Overall, I absolutely LOVE this cozy shoe, but it did not work for me. I always wear a 38 in Birkenstock, but found the 38 (normal, not narrow size) to be too small lengthwise and too narrow. Conversely, the 39 just felt completely too big. I’m going to continue looking for a shearling Birkenstock though! Quality and comfort are guaranteed.

Love these!!! So cute with wool Fair Isle socks. I would have smacked anyone who told me some day I would wearing sandals and socks, but here we are. Adorable. I have narrow feet and have to wear them on the smallest hole, but they seemed true to size. They might feel a little tight at first until the suede gives and the shearling flattens a bit. Just ignore that, they'll be fine in two hours.

These are super comfy right out of the box. No break-in needed. I went with my usual size and 'regular/narrow' width with some trepidation after reading reviews here. In fact regular/narrow was just cozy fine. I would have been swimming in a wide, even with the sherpa...and I have fairly wide feet.

I love these. Second pair I’ve bought. When these wear out, I will buy them again.

I have purchased four of these sandals....3 for me and 1 as a gift for my sister. They are sooooo comfortable!

Never thought I would buy Birkenstocks but I love these for wearing around the house. I'm normally a size 7.5 and these fit true to size. Arch support is moderate (like other reviewers have said, I think the shearling probably interferes with the arch a bit) but they're super comfy anyway. My feet don't get sweaty and they don't turn black from the shearling. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, supportive, ugly-in-a-fashionable-way shoe!

I was SO nervous about the width after reading reviews. I will say it appears incredibly narrow and is a bit on the narrow side but these shoes are soooooo comfortable!! I wear them primarily at home and nothing else. I walk 7 miles a day & have an issue with my metatarsal so these have proven to provide great support and comfort. EXACTLY what I was hoping for!

I don’t have narrow feet but being that these were unisex I opted for the narrow. They fit my feet perfectly. They are adjustable but I left them on the tightest buckle hole knowing the leather would stretch and the shearling would compress. The arch support are amazing.

Cozy, comfy, classic Birks with a twist (shearling). The shearling is substantial and looks rich in the Midnight color. I ordered a size up to accommodate thick wool socks; and the fit is perfect. I would be even happier if this style/fabrication was offered in the Arizona Platform. Fingers crossed that with socks, the shearling will wear well, and remain clean.

The length was fine but they are too wide, even on the last hole. I should have ordered the narrow but haven't with other Birkenstocks. I'll still keep them and just wear with socks. They are so warm and very comfortable. Got two compliments the first time I wore them. Unique and cute!

Very comfortable. Fun, funky style. Interestingly, the shearling lining helps feet feel comfortable in very hot AND very cold weather. These are my second pair of shearling Birks, which I wore out from many happy years of overuse in all kinds of weather. I wear them for pedicures in snowy weather, with cute socks in autumn months, and to help keep my feet dry and comfy in hot, humid weather. They’re great bedroom slippers! I was thrilled to find them again on Zappos, and snapped them up before they disappeared from the store.

These feel good and supportive which is important to me. I’ve been wearing Mephistos sandals which are very supportive and comfortable. So happy I branched out to the Birkenstock’s. I did because of the shearling to wear around the house. Love them!

I ordered the shearling in size 9 narrow, and they fit very well, without socks. I have been wearing them all year long, winter and summer., almost every day, though I have a large number of other sandals... After a while they stretch out a little and it is possible to tighten them. They are very comfortable and good looking. I am on my second pair now and am about to buy another pair in a dark blue. I wish they would come in other colors to wear in the summer, as they are so comfortable with the fur on the skin. They keep my feet cool in summer and warm in winter.

This is my second pair of Arizona Shearling and I absolutely love them. They keep my feet warm because I hate the thought of giving up my Birks in the winter.

Only complaint is they make my feet black on the bottom...hope this stops with ware.

I wore Birkenstock's for about 20 years. We moved to colder weather and I stopped. I decided to try them again when I saw these, with the shearling. They are more wonderful and comfortable than I remembered. I have trouble getting shoes that fit, but Birks have always fit and still do. I had forgotten how wonderful they are, but I will not stop wearing them ever again.

The Arizona has been my regular sandal for the last 50 years. Basically I wear them April to October. Chicago is not really sandal weather in the other months. The Shearlings, with a pair of all white socks will extend my range. They feel real comfortable, but right now, it's August, they will wait for some cold weather, and they are waiting in the closet.

I love these shoes. Honestly, everyone was skeptical when I got these in October of last year. I wasn’t sure if I would ever wear them, because: When it’s cold, wouldn’t you wear close-toed shoes? When it’s warm, wouldn’t the shearling be too hot? The reality is that, in the 9 months since purchasing, these have been my number 1 most worn shoe. When it’s not raining, I’m wearing these. They work well from anywhere between 38-75 degree F weather (I’m speaking from experience). And I’ve gotten so many compliments - from retail workers to coworkers to friends to random people on the street - that I actually feel stylish in them! I will be purchasing another pair whenever these wear out, which looks to be in another 1.5 years, since these are going strong. The only downside to these shoes is that you won’t want to wear any other shoe after wearing these regularly for a bit. I wear a 38N in regular and soft footbed Birkenstocks, and the 38N worked for this style as well. I can’t recommend enough! Get these!!

I haven't worn yet, but know they will be great. Originally I purchased a 37 since I wear a 6-6.5, but they were too big. I exchanged for my normal Birks Gizah size 36 that Zappos shipped out quickly as usual!

I am a sucker for birkenstock Arizona's i have several pairs this was my latest purchase. I got them so i can wear the sandals during the winter if only around the house as i live in new jersey. They feel comfy cozy i barely notice I have shoes on. Even the regular Arizona's feel this way They look alittle big but fit just fine. My feet do not sweat with the shearling. I cannot say how well it will hold up but i am hoping for the best

I wear these constantly throughout the year, only snow/rain days excluded. (Though I am tempted to try.) Having put so many miles in these, I will say the fur holds up surprisingly well but for specific high-pressure spots, center heel and ball of feet. But the fur didn't rub off elsewhere--even after a couple years. And the fur forms to one's feet deliciously. I still have the first pair I bought and the fur is lush everywhere but the pressure spots mentioned. So long as you understand walking on fur will wear the fur in places, these will exceed expectations. I wear the same N size as non-fur Arizonas and find them fine, just one hole looser on both straps. I love how comfy they keep my feet. Like wearing slippers. Black w/black fur will leave dye on feet, so I've bought white fur in whatever colors come up.
