Except for formal occasions and sleeping, I live in the 1540s, even when it was numbered something else (I think in the 900s). Don't stop making it.

I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit comfortably because I have had surgeries on both my feet. The 1540V3 is the best shoe by far that I have found to fit me. I don't even have to wear my orthotics in them.

My 1540 v2 was worn for probably thousands of miles. It was past time to replace so I ordered the v3. They meet my expectations completely! They fit well and are comfortable worn on many different surfaces. When they are worn out, will be back for whatever the version is then.

Please continue to make your shoes in the USA. I have been buying NB Shoes for over 20 years because of this and the quality is the best. I don't mind paying more as long as the quality is as good as it has been. I use to buy my clothes from Lands End because their clothes were made in the USA and the quality was the best. In fact, I am still wearing 25 year old Lands End clothes that were made here in the USA that has, lasted longer than the new Lands End clothes made abroad. I am now looking for a new company to purchase my clothes from. Thank you

I was poking around online looking at new tennis shoes for my self. I have bought a lot of shoes for my daughters over the years...I have three! I had no idea that New Balance produced some American made shoes. I ordered a pair and man they are fantastic! Worth every penny. I also purchased a second non USA pair and you know what...I love em. Both pairs are comfortable. The USA made pair you can tell are a little heavier and have the super cool flag on the tongue. Thanks NB you have a regular customer in me. I am looking at some of your other products. Keep it up. I am spreading the word!

If you suffer from plantar fasciitis, you owe it to yourself to try this shoe. This shoe, along with plantar fasciitis compression socks, provides me with great support for all-day comfort.

I am a lifelong tennis player and loyal wearer of NB MC806-2E who, due to the pandemic, is not able to play tennis right now. I've been finding other ways to exercise and decided that I needed a pair of running shoes. After a phone consultation with NB, I chose the 1540v3. They have given me great comfort, support, & stability, straight out of the box. I only take them off to shower and go to sleep!

I've worn New Balance running shoes for at least 40 years. I bought a pair of NB running shoes online for the fist time about 8 years ago. The model I bough then has since been discontinued.
Based on information from the NB website, and reviews, I decided to purchase another pair of shoes online. I would rather try on shoes but give the Covid-19 problems I wasn't sure when I could or would go into an appropriate shoe store or sporting goods store. Plus, the selection is much better on the NB website.
I am very happy with the shoes. They are just as described on the website and in the reviews.

They are very comfortable and fit my somewhat wide feet. The manufacturing is top notch: consistent stitching, all parts line up, both shoes fit the same. I will use them mainly for casual wear in/out.
My only complaint is would like more color choices

This is my 3 pair of this shoe. I wore out the other 2 pair, over a 2 year period. I have weird feet, wide, very wide toe area, bad arches and screws in my right foot that rub on the top rim on almost every other shoe I've bought. No shoe is perfect for me but these come as close as possible. Plus this series, the New Balance 1540v3, is made in the USA!! I try to buy ONLY USA made products!!

These seem to be rock solid shoes. Usually I wear a 12W in women's, but i didn't like the colors, i i went with a regular men's 10, changed the laces to a pretty peach color. The shoes feel very supportive and won't let my foot roll around. They keep it in place. Also, these do indeed have the rollbar technology. Initially they were very tight, and they took a bit to "break them in", but now that they seem to be, I like them. I have lots of feet issues, particularly being "too flexible" where my feet just flop around. These type of shoes really help with that. And I have terrible arches, and I walk on my tendons. These shoes seem to help all that, with out looking terribly "old person-y". An absolute win!
