For wide feet these are these best "tennis shoes" available. Very comfortable. Wear them everyday.

My husband's largest foot measures 13.5 wide, which does not exist in U.S. sizing. 14 EE feels very good with Aetrex Lynco orthotics.

Purchased these with a coupon I received from New Balance for a pair that developed a hole in the webbing near the toe. New Balance honered their warranty and I am completely satisified with this new pair.

Great quality, sized to fit, I'm normally a 9.5D but usually always buy a 10 for Nike's or adidas due to the narrow fit. I had to return my order because NB size 10 actually was a true size 10 in length and width, so it was too long and wide, so order to size

Very happy to replace the old 1540's. These are daily work shoes and it was definitely time!

The New Balance 1540 v3 was recommended to me by my foot specialist because of its "Motion Control" feature. The wider toe on this shoe is also good for my feet.

I have flat feet and wear motion control shoes. These felt well. Love them.

I'm on my feet and lift trucks all day . My feet , ankles , knees etc feel terrific after 10 hours

I have been wearing New Balance shoes for over 15 years, these shoes are well made durable and last a long time and love that you can get in wider and half size increments. Unfortunately while recently purchasing a new pair, old not get the exact size I needed, I ended up buying these shoes a 1/2 size too long. WOULD BE NICE IF NEW BALANCE SENT ME A VOUCHER FOR A NEW PAIR OR HALF OFF NEXT PAIR OF SHOES.....ALso wish you carried a more extensive line of basketball shoes!

However, I am very disappointed that you changed the company that supplied your insole inserts, very uncomfortable and more expensive. I returned them to the store, could not ware them, at all !!

My New Balance shoes offer the best support for my 6'6" frame.

My husband has REALLY bad feet; heel spurs, no arches, crushed ankles and he has to wear custom made orthotics. This comes from years of working in construction. These sneakers are THE ONLY ones that give him comfort. We only buy him New Balance ...and always the latest version of this specific sneaker. Never fails to provide him comfort. They also wear very well......and look nice. We even bought him a black pair ....when he needs to be "dressed up" a little more. You will not be disappointed.

I had two V2 1540's and was very satisfied with them. One is gone from wear and the other is still surviving after 2-3 years. The reason for the length of time is I had a medical emergency and could not wear my V2's for almost one year. Part of the emergency was the shortening of my feet and learning to walk again without toes and part of one foot (not easy since toes are for balancing). So I have custom inserts and they work very fine in my 1540 V2's and V3. The V3 is just as good as the V2's and I am very pleased with it (I have been a fan of NB because of my feet for many, many years. Hint: I am old). Now for the "short tongue" of V3. Took out my measuring tape and sure enough it is true...all 1/8th of an inch (approximately 2.5 mm). No big deal since I utilize the leather piece sewn on the tongue by putting my lace under it to keep the tongue from "receding". TO ALL ENJOY THE V3! It is an excellent shoe!

Comfortable, needed an extra wide toe box, 6X would have been ideal. Actually the ideal shoe was a trail running shoe, but couldn't find the extra wide toe box in the trail. So went with the running. And since I couldn't get a 6X, I upped the size by a half, and got the 4X. It works pretty good, although one foot is slightly smaller then the other, so it has a little movement in the shoe. But less inconvenient then the tight toe box. So I am really happy with the shoe as it's predecessor was tight at the toes.

I log about 30 miles a week and the fit is terrific

Absolutely love these shoes!! I have very flat feet and they give me great support with the wide bottom. I wish they had more colors, I would buy one of each. Right now there are only 2.

Disclaimer: I've been buying this brand of shoes for a couple of years now. They are sturdy, reliable, and last for a good while. On the downside, they do have a squeek sound to them depending on what material you are walking on. (Concrete, for example)
