I wear anymore. I walk a lot, and these are Quite comfortable. My local store stocks my size (15B), but this time I had to use a mail order - no problem!

I have worn a few pairs of the V1 and then V2. I liked version 2 a lot but at first I wasn't sure about these version 3's. After a day of wearing them my feet got used to them and feel real good in them now. Good built quality and nice looking I think also. Kevin

These shoes came in an extra wide width for my wide feet and they are total comfort. I haven't ran in them yet but I am sure they'll do just fine. I don't like the flat shoelaces that came with the shoes and prefer the round laces from the good 'ole days. Other than that they are a great pair of shoes.

This is my second pair of NB running shoes. I find them very comfortable and they really helped my plantar fasciitis.

This is my fourth pair of 1540v3's. I am a 10EE. They fit me perfectly, and are always consistent in sizing and construction. I have a pair that I use inside on the elliptical, and my outside walking pair I use with custom orthotics. Either way, they are extremely comfortable.

Perfect shoe for one who has wide feet and foot issues

Have worn the 1540 and its predecessors for years, providing support for a slow, pronating runner with wide feet, even on concrete. Small and easy improvements would be welcome: shoe strings 2" longer; tongue 0.5" longer; and one more color choice besides blue and black.

I've been wearing NB shoes as my only shoes for at least 15 years. I change them every 3 months and buy the same pair until they change the model. Then I'm with the new model. I play music for a living and have a pair of dressy, all black leather NBs for tux gigs I play. I even have NB slippers, which means that my feet are quite literally always in NB shoes unless I'm sleeping. You could call me a big fan. My only gripe is that I require bubble laces that are 63" long in order to lace them, and they don't come with laces that long. I use a runner's loop. It seems that NB should or at least could, ship me some laces long enough to tie the shoes I buy every 3 months. The retail stores I've always shopped in have done this for me and I really do appreciate it.
